Song Jin roared, his face gloomy.
"How dare you yell at me?!"
Zhang Caihong ran back to the room angrily and slammed the door.
The old wooden door shook, and a layer of white dust fell off.
"Grandson, look at her. What do you think she looks like?"
Liu Cuihua complained to Song Jin, and then continued to curse Zhang Caihong in the room through the door.
Uncle Song had already fled to the town after seeing the locust plague. Aunt Song was sleeping with her little son in the room, and she didn't dare to come out when she heard the noise.
The whole house was filled with the scolding of Liu Cuihua and Zhang Caihong. The quarrelsome family made Song Jin feel disgusted.
"Granny, stop talking."
Song Jin lowered his head, lowered his eyes, and uttered four words coldly.
Liu Cuihua's cursing stopped abruptly. She looked at her grandson in surprise and found that he had a gloomy face. She immediately restrained herself.
Song Jin frowned, walked over and pushed the door, only to find that it was locked. He immediately became even more depressed.
"What a plague."
Liu Cuihua also saw it, and while cursing under her breath, she took out a copper key and opened the door.
As soon as Song Jingang opened the door and stepped into the room, a pillow flew towards him and hit him in the face.
Zhang Caihong snorted, "What are you doing here? Get out!"
Veins bulged on the back of Song Jin's hands. He clenched and unclenched his fists. It took him a while to calm down and loosen his hands.
"Don't be angry, I was wrong. I shouldn't have yelled at you."
He stood aside, speaking softly, but his voice was flat.
"Hmph." Zhang Caihong lay on the bed, turned to the other side, and faced the door with her back.
Song Jin stood there for a long time. Just when Zhang Caihong was about to turn around and look at him suspiciously, Song Jin walked to the bed and climbed onto the bed without taking off his shoes.
"Hmph, why are you coming up here? You're helping your grandma like this, why don't you go sleep with her?" Zhang Caihong snorted again when she saw him coming up.
"What nonsense are you talking about?"
"Did I say anything nonsense? Your grandma said I was lazy, that I lost a hundred dollars, and that I couldn't get pregnant. So, how can I get pregnant by myself?"
"My grandma likes to nag. Don't take it personally. I will find a way to get the work points back."
Song Jin smiled and coaxed him.
"As for the matter of having a baby... I was just too exhausted from work. I'm sure I'll be fine tonight."
Song Jin reached his hand under the quilt, and after a while, Zhang Caihong's attitude began to soften.
After finishing, Zhang Caihong felt much happier.
Seeing this, Song Jin said: "Alas, after the locust plague, the days ahead will be difficult. If I had money, I would definitely stock up on a lot of food."
Song Jin said as he observed her expression.
"That's right. I'm most afraid of flying insects. I'm really scared today." Zhang Caihong immediately went over and hugged him tightly, acting coquettishly.
Song Jin's body stiffened, and he quietly used the quilt to separate them.
"Wife, don't you have a gold necklace? Just sell it to exchange for food. I spent a lot of effort to find a way to exchange for food."
Zhang Caihong pouted and said, "Don't even think about it. My parents told me that I must never sell my dowry. My dowry is my foundation and it can be used in emergencies in the future."
"The natural disaster has already come, isn't it urgent enough? Besides, after the disaster is over, I will definitely buy you a bigger gold necklace." Song Jin continued to coax.
"It just won't work."
Song Jin's face immediately turned cold: "Oh, you still want to compete with Wu Xing, Wu Xing is willing to give everything for Song Wen, but you can't even give up a gold necklace."
He turned over and faced her with his cold back. Zhang Caihong wanted to hug him, but he pushed her away forcefully.
Seeing his resolute attitude, Zhang Caihong's persistence was suddenly shaken.
"Can't you just let me think about it?"
(ps: Tonight, the Tomato authors were all paying attention to Pelosi's plane, and basically didn't write anything. I was almost mad, so the content of this chapter is a little short.)
