Chapter 179 Eyes Gouged Out

The ancestral home of the Yang family.

"Tianbao! My Tianbao!"

As Old Madam Yang watched her grandson Yang Tianbao lying on the bed with his face covered in blood, calling out his name in a heart-wrenching pain, her eyes rolled back for a moment.

Several doctors were gathered around his bed, treating him.

Yang Tianbao was unconscious at this moment.

One of his eyes was covered in blood, revealing a bloody pit; it was so empty that it sent chills down one's spine.

Blood was everywhere; in such a state, it was hard to believe that the person was still breathing.

Old Madam Yang was too weak to stand and could only stand by the support of her two maids.

"You must save him for me! If you can save my Tianbao, my Duke's Mansion is willing to reward you with ten thousand taels of silver!"

Old Madam Yang looked at them with a sinister expression:

"If you can't be saved, then you have no reason to live!"

The doctors in the room were trembling with fear, their faces pale. They hurriedly treated Yang Tianbao's wounds, performed acupuncture, and prescribed medicine, leaving no stone unturned.

Early this morning, a servant rushed into Yang Tianbao's courtyard. After saying something, the two of them ran out excitedly without even having breakfast.

Who knew that when he came back, he would have changed into this state.

Just as Old Madam Yang finished her breakfast, a servant rushed in to inform her that Yang Tianbao's eye had been gouged out and his fate was unknown.

She couldn't take it and fainted on the spot.

The maids were terrified and quickly gave her first aid. After she woke up, she insisted that the maids help her to Yang Tianbao's room.

Upon seeing Yang Tianbao's miserable state, she almost choked.

At this moment, Old Madam Yang said with a frosty expression, "Bring in the servant boy who serves Tianbao!"

Just then, Yang Yuechan arrived.

When she saw Yang Tianbao's appearance, she screamed in terror.

Old Madam Yang turned to look at her granddaughter, her eyes cold.

Yang Yuechan looked at her grandmother with tears in her eyes, unaware that something was wrong with her grandmother today.

She continued, "Grandmother, it must have been the Tang family who did it. They're taking revenge..."

"Smack!"

A heavy slap landed on Yang Yuechan's face, interrupting her words.

Yang Yuechan covered her face with both hands, looking at her grandmother in disbelief. The pain on her face reminded her that this was not her imagination.

Isn't my grandmother usually the one who loves me the most?

Why did you hit her? Although you didn't hit the injured half of her face, she could feel her face going numb from the blow!

This shows that her grandmother used all her strength to hit her.

With reddened eyes, Yang Yuechan looked at Old Madam Yang and tearfully questioned her:

"Grandmother, what did Yuechan do wrong? Why did you hit me?"

The servants in the room were so frightened that they knelt on the ground and dared not utter a sound.

Old Madam Yang, panting, pointed at her:

"How dare you say that if you hadn't provoked the Tang family, would Tianbao have ended up like this?"

"It's your own fault for being so shameless! You had the nerve to fall for her, but she didn't even like you back, and you even framed her wife. Now your brother has been harmed like this, who else can you blame but yourself!"

Old Madam Yang stared intently at her, each word landing heavily on Yang Yuechan's heart.

Yang Yuechan gaped in disbelief. Her grandmother had actually said that about her!

She cried out in a hoarse voice:

"Enough!"

"It was you who told me to get close to Tang Jian, you were the one who said Tang Jian's wife was not presentable and that Tang Jian would definitely divorce her! It was also you who sent someone to assassinate his wife!"

"Now it's my fault?"
