Lin Zao saw that Ya Ya was drooling, and he chuckled as he pulled her into his arms before addressing Prince Cheng and his wife:
"Your Highness and Princess, please eat now."
Without any hesitation, King Cheng and his wife picked up their chopsticks and headed straight for a plate of grilled fish.
When the children saw that Cheng Wang had started eating, they couldn't wait to start eating as well.
"It's so delicious! The fish is tender and juicy with a slightly charred aroma, and the numbing and spicy flavor is a perfect match!"
King Cheng began to comment again, and the people at the table nodded in agreement while eating, not having time to look up.
Princess Cheng and her husband were a perfect match:
"These spicy and numbing-spicy grilled fish, though only one word different, each has its own unique flavor. Madam Tang is indeed a skilled cook. I think if this grilled fish were sold at Zuixiaolou, it would be just as popular as hot pot."
Lin Zao and Princess Cheng exchanged a glance, their eyes flashing with tacit understanding, having already reached an agreement in secret.
Wei Yu handed the bowl in her hand to the maid behind her: "Give me another bowl of rice!"

When King Cheng noticed that Tang Jian was eating pickled fish, he curiously picked up a piece of fish and tasted it.
I was instantly won over after just one bite; this dish is just as delicious as grilled fish.
Upon hearing Cheng Wang's description, the others at the table instantly shifted their attention from the grilled fish to the sauerkraut fish, and their chopsticks unconsciously turned.
Soon, there was no more talking at the table, only the sound of people eating rice and vegetables.
After all the food on the table was eaten, everyone leaned back in their chairs, satisfied.
"My aunt's cooking is still the best!"
Wei Yu made the final decision, and everyone present unconsciously nodded in agreement.
"These dishes are quite strong in flavor. It's okay to eat them a few times, but if you eat them often, they will feel too greasy and are not good for your stomach."
People in ancient times ate a relatively light diet, and suddenly eating such oily and spicy food could easily upset their stomachs.
