The intergalactic wanted notice was not only discovered on the Imperial capital planet, but also received news of Adrian.
"A warrant for arrest?"
As Martin responded, he pulled up the details and showed them to Adrian.
"Boss, should we..." Martin wanted to say whether they should inform Desia to prevent other space pirate leaders from having any designs on them.
Adrian shook his head. "Don't get involved."
"Helian Jue will handle it; on the surface, we must remain neutral."
"yes."
Adrian and his group have been on Abyss Star for three days now, and have found nothing. They haven't found their father's old friend, not only have they not seen him, but they don't even know where he is right now...
Gide walked in hurriedly from outside. "Boss, an old shoemaker saw General Diwei a year ago."
“I’ve chatted with General Diwei, so I have some impression of him.”
Gide continued, "When I was chatting with the old craftsman, General Diwei mentioned that she wanted to spend some time in interstellar space."
Adrian's initial joy vanished instantly, and he still gained nothing.
Interstellar travel? There are seventy-two star systems in the interstellar space, and countless smaller planets. Where would you even begin to search for such a place?
In three days, they searched almost every corner of Yuanxing, but found no one. There was an 80% chance that General Diwei had already left.
"Search for another day tomorrow. If we still can't find them, we'll return to Herka Star immediately," Adrian decided.
A day passed quickly, and there was still no news.
Adrian had no choice but to leave Abyss Star reluctantly, intending to return to Herka Star to make further plans.
The spaceship quietly took off from Abyss Star. Adrian stood tall under the porthole, his mind processing the known information one by one.
The first photo he showed to Helian Jue was inexplicably found in a mailbox outside his residence on Herka Star.
In this interstellar age, paper information is about to be phased out, especially handwritten letters, which are becoming increasingly rare.
The mailbox outside the residence was originally a decorative item added to match the overall decor.
The photos were carefully packaged and delivered by an eleven or twelve-year-old boy.
Martin and his team found the person immediately. The boy only said that someone had asked him to deliver it, and he had never seen the person's face.
Judging from his appearance, he was a tall, muscular man wearing a hat and a mask.
Adrian retrieved the photos from the computer and examined them carefully once more.
His father was an official of the Alliance who was granted the title of Duke for his outstanding achievements. He worked diligently for the Alliance for many years, but was stripped of his title more than 20 years ago and sent to White Star, where he eventually died of depression.
"Boss, boss! Something big has happened!"
Martin's hurried footsteps grew closer, and upon seeing Adrian, he slammed on the brakes. "Another envelope arrived."
The guards at the residence on Herka Star, during their routine night patrol, noticed that the mailbox appeared to have been disturbed. Upon closer inspection, they found something inside.
"The housekeeper didn't dare open it; he's waiting for the boss to get back," Martin said. "Boss, who do you think sent this?"
“He knows our every move. If this envelope still contains the same photos as last time, does the person who sent it know we're involved…”
Adrian's expression grew increasingly grim, and Martin obediently shut up.
A few days later, the spaceship arrived at Herka.
Adrian rushed back to his residence and immediately retrieved the envelope. It was just an ordinary envelope, nothing special about it.
With a slight tremor in his hands, Adrian opened the envelope with a cold expression. Inside, just like last time, were photos of an ongoing experiment.
This time, however, the main characters are "humans" and "six-legged spiders," and a group of researchers wearing white lab coats are injecting something into the experimental subjects.
The person lying on the lab table next to me had probably already received the injection; their skin was an eerie green, and there were small bumps on the skin of their neck, which looked like scales? It was hard to see clearly.
Adrian photographed the contents of each of the photos and handed them to Martin.
At this moment, the two finally developed some tacit understanding as master and servant, and Martin took the items to find someone to test them.
Adrian spent a long time in his study thinking, but he still couldn't figure out where these things came from.
This was the second time; the mysterious person seemed to be guiding him, wanting him to investigate.
To successfully infiltrate the Alliance's deepest experiments, the only people he could think of were his father's former friends or students he had sponsored...
Adrian dialed Helian Jue's personal computer. After ringing for a while and being transferred two or three times, Helian Jue finally answered the call.
"What's up?"
Adrian got straight to the point and talked about the photos.
Helian Jue also looked serious. "According to Bion, the species hybridization experiment is most likely taking place on the insect planet."
"So these photos must have been taken on an insect planet."
"Have Lin Zhong contact Martin; there's a system that can find out where the photos were taken."
Adrian nodded, but the worry on his face did not disappear; he was still concerned about the mysterious man.
"Hiding in the shadows, being constantly manipulated by him, I'm a little worried." Facing his ally, Adrian revealed his deepest concerns.
Helian Jue said coldly, "And then?"
"Don't you... feel that I can comfort you?"
There was one more thing Helian Jue didn't say: "Are you crazy or am I crazy?"
