Chapter 117: Taken Away for Questioning
“Bang!”
The white tile lamp lit up, and the dazzling light illuminated the dim room and also shone on Lin Jin's face.
Lin Jin sat in the interrogation room, her hands handcuffed, leaning against the chair with her eyes squinted.
She was just about to raise her hand to rub her eyes, but as soon as her hand left the table, she heard a young policeman in front of her slapping the table.
"Be quiet and keep your hands still."
Lin Jin put her hands down again and could only look at the ceiling and blink to relieve the soreness in her eyes.

Zheng Yuanyang and another elderly policeman pushed the door open, each holding a teacup, and brought a lunch box for Lin Jin.

Lin Jin opened the box, bit open the chopsticks' packaging with her teeth, pretended not to understand the old policeman's implication, broke open the chopsticks, held the lunch box and took a big mouthful of rice.
The old policeman and Zheng Yuanyang sat down, and another young policeman opened his laptop and started recording.
The old policeman put down his teacup and introduced himself: "Little girl, my name is Kuang Tao, you can call me Uncle Kuang."
Lin Jin swallowed a mouthful of rice and said, "Uncle Kuang, why did you call me here? My friend is waiting for me."
Kuang Tao said with a smile, the wrinkles at the corners of his eyes lifted with the smile, "Don't worry, I asked your roommates to go back first, you can leave as long as you ask clearly."
Lin Jin sat up straight, "Ask me! I will tell you everything."

“At home, I put it in the kitchen.”

Kuang Tao took out a photo from the folder and asked, "Is the Ran Ran you are talking about Xu Ran?"

Tears gushed out of her face and soon her face was covered with tears.
Later, the sobbing turned into loud crying. She buried her face in her hands while crying, her shoulders twitching, and she looked very sad.
Kuang Tao and Zheng Yuanyang watched her cry silently, without any intention of comforting her.
The two did not give up observing Lin Jin just because she cried, but instead they became more careful.
