Green and beautiful peaks stand tall, and wisps of white clouds float to and fro between the peaks with the light movement of the mountain breeze.
The screams of Lord Mouse could be heard in the air. He was riding a colorful golden pheasant, driving the poor pheasant to flap its wings and fly around like a bee between the beautiful peaks. From time to time, he let the pheasant fly over the berry bushes, and the slender tail would nimbly roll up the berries and stuff them into its mouth with great enjoyment.
Higher in the sky, tens of thousands of ferocious birds exuded a rich and powerful demonic aura. They spread their wings, the smallest of which was more than ten feet wide, and swooped down and flapped in the turbulent air currents at high altitudes, honing their aerial killing skills.
The shadows of the ferocious birds swept across the ground, across the beautiful peaks, across the rivers and streams, across the dozen or so waterfalls that roared down from the tops of the mountains like white dragons, and across the winding bluestone roads between the peaks.
Chu Tian was holding a medicine basket in his left hand and a small medicine hoe in his right hand, walking at an easy pace on the mountain path paved with bluestone slabs.
Luo'er took off her luxurious palace skirt and put on a simple lavender skirt with small floral patterns. She tied her hair into a simple bun, looking like an ordinary country girl, carrying a backpack and jumping behind Chu Tian.
Sometimes her steps were a little too big, and Chu Tian walked a little slower, and she almost bumped her head against Chu Tian's back. She hurriedly stopped her steps, and her gentle and fragrant breath was exhaled on the back of Chu Tian's neck, warm and itchy.
At the bottom of the winding mountain path, on the hillsides on both sides of the valley river, groups of girls shuttled through the densely foliaged medicinal fields. Their movements were unfamiliar, but they were extremely serious in trimming the branches and leaves that were not growing well or growing too vigorously for the medicinal herbs in the fields.
The girls smiled cheerfully, their rosy faces emitting the unique glow of youth.
They smiled carefreely, their steps light and agile, just like a group of happy little pigeons flying in the sky.
They were the drummers and swordsmen that Luo'er had brought to Hancui Cliff, and they were all Luo'er's personal maids. In Luo'er's palace on the top of Tianzhu Mountain, these girls were very cautious, and were constrained by the strict, cold, ruthless, and terrible rules like wooden figures.
They were not allowed to cry or laugh, and every step they took was strictly regulated, as was the speed and volume of their speech. In that magnificent palace, they were just a group of human-shaped furnishings, a group of human-shaped tools, quietly decorating the lonely, cold building with their youth.
But here, they are free.
Chu Tian asked Chu Yaya, Li Linger and Li Xiuer to bring the disciples of Han Cuiya to teach these maids how to grow medicinal herbs, how to manage the medicinal fields, and also taught them how to pick tea, how to raise silkworms, how to embroider, how to sew clothes, and also taught them how to run happily and how to laugh unrestrainedly!
In short, Chu Tian’s disciples taught these girls how to live a normal life like a real, flesh-and-blood girl, to enjoy life, the people and things around them, the mountains and rivers of Handui Cliff, and every flower and tree here.
The valley was filled with silver bell-like laughter. Occasionally, a few girls looked up and saw Chu Tian and Luo Er walking one after the other on the path on the mountainside. These girls raised their hands, waved and laughed enthusiastically at Chu Tian and Luo Er, and greeted them intimately!
Before, in Luo'er's palace, which maid would dare to be so 'ignorant' and 'disgraceful'?
If they dared to do so, the maids who were responsible for Luo'er's daily discipline would quietly call for guards to make these girls disappear forever without a sound, as if they had never existed in the world.
But here, they laughed, they shouted, beads of sweat appeared on their foreheads, and they dared to wave and say hello to their little masters, fully expressing the joy and enthusiasm in their hearts.
Luo'er's little face was rosy. She stood on tiptoe with a smile and waved to the girls!
There was also a trace of sweat on her forehead. She deliberately suppressed all her strength and kept herself in a state no different from that of an ordinary person.
She could clearly feel the wind around her, clearly see the mountains and rivers around her, hear the roar of waterfalls near and far, and even smell the rich fragrance of wild flowers all over the mountains!
She suppressed all her strength, dispelled the powerful and closed protective divine light, and dispelled all the magical powers, secret techniques, prohibitions and protective devices that affected her five senses, and used her own five senses to touch the world with her whole heart!
Everything is alive!
This world is so clear, so cheerful, so alive, with a strong smell of grass and soil!
Looking at the maids laughing happily on the hillside below, and recalling how they were as rigid as wooden figures in her own palace, Luo'er smiled more brightly and became happier. She waved her arms vigorously a few times, and hurriedly trotted two steps to catch up with Chu Tian who had already walked more than ten feet away.
"Oh, it would be great if that old guy Zi Wanzhong died in outer space!" Luo'er murmured heartlessly with a curl of her lips.
Ah, if Zi Wanzhong and the old guys of the Zi clan all died in the outer world, there would be no one to restrain her, no one to discipline her. Let her live happily in Hancui Cliff for the rest of her life!
This kind of life is what she dreams of.
Not luxurious enough, not rich enough, not noble enough, not majestic enough, but truly living, living free from all shackles.
Luo'er narrowed her eyes and followed Chu Tian briskly with small steps. She suddenly raised her voice and sang the tea-picking tune she had learned from Chu Yaya a few days ago. The brisk and melodious singing echoed between the peaks, and wisps of white clouds floated around. Occasionally, Chu Tian and she would walk into the white clouds, and the fine mist would stain their faces, wet and cool. Luo'er's singing stopped abruptly, and was followed by a brisk and pleasant laughter.
There were two beautiful peaks in front of us, almost shoulder to shoulder, and a bluestone path passed through the gap between the two mountains, which was no more than ten feet wide.
On the hilltop on the right, a stream of white water as thick as a water jar was splashing down. The mountain wind was blowing hard, and a large amount of water mist was rising. The sun shone on the water mist, and a round rainbow just covered the bluestone path. Chu Tian and Luo'er walked through the rainbow circle.
Going around the mountain, there is a green meadow in front. Several red fruits with emerald green leaves are quietly growing in the cracks of the mountain rocks.
A black tiger and a white python were quietly crawling on the grass, watching over the red fruits so that they would not be destroyed by birds.
Seeing Chu Tian and Luo'er coming over, the black tiger and the white python stood up, shaking their heads and tails, and saluted the two with low howls.
