Three days later, just as Helian Jue was hesitating about how to proceed with the battle plan, Lin Zhong arrived.
"Your Highness, someone from Shenyuan has arrived."
Helian Jue threw down his pen. "Shen Yuan?"
Lin Zhong explained, "Shenyuan rose to prominence a few years ago, mainly engaged in interstellar transportation business, and their footprints can be found in both the Empire and the Alliance."
"The civilian waterway development work was undertaken by Shen Yuan on Chunxing, which was newly incorporated into the Empire last year."
Helian Jue suddenly remembered, "What is it?"
"The visitor is Shen Jun, assistant to Mr. Adrian, the leader of Shenyuan. He says he wants to speak with His Highness," Lin Zhong reported. "He is now on the visitor's spaceship."
Helian Jue felt the name sounded familiar, "Adrian?"
"Yes, the pirate who kidnapped a high-ranking Alliance official and demanded a huge ransom."
Helian Jue's mind raced. "Come on, let's go see this person."
Shen Jun, under the instructions of his elder brother Adrian, took the initiative to come and see His Highness the Crown Prince of the Empire.
"Your subject Shen Jun greets Your Highness." Shen Jun greeted the person upon hearing footsteps and seeing them.
Helian Jue's voice was relatively flat, "Mr. Shen, there's no need for such formalities."
"What brings you here, Mr. Shen?"
Shen Jun said directly, "This is what the leader asked me to give to His Highness."
"It contains what His Highness desires."
Helian Jue gestured for Lin Zhong to take it.
Shen Jun respectfully said, "The leader has one more thing to say: the alliance harbors wolfish ambitions and is brewing a great disaster. I hope Your Highness can make plans as soon as possible."
"I have delivered my message, Your Highness. I shall take my leave now." After explaining the arrangements made by His Highness, Shen Jun took his leave.
Lin Zhong saw Shen Jun off, and Helian Jue opened the things Shen Jun had brought.
An ordinary folder contained a few blurry photos. Several people in white protective suits surrounded a merman, their eyes filled with terror and fear.
All the photos are like this, with different creatures surrounding the center, including snakes, cranes, and lizards...
Helian Jue felt physically uncomfortable looking at these photos, especially the last one, in which the lizard's belly was cut open and its eyes were full of pain, while the staff in protective suits looked excited.
There was also a small note in the folder that said the alliance was conducting some illegal experiments.
Those few words sent a chill down Helian Jue's spine.
Given that the wreckage found from the destroyed Alliance warship recently contained tissues of other organisms, the two are easily linked.
"Lin Zhong, come and take a look." Helian Jue handed the items to Lin Zhong.
Lin Zhong glanced through it briefly, and his thoughts were exactly the same as Helian Jue's.
"How could the Alliance do this? Doesn't this violate the interstellar norms jointly established by all the people of the galaxy?"
Helian Jue clenched his fists and said angrily, "How could these heartless bastards still remember the rules of interstellar travel?"
"This group in the alliance is courting death."
Lin Zhong asked, "Your Highness, what should we do?"
"Send men to secretly investigate and find the exact location of this research base," Helian Jue instructed. "Be careful."
"yes."
The photos Adrian sent through his assistant appeared to have been taken using a quantum computer. Since he only sent photos, it meant that he didn't know the exact location either.
Just as Lin Zhong was about to step out of the command room, Helian Jue stopped him, saying, "Hand over the civilian air routes of Claire Star to Shen Yuan."
"yes."
This is how smart people deal with each other. Helian Jue knew he would have to repay Adrian's favor sooner or later, so he might as well repay him now while he still had the initiative.
Not long after Lin Zhong left, there was another knock on the door of the command room.
Upon hearing the knock, Helian Jue knew without a doubt that it was Xiaoyu.
Even the sound of the little fish knocking on the door has an inexplicable cuteness.
Helian Jue capped the pen. These habits were influenced by his mother, and he didn't like to rely on technology in certain things.
"Brother," the little fish popped its head up and called out.
Helian Jue smiled and beckoned to Xiaoyu, "Baby, come here."
The little fish came running over, calling out, "Brother~"
"It's time to rest."
Helian Jue glanced at the personal terminal; it was indeed already 10 PM. "Little Fish Brand Alarm Clock."
Qiao You said proudly, "It's exclusively for my brother."
Helian Jue replied, "It is my honor."
Immediately afterward, Helian Jue began tidying up the desk. Qiao You, with his sharp eyes, spotted a document and couldn't help but read it aloud, "Adrian..."
"Does the little fish know it?"
Qiao You shook his head, "I don't know him."
I just felt that the name was familiar, like I had heard it somewhere before.
Never mind, I must have seen it in that TV series.
Qiao You held her brother's hand and happily went back into the house.

"Boss, the deal on the waterway has been finalized," Shen Jun and Martin said excitedly as they walked in from outside.
Martin leaned closer to Adrian and said, "Boss, you have no idea how smoothly things went today!"
"No wonder they say it's easy to get a job if you have connections in the imperial court! This is the first time Shen Jun and I have ever received such treatment. Even those stern-faced officials are treating us with utmost respect."
"That felt great!"
Adrian twirled the beads in his hand. "Helian Jue, interesting."
Martin, feeling quite smug after accomplishing something big, exclaimed in horror when he heard his boss seriously evaluating another man: "Boss, that's His Highness the Imperial Prince! We don't have the ability to kidnap him and make him our pirate wife!"
