Having just pulled off a big heist, Desia was in a good mood and immediately sent someone to ask Helian Tu for the money.
"What's up with His Highness the Crown Prince's spaceship? How is it so durable?"
Desia muttered to himself, "Others might not be able to tell from the video, but he can understand it from this close distance."
Although their spaceship didn't use particle cannons, it still had some destructive power. It felt like the spaceship was completely unharmed, without any impact whatsoever...
The several near-explosions that nearly resulted in being blown apart were all staged by manually piloting the spaceship.
Tsk! If this technology could be used on their spaceships and battleships, they would be invincible and wipe out those bastards from the Alliance.
The younger brother standing next to him remained silent, but very observantly served coffee to the person.
I don't know where the boss learned all this from. He clearly doesn't like drinking, but he still forces himself to drink it, and he calls it classy.
Desia picked up his glass and took a small sip. He still wasn't used to the taste and almost spat it out, but then he remembered that everyone else was drinking this stuff at previous gatherings, so he couldn't refuse.
well……
It was tough being a pirate's underling before, and it's tough being a big pirate now.
"What did Helian Tu say? When will the money be paid?" Desia put the cup of coffee back in its place.
"He said he would vouch for me as the Second Prince of the Empire, and asked if it could be delayed by a few days?"
Desia slammed his hand on the table. What the hell? You want to owe me money? He's a space pirate, who in the entire galaxy would dare owe a space pirate money?
“Tell him that if he doesn’t see the money in three days, he can’t blame me for being ruthless.” Desia, who always had a fiery temper, issued an ultimatum.
The pirate henchman immediately went down to deliver the message and ran far away.
Desia dialed Martin's personal computer; if there was anything fun to be had, she naturally had to call her good buddies.
"How could Helian Tu's brain be so crooked? He even wants to owe money?"
"I really went all out; I sent several warships and spaceships, and suffered quite a few losses," Desia said, half-heartedly trying to elicit sympathy.
Martin scoffed, "You still lost a lot? You're kidding me. You made a whopping six billion interstellar coins this time."
"Don't act innocent after getting the benefit."
Desia grinned widely, revealing her front teeth, her joy undisguised. "Keep it low-key, keep it low-key, just a small profit."
"By the way, I have something to ask you."
Are you acquainted with His Highness Crown Prince Helian Jue?
Martin was off work today, comfortably lounging under a parasol by the pool, basking in the sun. "What's up? Just say it."
"Ask if they'll sell the spaceship technology?" Desia said.
Upon hearing this, Martin sat up with a start. "Grandpa, do you want to hear what you're saying?"
"Would they sell you their military technology?"
"You are a space pirate, not an Imperial general."
Desia knew he was a space pirate, of course, but that guy was just too awesome! It was hard not to be tempted when you saw him.
“Why not ask? Just in case,” Desia continued. “I swear I would never use it against the Empire.”
Martin continued to pour cold water on the idea, saying, "No need to ask, it's absolutely impossible."
Currently, interstellar space appears to be a two-legged balance, but in reality, it is a three-legged balance.
Empire, Alliance, Space Pirates.
These are all in an opposing relationship; they are not absolute enemies, but they are not friends either.
Military technology is the lifeblood of a nation. Do you think you can just give it to me for free? That's wishful thinking.
“Don’t be so absolute. I’ll send you a video to see,” Desia said earnestly. “I don’t necessarily need it to be exactly the same; it can be modified a bit.”
"All you need is an automatic avoidance function and an outer shell that looks fragile but is actually incredibly hard."
Martin was also intrigued after watching the video. "Should I go ask the boss?"
Desia tried to fan the flames, saying, "Go ask, just in case."
"If we had this thing in our hands, wouldn't we be able to make those old men in the Alliance look like dogs?"
"Then I'll ask the boss when I have time," Martin agreed.
Desia was overjoyed that she had achieved her goal. "After I've finished dealing with Helian Tu, I'll come over and we'll have a good drink together."
Martin replied, "No problem!"
"We won't leave until we're drunk! We'll definitely drink you under the table!"
