Let's talk about cervical spine problems

Yesterday I had a headache so severe that I could hardly breathe. I sat there all day and only wrote one chapter. After I finished one chapter in the middle of the night, I went to the hospital for a checkup today.

The reason why I wrote a chapter in the middle of the night, apart from my sense of responsibility as an author, was that I had a severe headache and couldn't fall asleep at all.

Yesterday at midnight, I was doing cervical spine exercises while typing, and I stayed up until almost dawn...then the headache subsided.

After consulting a doctor today, the result was: cervical kyphosis.

At first I thought it was nothing, it was just a back arch! But the doctor said if the condition gets worse, it will lead to numbness in the hands and feet, and high paraplegia.

I was scared to death on the spot.

After a deeper understanding, I realized that the cervical spine is a very important part because it is connected to the brain. My headaches are caused by cervical pain, which compresses blood vessels, resulting in insufficient blood supply to the brain, followed by brain hypoxia, dizziness and vomiting. I encountered this situation a few months ago. At that time, I deliberately took leave to go to the hospital to check my head and did an MRI, but my brain was in good condition. The doctor said, oh, that might be a migraine. (Migraine is a disease that has no reason)

Any headache that cannot be diagnosed can be classified as a migraine.

After I got home that day, I read the book reviews and found that a reader said that your headache might be caused by cervical spine problems... This shows how poor the level of doctors in small cities is nowadays.

Well, let’s get back to the topic.

As for the cause, it's easy to guess that my cervical spine is stiff from working at a desk day after day. By the way, I also have a lot of nodules on the back of my neck (caused by muscle stiffness).

The doctor’s advice is to reduce the time spent writing at a desk and to do cervical spine exercises every morning, noon and evening.

You must not let the condition worsen to the point where your hands and feet become paralyzed, otherwise it will be very dangerous.

That's the situation.

Brothers, my life is more important, I can only shorten my writing time. I will try my best to update twice a day, but if I update once a day, please don't scold me! Sorry~
