Hearing him say that, I quickly looked over, but I really didn't recognize them.
"I guess some people have grown up, and some have left, but as long as there are people helping you with things, that's fine~"
I spoke very sincerely, but Xie Yuancheng actually said I was just trying to coax him. "Sigh, Ying'er is always so good one minute and so bad the next. I'm so worried about you."

I was drowsy with my head down, and I wouldn't talk to him. I leaned against his chest, feeling so sleepy. Xie Yuancheng wouldn't let me sleep; he kept pinching my waist and pulling my hair.
"Alright~ I'm just sleepy~" Considering how busy he was, I reluctantly said a few words. Xie Yuancheng finally stopped bothering me and deliberately cracked the whip a few times, making the horse run very fast.

I turned to look at him; he had a smug look on his face. My eyes were so sleepy; I'd gone to bed too late last night. I had an idea. He just wanted me to act cute and get some sweetness from him. I turned slightly and hugged him.
"Little Chengcheng~ I'll sit sideways sometimes, it must be uncomfortable for you to hug me like that~"
"No, if that's the case, you can only play at the horse farm in the manor. You're not allowed to cause trouble outside."
"Ugh~ I'm so tired. I want to sit behind you so I can fall asleep while holding you."
"Can't!"
"You don't like me anymore. You're such a fickle man. You even said you'd only ever be good to me for the rest of your life~"
“Ying’er, if I hold you in my arms, even if the horse runs at full speed, you won’t have trouble sleeping.”
"Hehe~" I was waiting for him to say that, so I quickly sat up and leaned against something. There were bare branches all around, and I wasn't in the mood to look at them, but the wind was still blowing and it was cold. "Why do you always deliberately go out when it's cold?"
"It's important for Ying'er to exercise, otherwise I'll have to prepare you up beforehand every time, which isn't good. A strong body will make you more energetic."
"Pah! You're just playing tricks on people!" I rubbed my face. The wind was blowing, and it was really cold. I was instantly wide awake.
He's such a big liar! He should have just said it was too cold and I couldn't fall asleep, or I'd catch a cold. Seeing me open my eyes, Xie Yuancheng laughed even harder. I kicked my feet; they were freezing.
I was furious, but today's journey was really different from usual. We had already passed the city gate, but we still hadn't reached a place to rest. I was cold and tired, and Xie Yuancheng kept teasing me, so I had no choice but to stay awake from morning till evening, and I could only sleep in the makeshift tent.
I clung to Xie Yuancheng and wouldn't let go. "You're doing this on purpose! Did you let the wind in on purpose?"
“Ying’er, the tent isn’t even set up yet, and you’ve already come in. I made this temporary one out of folding things; it’s much easier to carry than the original tent.”
I looked at the tent; the fabric was very waterproof. I told him to hurry up and get the rest done. I had just washed myself in the cold water by the river, and it was freezing.
Xie Yuancheng told me to go outside and set up a few spots. Only then did I see that there were sparks behind me. No wonder I wasn't running fast today and had to walk slowly; I had added a tent.
After he finished getting ready and went out to wash up, I crawled inside. It was so warm as soon as I went in, much better than outside. I used my thick cloak as a blanket and covered myself up to sleep.
"This is great, this tent is perfect for carrying around!" I felt hot even with the cloak over me, I wonder what it's made of.
"Ying'er~" Xie Yuancheng lifted the tent flap and came in. The wind made it cold. "I've been asking people to help me make this since I came back. The tent is warm in winter and cool in summer. The first batch is just finished, and this is the first time we've used it."
"So handsome and well-behaved~" I complimented him before going to sleep. The dry food we ate was simple, but it was better than eating steamed buns with him.
"Come here, I was just holding you tightly, how come you went to sleep on the side?"
"No way, it's too hot~" I said with disgust, and hugged my cloak to stay away from him. It was so hot and stuffy.
"You little rascal, I'm exhausted from trying to coax you all day. I had to watch the road and didn't let you rest. Now that you can sleep, you won't even come with me?"
"The ground was very flat today. We didn't go out through the front door this time, but through another door. That's why you got tired."
I ignored him; I was so sleepy, I was about to fall asleep with my cloak in my arms. Just as I was drifting off to sleep, he crawled over and completely restrained me. It was too late to struggle.
Our tent is a bit far from the people below, and he always bullies people. I'm worried that the tent might break.
"Sleepy~" I called out again, and he finally stopped tickling me. "Alright, alright, I waited for you until so late last night, and we have to travel today. You don't let me sleep during the day, you're such a bad guy!"
“You are the one who is thinking of Ying’er. I’ve always been thinking of Ying’er.” He wanted to hold me while we slept, but it was really too hot. “I’ll open the tent a little so Ying’er won’t feel stuffy.”
He didn't just open it a little, he opened it a lot; as soon as the wind came in, I hugged him tightly and wouldn't let go. Xie Yuancheng was happy, though; he wouldn't refuse his requests next time, and would obediently listen.
“You’re always so mischievous. I have to trip you up before you behave.” Xie Yuancheng closed the tent, and it started to get warm inside again. I held him tightly and buried my face in his chest to sleep.
“Ying’er, it’s only just getting dark. If you fall asleep now, you’ll wake up and make a fuss in the middle of the night.”
I didn't even want to open my eyes. I nodded in agreement with him and told him to let me sleep. I would wake up in the middle of the night and go back to sleep. Anyway, they wouldn't let me sleep during the day.
"I have a way to keep you from waking up in the middle of the night."
