Chapter 6 Spend Time Together
"Tang Ximian, Tang Ximian? What are you daydreaming about?"
Yu Shu, who was in the same class as Tang Ximian and was preparing to go home together after class, stretched out his hand and waved it in front of Tang Ximian who stopped and was in a daze.
Tang Ximian suddenly came to his senses and found himself staring blankly at the window of the Student Union office over there.
Through the glass, he could see that Si Yankai was wearing a dark gray turtleneck sweater today.
At this time, he was sitting on a chair, and next to him stood a classmate wearing a beige windbreaker, with long hair casually draped over her shoulders. The two seemed to be very close, and Si Yankai seemed to smile at her.
Tang Ximian felt a tightness in his chest and throat.
He remembered that Si Yankai hated it most when people got too close to him, but even when the people around him were almost sticking to him, he didn't show any discomfort.

By the time Si Yankai discovered something was wrong, it was already evening.
Looking at the neatly arranged bed next to him but no one there, Si Yankai was stunned. He was too busy today. After class, he was taken to the student union meeting, and then he had to set up the venue. He had no time to contact Tang Ximian.
After coming to his senses, he immediately picked up his phone and wanted to call Tang Ximian.
But I found an unread message on my phone:
"Xi Mian is here with me."

Tang Ximian sat on the carpet in Mu Jiu's house, holding the game controller in his hand, his eyes fixed on the screen, but his mind had already drifted away.
On the screen, the game character was defeated by the enemy again and again, but he was unaware of it. His fingers pressed the buttons mechanically, and his mind was full of the scene in the morning - Si Yankai was so close to a girl, smiling so gently.
"Hey, Tang Ximian, are you here to play games or just sit there and doze off?"
Mu Jiu kicked his foot with a look of disgust, "Are you playing me?"
Tang Ximian came back to his senses, glanced at Mu Jiu, and said in a sullen tone: "I don't want to play anymore, play by yourself."
Mu Jiu raised an eyebrow, put down the controller, and looked up at him: "What's wrong? You look like you've been heartbroken. Who offended you?"
"Who's heartbroken?! I haven't even started dating yet!!" Tang Ximian glared at him, but her tone was a little guilty. "I'm just... I'm a little annoyed."
"No way, they're not together yet?" Mu Jiu muttered softly.
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing, just asking what's bothering you?" Mu Jiu changed the subject, "Did that Si Yankai piss you off again?"
Tang Ximian didn't say anything, but just turned his face away silently.
Seeing this, Mu Jiu understood and sighed, "You two have been like this since you were little. Whenever you get upset, you run around everywhere. Tell me, what happened this time?"
Tang Ximian pursed her lips, hesitated for a moment, and then muttered softly, "He...he was very close to a girl, chatting so happily. He even lied to me that he was in a meeting!!"
Mu Jiu was stunned for a moment, then laughed out loud: "That's it? You ran out for this?"
"Isn't that enough?" Tang Ximian was furious. "He clearly... clearly..."
"Mingming what?"
Mu Jiu teased him deliberately, "I've always been good to you, pampering you and spoiling you, so how could you get so close to someone else?"
Tang Ximian's heart was touched, and her face flushed red. In anger, she grabbed the pillow and threw it at Mu Jiu: "No way! You are the only one who can talk? Shut up!"
