A week after Zhou Zhaodi's incident, Tang Yiyi and Xu Yan went to the city for their first pregnancy check-up.
In the hospital, the doctor put the stethoscope on her belly and listened for a long time, frowning and then relaxing. Tang Yiyi and Xu Yan were both sweating as they watched.
