Although the harvest was exciting, everyone was exhausted after a busy day.
Liu Yuhan gave the younger ones some snacks as a reward. Her younger siblings were incredibly hardworking, following the adults around all day without complaint. Xiao Si and Xiao Wu's faces were red from the sun.
Liu Yuhan also washed up early, went into his space, set the alarm and went to sleep.
The next day was busy again, with more people from the village coming to help. A lot had been dug by mid-afternoon.
"Sister Han, Xiao Si and Xiao Wu, I'm here again!"
Liu Yuhan was helping Xiaosi and Xiaowu wipe the sweat off their faces and put on their bamboo hats with his back to them when he heard Huo Nan's happy shouts from behind him.
"Brother Honan, why are you here? We are digging potatoes and sweet potatoes."
"Xiao Nan, you're here. Who are you with?"
"Sister Han, my grandmother and my brother and sister-in-law are here. They're in Huo Er's carriage and are still in the county town. I rode here first. My grandmother said we came here so suddenly without saying hello and she was afraid we might have disturbed you, so I came to see if you were busy first."
"It's okay, Xiaonan. You, your grandmother, and your brother and sister-in-law are welcome to visit us. We are preparing to go back now, but my house is in a mess right now because of the busy farming season. You can tell your grandmother that if she doesn't mind, she is welcome to come anytime."
"Okay, Sister Han, my grandmother is very easy to get along with, she won't mind. I'll go look for them first."
"Okay, then be careful. See you later."
Liu Yuhan greeted his grandfather and father, then took Baizhi and Banxia back home first.
