Chapter 150 The Strange Delta

However, his entire body was deformed, and his original appearance could not be seen; only his eyes were fixed on the ship.

The boat was moving very fast. He wrapped his legs around the bottom of the boat and kept his eyes fixed on the people who appeared on the deck. Once he saw someone, he would pull them into the sea and then enter their brain to control them.

Xie Yuancheng quickly chased it away. Just as I was about to take it and look at it, I noticed the boat was moving. Xie Yuancheng hurriedly led me into the cabin.

As soon as we went inside, we saw a huge fish in front of us. I thought about it carefully and realized it was either a whale or a shark. It was about 100 or 200 meters long. It was turning over outside the boat, causing some waves to come onto the deck.

I held Xie Yuancheng's hand tightly. I had only seen it in movies, and seeing it in person still gave me a fright. I will never go out to sea again.

People around us were exclaiming in surprise, taking pictures with their phones. Xie Yuancheng put his arm around my shoulder and went inside. As soon as I sat down, I covered my face with the books on the table. It was terrifying.

"Ying'er is a coward, it won't eat you, don't be afraid."

"This is shallow water, how could they appear here? Shouldn't they be in the deep sea?"

I remember reading in the travel book about shallow waters, so why is there something here?

"Ying'er~" Xie Yuancheng removed the book from my face and let me lean on his shoulder: "We're already in the deep sea. This ship will pass through part of the deep sea and then sail out. Although it's only part, that strange thing made a sound just now, which attracted it here."

"That's good, I don't want to see it again."

I quietly leaned against Xie Yuancheng's chest and closed my eyes to rest, but suddenly some strange people appeared in my mind. They all looked terrifying, moved stiffly, some were missing arms or legs, and could still hop around.

I was startled awake. Xie Yuancheng was also asleep with his eyes closed. I saw that everyone else was still fast asleep. Even the waiters walking around were asleep, clutching the service signs they were holding.

"Yuancheng, Yuancheng, wake up!" I called him several times, but he didn't respond. I checked his breathing, and it had become very weak.

I saw him open his mouth slightly, and he was calling my name. I kissed him directly, and thankfully he woke up immediately, touching his lips and smiling happily.

"Ying'er, we're outside. Let's go back and talk about it."

I tapped him on the head: "I called you but you didn't wake up. Look around, everyone is sleeping."

Xie Yuancheng then stood up, took my hand and walked outside. After crossing a corridor, we heard the sound of a group of people walking not far away.

I thought of the people in my mind, and I placed my hand on the hull of the boat. What was originally a wall suddenly opened into a door, and I hurriedly pulled Xie Yuancheng inside. The glass here allowed us to see out, but from the outside, all we could see inside was the wall.

A group of strange men, looking at axes and knives, walked by; they were exactly the same as the ones I had just seen.

"Yuan Cheng, what are they? They're the same as the ones I just had in my mind."

"I saw it too, Ying'er, don't be afraid."

Xie Yuancheng started the tablet. The ship was originally very safe, but now all the lights were red. The group of people had climbed up from the sea, and they were all dead souls who had perished here.

"This is the Delta, but there are no ghosts in 2020, so they came from outer space and wanted to control the people on this ship, but they pretended to be ghosts."

Xie Yuancheng wanted to go out, but I quickly stopped him: "There are too many of them, you can't go out."

"Be good, Ying'er, wait here for me and don't move. I just need to see the numbers on their hands to know which group they are."

He was really leaving, so I grabbed his waist. There happened to be someone alone, and I saw that the number on his waist was DM2347.

"It's DM2347, I just saw it."

"Ying'er, you're so clever." After Xie Yuancheng entered the information, the shopkeeper rushed over and quickly took care of them.

He always takes risks, so I need to keep a closer eye on him from now on. I'll hold onto his waist and not let go. Anyway, it's very comfortable to lean against his back, so I can let him struggle as he pleases.

"Ying'er, Master is about to be overwhelmed, I have to go help him."

"No, he controls time and space, he won't get hurt."

"Ying'er, be careful your master might hit you on the head."

I thought of the shopkeeper's sinister eyes and finally let go of his hand. Xie Yuancheng pulled me out, thankfully he remembered to take me with him, otherwise I wouldn't have let him sleep in my bed when we got back.

Even though he was in 2020, his skills hadn't changed at all, and that's when I realized just how high his martial arts level was. No wonder he dared to ambush the Crown Prince even while he was ill; those alien creatures were no match for him.

A very skilled fighter jumped onto the lamp above, intending to jump down and subdue him. I've been learning swordsmanship since elementary school, and as soon as he jumped down, I swung the short knife on the table at him, and he fell straight to the ground.

"Ying'er, you're so quick to react now."

"Stop talking nonsense and get rid of them. They're too ugly."

How did these things get in? They were all ugly, each one missing something, and their clothes were filthy.

"Good disciple, you even know to come out and help your master."

"This is absolutely necessary."

The shopkeeper was quite skilled; he kicked several people, but they only lay on the ground for a while before getting up in strange positions. I remembered what they looked like.

"It looks just like a zombie!"

“Ying’er, that’s a movie. They get close to it through some images, but they can’t learn the essence, so that’s why they look like this.”

Xie Yuancheng pulled me aside from another one, then quickly took out his tablet, tapped it a couple of times, and rapidly typed in some symbols. Soon, the entire ship lit up, blinding them, and they hurriedly jumped into the sea.

However, the innkeeper used a net to block the seawater, and they were tied up as soon as they jumped in.

"Great, they're all gone now."

I leaned against the railing, and the shopkeeper jumped onto the sea, pulled up the net, exchanged a few words with Xie Yuancheng, and then jumped onto the skateboard and flew off.

"Shopkeeper, aren't you afraid of running into that big fish that just appeared?"

"Ying'er, your face is covered in sweat, wipe it first." How did Xie Yuancheng manage to carry all these things? When did he hide his handkerchief in his sleeve?

I walked around him, shaking my head: "Have you been practicing some kind of evil magic behind my back?"

"How could that be? We've always lived together and slept in the same bed at night. Why would I hide anything from you?"

I also want to say that those who were unconscious have come out to get some fresh air, so we'll let you off the hook for now and interrogate you again when we get back.

"Strange, why is my arm bleeding?"

"Mine too, but it's not serious."

"I was listening to music, but I don't know where my phone went. Can you guys help me find it?"

It's good that these people are still alive. Luckily, the shopkeeper arrived in time, otherwise they would have been going to outer space to conduct experiments.
