There was silence in the main room.
There was only the sound of three people breathing.
Wen Dafu clicked the match, and the light flickered and a wisp of smoke rose.
"Dad, do you want to ask about Ning'an Lane or something else?" Wen Guan pondered for a moment and spoke frankly.
Wen Dafu took a puff of his cigarette and said, "I want to know everything."
He had some guesses in his mind, but judging from his daughter's expression, his guesses were probably not deep enough.
Wen Jianguo kept his lips tightly shut and looked at the ground with his head lowered.
"Dad, I was the one who took my eldest brother to Ning'an Lane, and we bought the scallion pancakes there last time." Wen Wan told him everything.
Wen Dafu thought about it and realized that this was the case. "Jianguo, you didn't even mention it the last time you came back."
"Well, since you're not going to town, what's the point of me saying it?" Wen Jianguo raised his head righteously.
Wen Dafu choked and said, "You idiot kid, why are you taking us there today?" Don't think he didn't understand.
Wen Jianguo touched his nose, feeling a little guilty, "It's just a coincidence, and I'm not taking you there to harm you. It's all for everyone's good. It will give you one more place to go when you want to buy things in the future."
"I'm afraid you want to sell things, not buy things." Wen Dafu said sarcastically.
Wen Jianguo was struck straight to the heart and fell silent.
Wen Guan's eyes rolled. It was only a matter of time. Since it couldn't be concealed anymore, then there was no need to hide it.
"Dad, my brother and I want to do business."
This simple sentence made Wen Dafu furious, "Xiao Wan, what did your mother and I tell you last time?"
I originally thought it was Jianguo's idea alone, and Xiaowan was involved.
It seems that Xiaowan Station is in the lead, followed by Jianguo.
Wen Wan didn't feel guilty at all, "We haven't started selling yet."
Wen Dafu was so angry that he almost laughed. It seemed that his daughter didn't think there was anything wrong with her at all.
"Dad, stop laughing. If you want to scold me, just do it. I'm listening." Wen Wan said bluntly.
Wen Dafu stood up, pointed at Wen Wan, then at Wen Jianguo, and opened and closed his mouth.
After waiting for a minute or two, Wen Dafu asked with a heavy face, "Xiao Wan, tell me honestly, if I didn't ask you today, would you not tell me?"
"Yes." Wen Wan nodded decisively.
Wen Jianguo also echoed: "Yes."
It’s over, muttering quietly: Even if I tell you, you will just get angry and curse.
Wen Dafu slammed the table and growled, "Wen Jianguo, if you have something to say, just say it. Don't keep it to yourself."
"Dad, don't be angry. Haven't we told you now?" Wen Wan persuaded.
Wen Dafu seemed to have lost all his strength and sat down on the stool.
"You went to the mountain people to exchange red dates and fungus for those things. Do you want to set up a stall to sell them?"
Wen Jianguo curled his lips and said, "Dad, you can't just set up a stall whenever you want."
"Dad, what my eldest brother said is true. The mountain products we exchanged were all supplies with people in the town, such as soap, cloth and other things." Wen Wan added an explanation.
Wen Dafu was a little unconvinced, "Are you telling the truth?"
Don't blame him for not trusting people. It was his son and daughter who teamed up to cause trouble, and he had to get to the bottom of it.
"Dad, if you don't believe me, come with me to work tomorrow and ask those street vendors." Wen Guan's tone sounded a little sad.
Wen Dafu's frowning brows were smoothed as if they had been ironed. "So what do you do with the supplies you exchanged?"
