"There's nothing I can do. My wife is too naughty, so I can't let her see too much, otherwise something bad might happen."
"Yuancheng~" I climbed on top of him to grab it, but I didn't get anything and he even tricked me.
The carriage suddenly stopped. Xie Yuancheng raised his eyebrows and smiled at me. I quickly lifted the curtain. It was indeed the place where I had stayed before. I hurriedly told the driver to hurry up. Xie Yuancheng came from behind and pulled me out.
"I want to go back~ I have three kids at home~" I grabbed Xie Yuancheng's hand. No one has lived here for a long time, it must be dusty everywhere.
"No, your parents-in-law are taking care of the children, so there's no need to worry." Xie Yuancheng picked me up and said, "Ying'er, you don't need to worry about dust either, it's very clean."

Xie Yuancheng got out of bed and brought over a bowl of fragrant soup. I don't know how he made it, how it could smell so good. I immediately opened my eyes.
"I knew Ying'er would like it the most, so I'll feed you."
I propped myself up on my hands and waited for him to feed me. After I finished eating, I drowsily went back with him. I hugged my familiar pillow and fell asleep without talking to him. Tomorrow I'll be more energetic and play with the little ones again, but I won't be friends with him.
"Ying'er~ will you wait for me at the gate of the manor tomorrow at noon?"
I was already sleepy when I heard him talking, but I still got up to promise him I would wait for him. Xie Yuancheng then went to sleep. Tomorrow I'll bring my three little ones and make him run wild.
When I woke up this morning, Xie Yuancheng was already gone. I then remembered that he had said he was going to the palace today. I quickly got ready and went to ask my parents.
Only my mother was left in the mansion. My father went to the palace with him. I was relieved to know that they had gone together.
"Ying'er, look, how well-behaved the three children are~" Mother gave them bowls, and apart from Su Ling and Xi Zhi who occasionally needed to be fed, Yu'er could eat by himself.
That's when I was drawn to them. I kept wiping this one and pressing down on that one's bib. The three little ones sitting in a row were so cute.
"Mommy~ You're a little lazybones~" Yu'er said after finishing his meal. I went over and pinched his chubby little hand: "Yu'er is naughty, you're the little lazybones."
"Hehe~ Yu'er is the big brother~"
Talking to him is like trying to reason with a little kid. I ignored his arguments and took the three little ones outside. My mother and the others needed to tidy up inside, so I led them to the grass first.
Yu'er really became the older brother, teaching the two little ones how to make a rocking horse and even demonstrating how to drive a small wooden car. It turned out that Su Ling and Xi Zhi didn't quite understand these new toys, so they stared wide-eyed at them.
"Su Ling, why aren't you playing with your brothers?" Yu'er was teaching Xi Zhi to drive a small wooden car, while Su Ling stood by, scared.
"Mommy~ I'm scared~" Su Ling hugged my neck, looking around, her little head turning back and forth.
"Don't be afraid, little girl. Mommy will take you to play, okay?"
“Okay~” Su Ling hesitated for a moment, but still followed me over.
Yu'er and Xizhi had a great time. When I carried Su Ling upstairs, her eyes popped out of their sockets. But when I carried her out, she actually smiled.
"Mother, my sister is crying~" Xi Zhi pointed at Su Ling's tear stains, her little face scrunched up.
"Su Ling, let's go sit somewhere else and watch your brothers play~"
She immediately pulled me by the hand. It was so funny; she was crying just a moment ago, and now she was all smiles. That's how kids are.
Yu'er gave the little wooden cart to Xizhi. When he was this age, he would run around everywhere and drive the little wooden cart around outside.
"Yu'er~ You're the older brother, come tell your little sister a story so she can play with you~"
I saw Yu'er clapping his hands in place, so I called him over. Yu'er came skipping over, and when he saw Su Ling's flushed face, he immediately frowned.
"Little snotty-nosed girl~" He likes Su Ling all the time, so why did he give her a nickname?
"Yu'er, don't you always want your little sister with you wherever you go? Why are you saying that to her? Be careful she gets upset~"
"I want a little brother, not a snotty little thing!"
Yu'er ran off as soon as she finished speaking. This fickle girl, one minute she likes her little sister, the next she only wants her little brother. I saw that Su Ling was about to cry again, so I quickly picked her up and brought her over.
"My little darling, you won't be pretty if you cry~"
"Hehe~" Su Ling laughed after hearing what I said, even though she still had tear stains.
After just one morning with them, I realized how amazing it is for a mother to take care of three children. I only played with them for a short while before I started to get annoyed; none of them are easy to manage.
If there's even the slightest disagreement, they'll push and hit each other, or even sit on the ground crying loudly. Before you can even comfort them, they'll immediately start laughing.
"Ying'er~" Mother said, taking Qiao'er with her. "Is it hard for you to take care of them?"
"Mom~ They're so young and immature, and so naughty~" I wiped my sweat with a handkerchief. If Xie Yuancheng came, he would definitely be exhausted too.
"You were just like them when you were little, a tiny little thing, but you knew how to act like a little adult, and you did it very steadily. You wanted to play with this, but when I gave it to you, you didn't want it."
"How could I have been so naughty?" I have no recollection of it at all; Mom must have remembered it wrong.
“Look at them, and you’ll know how naughty they were when they were little. You can’t disbelieve me, your mother raised you all the way.”
I held Yu'er in my arms and poked his little face: "Yu'er, tell Grandma that Mommy isn't naughty~"
"Mommy is a little lazybones~" This naughty boy, I held him in my arms and wouldn't let him get down. Yu'er called for his little brother a few times, and Xizhi actually came to help.
"Alright, alright, stop catching me, go play~" Now that they're on good terms, Su Ling doesn't have to come along anymore.
Su Ling is quiet and reserved. When she saw them holding hands, she stood there biting her fingers and watching. I took her to see, but she became uncomfortable after seeing them, so I just let her play.
Since I had some rare free time, I gave each of the little ones a small broom, and they started sweeping the grass while playing. Su Ling stood a little distance away from them, sweeping carefully, worried that they might hit her.
"Mom~ Su Ling seems a bit introverted?"
