The two returned to their bedroom and sat down on the sofa.
"Want to watch TV?" Helian Jue asked Qiao You. "To continue watching the cartoons the baby watched a couple of days ago?"
Qiao You neither agreed nor refused, and Helian Jue brought up the cartoon.
The animated sounds rang out in the bedchamber, but Helian Jue wasn't interested in them. Most of his attention was still on Qiao You, but upon closer observation, he noticed something was amiss.
The little fish wasn't watching the cartoon at all; instead, she kept peeking, touching this and that, as if constantly trying to make sure he was really there beside her...
"Baby, is the cartoon good?" Helian Jue suddenly asked, startling Qiao You.
"It's so good!" Qiao Youfei replied quickly. "Why do you ask that, brother?"
"I really enjoy watching this kind of animation."
"Brother, you haven't forgotten, have you?" Qiao You would frantically try to make amends when he was nervous.
Helian Jue was very familiar with this habit.
