Chapter 60 Spend 60
Autumn is gradually falling, and the New Year is approaching with the falling snow.
Tang Ximian curled up in the soft milky white sofa that was exclusively used in Si Yankai's office, pinching potato chips between her fingers, but her eyes were fixed on the floor-to-ceiling window - the entire commercial street was dressed in red New Year's costumes, giant lanterns swayed gently in the cold wind, and the New Year's golden songs played on a loop on the car radio came in through the gaps in the glass.
He suddenly became interested and blew a puff of white air towards the misty floor-to-ceiling window, while his fingertips deftly outlined a small heart shape.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Si Yankai standing up from his desk, and the rustling sound of his black suit pants scraping against the carpet came closer and closer.
Before he could withdraw his hand, a large hand with distinct joints had already covered the back of his hand, drawing a larger heart in the mist, tightly wrapping his little thoughts in it.
"Childish." Tang Ximian tilted her head and smiled secretly, but did not avoid the other party's hug.
Si Yankai's chin rubbed lightly against the top of his head, and the scent of cedar mixed with ink enveloped the two of them. The warm yellow light of the office reflected the overlapping figures on the glass full of love, echoing with the "Congratulations and Good Luck" that came one after another outside the window with a different kind of tenderness.
"How are you planning to celebrate the New Year this year?"
"Emm, I'll stay at home with grandma on the first day of the new year, and I'll probably go to my uncle's house to pay New Year's greetings on the second day." Tang Ximian thought carefully and answered.
Si Yankai nodded, his tone a little coquettish: "That's great. It would be even better if you could arrange for me to join as well."
"I was always out when you came to see me. Just come if you want. You're almost more familiar with grandma and uncle than I am anyway."
Tang Ximian turned around and inadvertently met the gaze of his boss Yan Kai.
Under the warm yellow light, he realized that Si Yankai's eyelashes were so long and thick, casting a gentle shadow under his eyes.
"Your eyelashes are so long!" Tang Ximian couldn't help but exclaim in admiration.
"Is that so?" Si Yankai raised his eyebrows.
"Yes, see for yourself."
Tang Ximian moved forward as he spoke, with his nose almost touching Si Yankai's face.
Si Yankai raised a wicked smile and suddenly picked up Tang Ximian.
"Si Yankai, what are you doing?" Tang Ximian was so scared that she hugged his neck.
"Stop looking, come on, I'll take you out for some fun today."
Si Yankai said this and walked out the door.
"Is this true?" Tang Ximian still couldn't believe it.
"It's more real than silver." Si Yankai smiled and pinched his face.
Even when he sat in the passenger seat, Tang Ximian still felt as if he was in a dream: "Did he really skip work?"
"Well, actually I have nothing to do this afternoon. I've already finished everything else."
Si Yankai started the car and turned to look at him, "Is there anywhere you want to go?"
Tang Ximian tilted his head and thought for a moment, then shook his head: "It seems not."
"Then take you to the mall? Buy some New Year's goods?"
"Okay, let's go!" Tang Ximian fastened his seat belt, his eyes gleaming with anticipation.
The automatic door of the supermarket opened, and the warm fragrance mixed with the aroma of New Year's goods hit me in the face.
Under the bright red blessing pendant, Tang Ximian reached out and took two boxes of Ferrero Rocher from the shelf. "Isn't that a bit too little?"
"That's enough. This one is too sweet. You said your teeth hurt last time." Si Yankai took it and put it in the cart.
Passing by the fresh food area, Tang Ximian kept muttering that he wanted to eat crabs. After searching for a while, he finally found them in the corner.
Si Yankai was just about to call someone to help fish it out when Tang Ximian took the fishing net and started fishing himself.
"This one is good, it's big. This one is also good, it looks meaty."
Si Yankai smiled, let him play for a while, and then took all the big crabs in the pond.
Turning to the daily necessities area, Tang Ximian was attracted by the pink and blue teddy bear couple towels. Si Yankai came over and joked with him, and his ears turned red as he hurriedly threw the towel into the shopping cart.
After paying the bill, dusk had already fallen.
In the cold wind, Si Yankai wrapped Tang Ximian's scarf tightly, but was suddenly stuffed with a chocolate.
"Is it sweet?" Tang Ximian asked.
Si Yankai lowered his head and kissed away the crumbs from the corner of his mouth, and whispered, "Not as sweet as you."
