Chapter 6: I Like Him, It's Too Wrongful
Zhou Yanchuan remained indifferent, watching as the woman obediently stood still. He released his hand from the back of her collar and lazily replied to the person on the other end of the phone, "I'm not going."
Upon hearing this, the person who was yelling just a second ago suddenly fell silent, and after a while asked, "Are you serious?"
"Um."
Chen Si Nian pursed his lips, inhaled and exhaled, but in the end he couldn't hold back.
"Zhou Yanchuan, you son of a bitch..."
Wen Jiu didn't listen attentively, but the voice on the other end of the phone was really loud.
It wasn't until Zhou Yanchuan hung up the phone that the surroundings became quiet.
She looked up at him, still a little stunned. After a few seconds, she asked softly, "Aren't you going?"
Upon hearing this, he lowered his eyes.
Wen Jiu pursed her lips: "It sounds like you're in a hurry."
Zhou Yanchuan didn't speak, he just stared at her for a while, then said, "Don't change the subject."
She blinked, looking slightly bewildered. When she realized he was referring to what had happened earlier, she hesitated for a second and whispered, "Nothing was moved."
"Did you hear what I just said?"
"Um."
"Then what?"
Wen Jiu thought for a moment and nodded slightly: "I understand."
No sooner had she said that than a cryptic voice rang out from above: "You'd better really know."
Wen Jiu pursed her lips.
Just then, a voice rang in my ears: "They're gone."
She hadn't quite gotten over the previous topic, and there was a hint of emptiness in her eyes as she looked at the person in front of her.
Zhou Yanchuan looked at the person with a naturally naive appearance and a faint smile appeared on his lips.
"Not going home?"

The temperature dropped a bit in the evening compared to the daytime, and the wind felt slightly cool on her skin. When she reached the door, Wen Jiu reached out and took the schoolbag.
However, instead of carrying it on her shoulder, she took out the note that had been placed there beforehand from the side.
She reached out and handed it over.
Zhou Yanchuan glanced down at it, seemingly casually asking, "Did Chen Yuan give it to you?"
"Chen Yuan?" Wen Jiu looked puzzled, as she had never heard of the name before.
Judging from her reaction, Zhou Yanchuan guessed it wasn't her, and as he reached out to take the note, he asked, "What's this?"
"Don't forget to bring the things Lao Guan told me to bring," she gently instructed, withdrawing her lightly touching fingertips.
Zhou Yanchuan was taken aback when he saw the elegant handwriting.
He belatedly realized what was happening and chuckled softly, "I know."
"Then I'm leaving."
"Um."
Wen Jiu turned and walked towards the door. As she gripped the handle, a voice came from behind her.
"Lock the door. Call me if you need anything."
Her fingertips paused slightly, she lowered her eyes, and obediently responded.
"good."
*
Pushing open the door, Wen Jiu found the room pitch black. She turned on a small lamp, slung her schoolbag over her shoulder, and went into her bedroom.
The room wasn't big, but it was crammed full, mostly with books, even in the corners.
Wen Jiu hung her schoolbag on the chair and took off her coat.
In the mirror, the girl in the school uniform has a slender and graceful figure with fair skin.
She bent down to pick up the books from the ground.
Show a little bit of your waistline.
That one spot was covered in bluish-purple marks.

Two days passed in the blink of an eye.
When Wen Jiu walked to the school gate and saw her classmates standing in the waiting area for the bus, she had a disorienting feeling that she had come to the wrong place.
We had already attended classes together for a day after being divided into different classes, and we hadn't even gotten to know each other's faces yet. Now, none of them were wearing school uniforms.
Not only were they not wearing school uniforms, but some girls were also wearing makeup, making them look fresh and pretty.
As she was lost in thought, a voice sounded from behind her.
"My deskmate."
Wen Jiu turned around and saw Lin Meng appearing with a suitcase.
After shopping together yesterday, their relationship became slightly closer than on the first day of school.
However, Wen Jiu was slow to warm up and had a habit of being quiet. So most of the time, Lin Meng did the talking, and she listened quietly from the side.
