It was already late when we arrived at Yunlai Star.
During dinner, everyone chatted while eating, with Qiao You acting as Helian Jue's spokesperson most of the time.
In matters of daily life, Helian Jue was a man of few words. If Lan Ruozhi or Su Wangqiu asked him a question, Helian Jue would only respond with two sentences, no more than twenty words.
Qiao You is much more endearing; he can break a single sentence into three, while older people simply enjoy lively conversations.
That evening, Helian Jue led Qiao You towards the bedroom.
Apart from the main courtyard, the entire Su family estate has five side courtyards. Helian Jue lives in Su Shu's Qing Courtyard.
As Qiao You approached, he couldn't take it all in; the patterns were truly exquisite!
Holding Qiao You in her brother's arms, she didn't need to watch where she was going, making it easier for her to look around.
As Qiao You reached the corner, his gaze fell upon the eaves of the roof, and wondered how the pattern there could be so similar...

Helian Jue didn't know the answer to Xiaoyu's question either. After a pause, he quickly came up with a solution: "Let's go to the other courtyards tomorrow and see if there are any similar carvings."

Helian Jue stroked the little fish's tail. "Go to sleep, baby?"
Qiao You nestled into Helian Jue's arms, wanting to sleep in his arms.
Half an hour later, Qiao You was fast asleep.
However, Helian Jue couldn't fall asleep, which was truly unbelievable.
What is the connection between his mother, Youyou, and Youyou's parents?

"When we get old, you and Yinchen must remember this."
"No matter what happens, we must protect this house," Su Sang said earnestly.
Helian Jue nodded in agreement, "Uncle, what is the meaning of these carvings under the eaves?"
Su Sang took a few steps forward, getting closer to the sculptures. "These sculptures... have always been here."
“Your maternal grandparents doted on you. When you were little, you and Yinchen were playful and used these pillars as targets, which made your parents so angry that they were about to punish you with sticks.”
"If it weren't for my older sister stopping you, you two would have definitely gotten a beating." Su Sang joked with a smile, her voice filled with longing and sadness when she mentioned Su Shu, "When Mom and Dad get angry, only... my older sister can stop them."
"If my elder sister had listened to our parents and hadn't married Helian Cheng... would things have been different?"
