Xie Yuancheng followed me around, a rare apologetic smile on his face: "Ying'er~ don't be angry. I'm just worried that she might harm you. I won't let you do this next time. I'll hide you behind me and pretend to be you to suffer."
"Shut up and get back to what you're doing."

I wanted to push him away, but Xie Yuancheng wouldn't let go. The chairs here are comfortable for one person, but too crowded for two.

"It's nothing good anyway. Ying'er was so good today, I'm going to pamper you~"
"That's enough! You've been acting strangely all day. I'm going to take a bath. You won't even let me play with the kids."
"You should stay away from Ying'er now and focus on her needs."
"What about me?"
"You don't remember?" Xie Yuancheng, that stingy fellow, snorted and sat up straight. "My sister was busy helping out, and you, on the other hand, forgot in the blink of an eye!"
"It's not some kind of support program, is it?" I whispered as I went over to ask. This matter wasn't urgent, and Xie Yuancheng nodded solemnly, "You guys are too hasty. Take your time."
"We can't slow down. The old emperor is about to pass away. We must speed things up."
"So fast?" In my memory, he was only in his forties. Xie Yuancheng said that the emperor was obsessed with cultivating elixirs and had eaten a lot of bad things, so now his health was failing.
"This Mid-Autumn Festival, let's go hiking first, and then do other things."

No wonder it took so long. Looking at the two people in the mirror, I like them more and more. Xi Zhi and Su Ling were at the door, while Ling Wu and Lu Fengjun took them out to play.
"Where is Yan'er?" We went out at 2:45 PM, but Yan'er was still nowhere to be seen.
"I went out with my sister and will be back later."
"She's still so young, how can she go out?"
"Ying'er, you have too many questions." Xie Yuancheng picked me up directly. He rarely wore clothes embroidered with gold thread, and he looked different from usual.
His black hair was all tied up, and he wore a very thin hat, making him look tall and handsome. Xie Yuancheng didn't wear any makeup on his face, except that he had shaped his eyebrows, applied some loose powder, and added a little bit of rouge to his lips.
"Yuancheng~ Cheng, why aren't you wearing any makeup? Let me see!"
"I'll show it to you tonight; I have things to do this afternoon."
When I got to the door, I realized he was going to be busy all day, and he really was. As the Marquis of Anle, he was supposed to be distributing mooncakes to everyone in the city from an open float during such a big festival as the Mid-Autumn Festival.
"There's still so much to do." I sat in the float, thinking we were going straight to the high platform.
"You told me to go to bed early last night and you were criticizing me, but now you know I won't make things difficult for you."
Xie Yuancheng held my hand. People around us were carrying lanterns. This is how it's done every year in Linyang, and also in the capital, but I didn't join in the fun.
When Xizhi and the others grow up, they can handle this matter themselves, and they'll even ride in a bright red car during the New Year. Originally, Xie Yuancheng planned for me to wear my new wedding dress again this year for the New Year, but I misunderstood his meaning, wasting a whole year.
The floats moved very slowly, and at major intersections, they would scatter red packets containing two coins each. I was wearing a beaded hairpin, thankfully without a hat; those gold and silver beaded hats made my head look huge.
This updo was invented by Xie Yuancheng, just to reduce my pain. I kept glancing around; there were many women and young girls looking at me with envy, some with disdain and resentment in their eyes.
"Yuancheng~" I saw a well-dressed woman with delicate features, who was a year or two younger than me, staring intently at Xie Yuancheng.
"Ying'er." When he turned his face, he met my gaze. That wicked man knew what I was thinking at a glance and started speaking close to me.
"Alright, sit down now." The jade ruyi in my hand was still a bit heavy. The float smelled wonderful, but after walking around for so long, I was tired too.
"Ying'er teased me, and she still has the nerve to tell me to leave." He moved even closer, and I was overjoyed. Anyway, we were husband and wife, which had been a fact for several years, so I didn't care about anything.
The floats really didn't stop until evening. As soon as the carriage came to a stop, Xie Yuancheng carried me and we walked on the misty carpet.