"I wonder what our instructors are like. I hope I can be assigned a good one."
"I saw them saying in the group yesterday that there will be an assessment after our military training, which is so annoying."
Wen Jiu looked at the person who was pouting and sighing, and asked softly, "Is there an assessment?"
"Yeah, isn't it annoying?"
"Um."
Lin Meng was initially quite melancholy, but seeing the girl's reaction, she couldn't help but smile.
Wen Jiu was completely confused.
She laughed and said, "My deskmate, you're like a robot."
Wen Jiu raised her eyes, clearly not understanding why she had such a feeling.
But seeing her reaction, Lin Meng felt it was even more likely.
Just as he was about to speak again, he suddenly saw Zhou Yanchuan walking towards them from not far away.
“Look!” she said, reaching out to tug at the girl next to her.
Wen Jiu subconsciously looked up.
Her eyelashes trembled slightly when she saw that figure.
"No matter how many times I see him, I still think he's so handsome," Lin Meng couldn't help but exclaim as she looked at his face.
Wen Jiu also thought so, but she only dared to watch quietly, carefully not daring to reveal the slightest clue.
She stared for a few seconds, then forced herself to look away, when suddenly a girl ran toward her.
At this moment, someone next to him exclaimed, "No wonder it's Zhou Yanchuan; he even attracted Ning Qianqian's attention."
Lin Meng said this hoping that someone would agree with her, but she found that her eyes once again showed a look of confusion.
"You haven't heard of her?" His tone betrayed his shock.
Wen Jiu shook her head. She rarely paid attention to such gossip, and the few she knew were all related to him.
Seeing her reaction, Lin Meng explained, "Ning Qianqian is very popular in middle school and is a well-known internet celebrity."
"Internet celebrity?"
"Yes, some of her photos in school uniform went viral."
A hint of understanding appeared in Wen Jiu's eyes.
Before she could respond, the girl lowered her voice and said, "But I feel that Zhou Yanchuan probably doesn't like Ning Qianqian's type."
Wen Jiu was surprised by her certainty.
Meeting her puzzled look, the girl whispered, "I feel like Ning Qianqian can't handle him, and you can tell from his ex-girlfriends too."
Wen Jiu felt a pain in her finger and looked down to find a small hangnail on her index finger that she didn't know had appeared at the time.
"What's wrong?" Lin Meng noticed that she was lost in thought, and looked away from the boy and at her.
Wen Jiu's eyes were calm as she said softly, "You have a hangnail on your hand."
"Ouch, does it hurt a lot? I have nail clippers with me, please trim them quickly."
She was about to reach for her bag when Wen Jiu stopped her, saying, "It's alright."
Just as Lin Meng was about to speak again, she suddenly saw Ning Qianqian, with red eyes, turn around and run away not far away.
Seeing this, she wore an expression of both expectation and regret: "See, I told you so, I got rejected."
Wen Jiu raised her eyes.
The girl named Ning Qianqian had very fair skin, so even a little redness in her eyes was very noticeable. Tears were welling up in her eyes, about to fall, which was heartbreaking.
I've seen this scene many times before, but it still makes me feel heavy and uneasy.
I don't know if I'm speaking for the girl or for myself.
Besides them, several voices behind them were also discussing Zhou Yanchuan.
"His ex-girlfriends were all mature and sophisticated women, so he must like that type."
"It's better not to like someone like him too easily."
"Changing girlfriends is like changing clothes. To put it bluntly, I just like the good-looking ones and don't care about anything else."
"I like him, it's too unfair."
...
Wen Jiu felt a sharp, intermittent pain in her finger again. She looked down and realized that it was bleeding.
Upon seeing this, Lin Meng hurriedly rummaged through her bag to get a band-aid.
While applying the plaster, she said, "Why did you tear it like that? It hurts so much."
It seems my heart is hurting more than my fingers.
Wen Jiu originally wanted to say, "It's nothing."
But at that very second, Zhou Yanchuan looked up and glanced over.
Their eyes met across the crowd.
In that instant, I suddenly felt so uncomfortable.
