Chapter 330 Harvest

If they bring so much stuff back, people will find out eventually, and they won't be able to hide it anymore. It's better to bring people over openly.

It's almost Chinese New Year, so we can bring the things from the valley back and have a lively celebration.

When the couple returned to the lychee grove, Benyue had already eaten her fill and was resting on the ground.

Seeing its owner approaching, Benyue ignored him, simply swishing its tail leisurely.

Lin Zao took out many burlap sacks from her spatial storage and handed them all to Tang Jian.

After all, if she picked them herself, she could just throw them into her spatial storage, while Tang Jian would need something to store them.

Tang Jian took the sack, lightly pushed off the tree, and effortlessly stood on the lychee tree, reaching out to start picking.

Because the lychees were growing very densely, Tang Jian simply broke them off one by one, and soon the sack was full. He then lightly tossed it on the ground and started filling the next sack.

Lin Zao also nimbly climbed up the tree, doing the same thing as Tang Jian. However, she broke off the lychee in her hand and it disappeared. She didn't need to pretend; she was even faster than Tang Jian.

They couldn't reach the lychee trees because they were too far away, so the two of them chopped them down with knives. Anyway, these lychee trees had never been pruned, so cutting off some branches wouldn't make a difference.

The couple worked for most of the day to pick all the lychees, and they didn't even have time for lunch. However, they were full from eating lychees and weren't hungry at all.

However, Gale and Black Wind caught a few rabbits and pheasants outside and brought them to Lin Zao, asking her to help roast them for them to eat.

The couple had originally planned to pick some other fruit, but now that their two furry friends were hungry, Lin Zao had no choice but to feed them first.

After the two children finished eating and ran off to play, Lin Zao and Tang Jian continued picking fruit, catching fish, breaking bamboo shoots, and picking bamboo fungus. However, they picked very little of these, since it would be inconvenient for them to take too much with them.

As for Chinese medicinal herbs, the two of them didn't know anything about them, so they just let them grow there and would ask Doctor Zhang and the others to come and pick them themselves when the time came.

The two men looked at the sacks on the ground, which were full of burlap, and breathed a sigh of relief.

The feeling of a bountiful harvest is truly wonderful.

Seeing that it was getting late and the two of them had to rush back to pick up their child from school, Lin Zao waved her hand, and all the sacks on the ground were put into her spatial storage.

They attracted Benyue and two wolves that had flown away, and the couple took them down the mountain.

When she could vaguely see the manor, Lin Zao took out all the things she had picked from her spatial storage, and also placed the giant python aside.

Seeing that there was no problem, Tang Jian nodded to Lin Zao, blew his whistle, and in less than three breaths, several inconspicuous people dressed in gray clothes appeared.

The group bowed respectfully to Tang Jian and Lin Zao, then stood silently by, showing no sign of surprise or doubt towards the object on the ground or the giant python.

“Go down to the village and call some people up to bring all these things back.”

One of them left silently.

Lin Zao looked at the men in gray and knew that they were the bodyguards following behind them. When they entered the mountain earlier, Tang Jian made a gesture that signaled them to stay here and wait.

When Lin Zao entered the valley last time, she used the same action to leave the guards behind, so she knew very well.

Tang Jian did this in order to avoid exposing the reason for Lin Zao's space.

Although these guards are absolutely loyal and would rather die than betray their master, the fewer people who know, the safer they are.
