Chapter 16 Stop Bullying Girls
"Second in the third row! Who gave you permission to wipe your sweat?"
Standing next to Lu Fengyuan, Lin Meng was startled by his sudden shout. Before her heart could catch its breath, he asked again, "Chen Yu, did I tell you to move?"
Lu Fengyuan coldly rebuked, "Report if you have anything to do. If I see anyone move again, their military posture will be extended by five minutes."
"ah."
"Ten minutes."
After those words were spoken, no one dared to say another.
They were all thinking to themselves, "Why is it that nighttime and daytime are completely different?"
Chen Yu twisted his body slightly, but finally couldn't help but shout, "Report!"
"explain."
"Could you come here for a moment?"
Su Shun's lips twitched.
Lu Fengyuan: "Where do you think this is? Speak up."
Chen Yu said something in a low voice.
"Didn't you eat dinner? And you're making such a loud noise."
He repeated it again.
I was still asked to speak louder.
Chen Yu felt embarrassed.
Zhou Yanchuan glanced at him and said indifferently, "He said he wanted to pull up his pants."
"puff."
Su Shun couldn't hold back any longer.
His smile broke many people's composure.
Lu Fengyuan stood in front of Su Shun: "Is it that funny?"
Su Shun shook his head.
“And you,” he said, turning his gaze to Zhou Yanchuan, who was standing to the side.
"Did I tell you to speak?"
"Report: No."
"So what do you mean?"
"Report, my mouth is itchy."
Su Shunren stood ramrod straight, but his lips couldn't help but start twitching.
Lu Fengyuan couldn't stand it anymore: "You two, stand in front of me."
"And what about me?" she asked weakly.
"..."
Lu Fengyuan was speechless: "Mention it."
Wen Jiu was staring blankly at the trees in the distance when a tall figure suddenly entered her empty vision.
His pupils trembled slightly.
Zhou Yanchuan had a faint smile on his lips as he lazily met her gaze.
However, he also knew that it wouldn't be long before the girl looked away.
As expected.
After a few seconds of eye contact, she looked away as if she hadn't seen him at all.
Zhou Yanchuan chuckled, seemingly unconcerned, and continued to stare intently at her.
With the hat on, the lower half of her face looked even smaller.
The exposed skin didn't get tanned at all.
While he was engrossed in watching, his view was suddenly blocked.
Zhou Yanchuan unconsciously frowned, lifted his eyelids, and met Lu Fengyuan's gaze.
The man raised an eyebrow: "What, am I in your way?"
He wasn't intimidated, and said in a nonchalant tone, "A little."
Lu Fengyuan chuckled silently, speaking in a voice only the two of them could hear: "Stop bullying that girl."
*
"I can't do it anymore."
With the sound of a whistle, the group of people who were standing straight as pines a second ago instantly became wilted eggplants.
Under the sun, Lin Meng slumped on the ground, her cheeks flushed but her lips bloodless.
Wen Jiu picked up the water glass next to her and handed it to her.
She pouted, looking vulnerable and on the verge of tears.
"What's wrong?" Wen Jiu asked softly.
"I want to go home."
She let out a pitiful sob.
Wen Jiu paused for a moment, hesitated for two seconds, then raised her hand and gently patted the girl's back.
"Hang in there a little longer, it'll be almost there."
A gentle voice sounded in her ear, and Lin Meng looked up.
The military training these past few days doesn't seem to have had any effect on the girl in front of me.
Her eyes were moist, and her skin was still fair and radiant.
Her attention was drawn away, and she forgot her sadness, her mind filled with thoughts of, "Classmate, watch carefully."
"Um?"
Wen Jiu didn't keep up with the girl's erratic thoughts. She blinked twice and was about to speak when the girl's small face loomed close to hers, her voice very low.
"By the way, was Zhou Yanchuan looking at you just now?"
Wen Jiu was taken aback and subconsciously wanted to say something in rebuttal, but the girl's voice rang out again.
"I've been watching for a long time."
Her face flushed.
Lin Meng was standing in front of Wen Jiu. When she first noticed Zhou Yanchuan's gaze on them, she thought he was looking at her. She immediately stopped feeling dizzy and her face just burned.
Just as she was feeling shy, she suddenly remembered that Wen Jiu was right behind her.
Mustering her courage, she looked up and found that Zhou Yanchuan's gaze was indeed fixed on her from behind.
While the two were chatting, a commotion suddenly broke out around them.
Several girls from other classes ran up to Zhou Yanchuan with water in their arms, looking at him with bright eyes.
"Here, take this."
Zhou Yanchuan glanced down at it but didn't move.
The boys nearby joked, "Shouldn't we be a little more restrained? This place is practically big enough to open a supermarket."
The girls blushed at what was said, glanced at the pile of drinks in the corner, and then secretly looked up at the person opposite them.
His eyes were full of anticipation.
What I find most unbearable about Chen Yu after these past few days of getting to know him is his popularity with women.
Whether he's arrogant or not, let's leave that aside for now.
The fact that girls don't even notice other men when he's around is enough to make anyone annoyed.
"Are you going to accept it or not?" Chen Yu patted him with his hat. "If you're not going to accept it, get the person out of here. They're just causing trouble."
Zhou Yanchuan turned his attention to him, casually asking, "Feeling annoyed?"
"hold head high."
"Then you can bother me."
"..."
Many people at school wanted to get close to Zhou Yanchuan but were also a little afraid of him, so their reactions were somewhat ingratiating.
But then Chen Yu came along, a terrible cook with a huge addiction, and he was always arguing with us.
However, perhaps it was precisely because of his aimless approach that the two found themselves surprisingly compatible.
In just a few days, it felt like we'd known each other for ages.
Chen Yu lunged at him and attacked.
Zhou Yanchuan leaned back, and a gust of wind blew by, allowing a ray of sunlight to shine through the gaps in the leaves and fall on his cheek.
Seeing this, Lin Meng gently nudged Wen Jiu with her arm.
Wen Jiu turned her head: "What's wrong?"
"So handsome."
Wen Jiu didn't speak, but suddenly noticed a gaze.
The boy's eyelashes were illuminated by the light, and the corners of his lips curled into a wild smile, exuding a captivating roguish charm.
The sounds around me receded like the tide, and I could only hear my own heartbeat.
She paused for a moment, then quickly lowered her head.
Zhou Yanchuan's gaze lingered on the slender figure not far away for a few seconds before he smiled and slowly looked away.
In the end, he didn't take the water from the two girls.
Several boys around him teased him, saying, "You're heartless."
He didn't refute, letting the group "attack" him, occasionally laughing along, appearing lazy and unconcerned.
"He rejected me again. How many times has he rejected me today?" Lin Meng sighed softly as she watched the two girls run away with their water bottles.
Wen Jiu shook his head. There were too many people coming to see him every day; he couldn't remember them all.
“I feel,” Lin Meng winked at her and whispered, “that he’ll definitely want it if you give it to him.”
Wen Jiu was slightly stunned, still not used to the fact that the girl already knew about her relationship with Zhou Yanchuan.
“Honestly,” Lin Meng leaned closer as she drifted off into thought.
Wen Jiu raised her slightly confused eyes.
A tentative voice whispered in my ear, "Why don't you give it a try, deskmate?"
Do you deliver water?
Lin Meng shook her head; of course, it wasn't to deliver water.
She dared not let outsiders hear what she was about to say, and pressed herself close to the person next to her.
