Unfortunately, Ya Ya was still nestled in Lin Zao's arms, sobbing softly, ignoring Tang Jian completely.
Tang Jian was sweating profusely, at a loss for what to do. He looked at Lin Zao, who also sighed in helplessness.
Tang Jian asked anxiously, "Father will take you with him, okay? Ya Ya, please forgive Father, okay?"
Lin Zao glared at him and said, "Where's your integrity?"
Ya Ya's crying stopped abruptly, and she turned around to look at Tang Jian.
"Is what Father said true?"
Tang Jian regretted his words, but when he saw his daughter's red eyes and pitiful look at him, he immediately forgot all about his position.
"Really! Don't you believe what Father says?"
"Great! I love Daddy the most!" Ya Ya instantly turned from Lin Zao's arms and jumped into Tang Jian's arms.
Tiger Head stopped crying, got up from the ground, and dusted himself off.
Lin Zao looked at her empty hands, then at the loving father and daughter, and was speechless.
Ya Ya felt Lin Zao's gaze, looked at her and 'humphed', then hugged Tang Jian and started acting coquettishly again.
Lin Zao: So now she's caught in the middle, hated by everyone?
If she had known this would happen, she would have agreed earlier and none of this would have happened.
Tang Jian probably knew that what he had done was a bit of a rip-off for his wife, so he didn't dare to look Lin Zao in the eye and could only pretend not to know and tease his daughter.
Lin Zao snorted angrily and turned to go back to her room.
Tang Jian looked at his daughter with a chill running down his spine. He had appeased the little one but offended the big one. What should he do?
Ya Ya stared back at Tang Jian with her bright, sparkling eyes and gave him a cute smile.
Tang Jian was at a loss for words, both amused and exasperated. They were all his ancestors!
When Lin Zao returned to her room, she was still a little angry. Didn't she want her two children to stay by her side all the time?
They were worried that if they weren't watching the children closely enough, something might happen to them, and they wouldn't have time to regret it.
Now look what happened, she's become the heartless villain!
The door creaked softly.
Lin Zao knew who it was, and angrily turned her head away from the door.
A moment later, someone sat down in the chair next to her.
Tang Jian reached out and put his hand on Lin Zao's shoulder. "Alright, it's all my fault. If you're unhappy, just hit me a few times. Don't be angry."
Lin Zao stood up abruptly, broke free from his hand, and walked a few steps to sit on the edge of the bed, keeping a distance from him.
Tang Jian immediately and shamelessly sat down on the edge of the bed and forcefully pried Lin Zao over with both hands.
"It's all my fault, my wife! Don't worry, since I promised to take care of the two children, I will make sure they are safe and sound and won't be harmed in any way!"
At this point, Tang Jian spoke firmly. His love for the children was no less than that for Lin Zao. Now that he had made his decision, he would certainly make all the necessary preparations.
"You're the most powerful! How could I possibly control you, General Tang!"
Lin Zao is eccentric and unpredictable.
Tang Jian looked intently at Lin Zao, then took her hand and pressed it against his heart:
"You are my wife, you can do whatever you want with me, my body and soul are entirely under your control!"
Lin Zao was furious and tried to pull her hand away, but couldn't: "You...you have no shame?"
"I only want you! Don't be angry, okay?"
Tang Jian deliberately lowered his voice and spoke in a husky and sexy tone. He knew that Lin Zao would become very sensitive whenever she heard him speak like that, especially during their intimate moments.
There was no other way; his wife was angry, so he had to resort to seduction.
