Chapter 190 Kissing Game

Those present breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing Dr. Zhang's words.

Dr. Zhang: "The child's temperature has gradually come down, so there's no need to prescribe any medicine. Remember, all medicines have some side effects. Just give the child some light food when you get home."

Lin Zao knew that the fever reducer had worked, and since Dr. Zhang had said that everything was fine, she could rest assured.

He hugged Ya Ya tightly, "Thank you, Dr. Zhang!"

Dr. Zhang waved his hand: "Alright, alright, you all need to leave now, you've blocked my clinic."

Lin Zao nodded, picked up the child, and turned around. Sure enough, there were quite a few people standing by the roadside, craning their necks and looking at Lin Zao and the others, wanting to know what had happened.

Lin Zao didn't stop walking. With a swift step, she boarded the carriage, followed closely by Xiao Bao and Hu Tou.

Knowing that their sister was alright, they smiled again.

The carriage sped all the way back to the general's mansion.

When we got home, Ya Ya's temperature had returned to normal, but she was still unconscious, probably due to the medication.

Xiao Bao wasn't in a hurry to return to the palace; he insisted on waiting for his younger sister to wake up.

Lin Zao didn't refuse and led them directly to Ya Ya's room.

When Tang's mother learned that her granddaughter had gone out and returned sick, she urged Aunt Ren to take her to see Ya Ya.

Tang's mother: "What's wrong? Why did Yaya suddenly get a fever? Have you taken her to see a doctor?"

"Mom, we just came back from Doctor Zhang's. Yaya is fine. Doctor Zhang said Yaya doesn't even need to take any medicine, so don't worry."

Hearing Lin Zao say this, Tang's mother breathed a sigh of relief, put her hands together, closed her eyes, and prayed to the Bodhisattva.

Tang's mother was determined to stay by Ya Ya's bedside until she woke up before she could feel at ease.

Lin Zao couldn't very well refuse.

Ya Ya bears the greatest responsibility for what happened today. If she had killed that person back then, none of this would have happened.

Lin Zao was filled with regret and self-reproach, looking at Ya Ya with heartache in her eyes.

After more than half an hour, Ya Ya finally woke up.

Seeing her grandmother, mother, and brothers looking at her with concern, Ya Ya still didn't know what had happened.

I only remember that I was very sleepy at the time, and I fell asleep in my mother's soft embrace.

Why did everyone look at me with such surprise when I woke up?

A little shy from everyone's stares, Ya Ya's face turned a healthy red, making her look incredibly cute.

Tang's mother couldn't help but start praying to Buddha again, "Thank the Bodhisattva, I can finally rest easy."

Lin Zao also picked up Ya Ya and kissed her, her eyes full of joy.

Ya Ya was stunned by Lin Zao's kiss. This was the first time her mother had ever kissed her like this, but it felt so good, she liked it!

Ya Ya squinted her crescent-shaped eyes and gave Lin Zao a cheerful kiss in return.

Lin Zao paused for a moment, then smiled. It seemed the child really enjoyed this closeness.

She couldn't help but kiss her twice more, and the room was immediately filled with the laughter of the mother and daughter.

Tiger Head, standing nearby, watched his mother and sister play a game of kissing each other with longing eyes, feeling a pang of sadness in his heart.

Perhaps because Tiger Head's gaze was too focused, Lin Zao felt his gaze and turned to look at him.

She reached out and pulled Tiger Head into her arms, then kissed him on the forehead with a loud 'plop'.

Tiger Head was stunned for a moment, then burst into laughter.

Little Bao, watching from the side, was getting a little eager to try. Was his aunt going to kiss him too?

Lin Zao chuckled at this, but simply reached out and ruffled his hair, without kissing him as he wished.

After all, the child is older and more sensible, so it's not appropriate to be so close.
