Chapter 84 Because I wanted to do something bad.
As Zhou Yanchuan walked out, the two girls in the washroom also poked their heads out.
His eyes were brimming with barely concealed excitement.
Did you just see that?
"certainly!"
"It's so sweet."
"They're still together!"
"Of course they're together. Haven't you heard? Zhou Yanchuan is studying because of Wen Jiu."
"It's amazing. I never thought that Zhou Yanchuan would do this for a girl."
...
The two girls were moved by what they had just witnessed, but they never imagined that Zhou Yanchuan's decision, which would soon follow, would cause an even greater uproar.

The senior students at No. 1 High School are boarding students, with a long vacation every month. Zhou Yanchuan finally made it to the last month of vacation before the exam, and as soon as he stepped out of the school gate, Chen Si Nian called.
Before he could speak, she said, "It's my birthday tomorrow, Zhou Yanchuan. If you don't come soon, I'm really going to get angry with you! And don't forget to tell Wen Jiu to come too!"
After saying that, she hung up the phone without waiting for his reply.
Zhou Yanchuan stared at the screen that had switched back and chuckled for a moment.
Wen Jiu was standing next to him and naturally heard the sound from the phone.
She looked up at him: "Is this your birthday?"
“Mm,” Zhou Yanchuan reached out to take her hand.
However, whether they haven't decided yet or not, they haven't said whether they'll go or not.
Wen Jiu thought for a moment, then said softly, "I want to go."
Zhou Yanchuan glanced at her, and perhaps sensing something, he smiled slightly and said, "Then let's go."
"real?"
He nodded.
They were all plotting with Shen Sinian, Chen Yu, and a few others to get him out; it wouldn't be right if he didn't go.
The birthday party was in the evening, and during the day the two of them did their homework in the living room as usual.
Looking at the person who already had bruises, Wen Jiu guessed that he had stayed up late again last night.
If she could go back to that night when he was leaving for abroad, Wen Jiu wondered if she should have held on a little longer.
If he had just persevered a little longer, he wouldn't have had to push himself so hard.
And he was already very outstanding, but all because of that one sentence she said.
Wen Jiu regretted saying earlier: "I want to go to the same school as you."
"Zhou Yanchuan."
"Hmm." A voice suddenly sounded beside him, and Zhou Yanchuan looked up.
"I'm a little sleepy," Wen Jiu said, yawning softly.
"Then go to bed and sleep for a while."
She shook her head and pointed to the sofa behind her: "I can sleep here."
He glanced at it and said, "I'll go get you a blanket."
"Um."
When Zhou Yanchuan came out of the bedroom with a blanket, the girl was still in the same position as before.
He walked over and said, "Go to sleep."
She didn't move, but instead raised her hand and tugged at his hand.
"What's wrong?" he asked.
The girl didn't say anything, but her face slowly turned red.
Seeing her like this, Zhou Yanchuan curled his lips and said, "Wen Xiaojiu, what are you thinking about now?"
"I wasn't thinking about anything," Wen Jiu said, feigning ignorance, especially in front of Zhou Yanchuan.
Relying on the fact that he could tell she was lying, she always acted with ease.
Zhou Yanchuan looked down at her, his gaze filled with a mixture of mockery and profound meaning.
"You're blushing even though you weren't thinking about anything?"
Wen Jiu blushed.
A few seconds passed.
A voice rang in my ears: "If you don't tell me, I'm not listening anymore."
She looked up and saw Zhou Yanchuan staring at her with a leisurely air.
Wen Jiu pursed her lips: "I want to sleep."
He nodded, indicating that he knew: "And then?"
“Then,” Wen Jiu took a deep breath, but her voice was pitifully soft.
However, Zhou Yanchuan still heard it. He was stunned at first, but after realizing the girl's intention, his eyes became even gentler.
And there was a bit of a surprise, a surprise that he knew so quickly what she really meant in her words.
Wen Jiu looked at the silent man, unsure whether he had heard her words, "I want to be with you."
As she hesitated about whether to muster the courage to say it again, Zhou Yanchuan chuckled softly.
Wen Jiu knew he had heard her, and her blush deepened.
He kept his head down and didn't say a word.
Zhou Yanchuan sat down on the sofa next to her.
Seemingly sensing her shyness, he didn't speak immediately. The atmosphere remained quiet for a few seconds before he suddenly said, "Go to sleep. I'll stay here with you."
Wen Jiu blinked, as if she had guessed what she was thinking, and Zhou Yanchuan said softly, "Not yet."
"Why?" she asked instinctively.
Zhou Yanchuan looked at her and remained silent for a moment: "Because I wanted to do something bad."
Wen Jiu was slightly taken aback, her face burning even hotter, but she still asked softly, "Will you kiss me?"
He swallowed hard: "More than that."

In the end, Zhou Yanchuan gave in and lay down on the sofa to sleep for a while. He didn't actually intend to sleep; he just wanted to coax the little girl and pretend to be asleep for a bit.
Moreover, he has been suffering from insomnia lately and has had difficulty falling asleep.
But to my surprise, I actually fell asleep.
I was finally woken up by a phone call.
When the phone rang, Wen Jiu, who was sitting at the table, immediately picked it up, intending to put it on silent.
But it was too late; the person on the sofa moved as soon as I picked up my phone.
It was a call from Chen Si Nian, asking where I was.
The two quickly packed up and left home, picking up the gift Zhou Yanchuan had bought for him: a pair of sneakers that Chen Si Nian had been longing for.
Wen Jiu bought him a bracelet a while ago.
After several encounters, I discovered that he liked wearing jewelry, so I chose a bracelet.
When Zhou Yanchuan saw it, he took it and tried to put it on his own hand. It took Wen Jiu a long time to coax him to put it down.
As they approached their destination, Zhou Yanchuan received a phone call. It's unclear what he said, but his demeanor clearly changed.
After getting off the bus, I didn't go inside immediately, but instead told her to go upstairs first.
Wen Jiu walked absentmindedly into the hall.
A boy who was on the phone entered the elevator before her.
He said he would hold the elevator for her and only pressed the floor button after watching her come in.
Wen Jiu politely said "thank you" and then quietly retreated to a corner.
Wen Qi hadn't been looking at the girl, but he looked up when he heard the gentle "thank you".
A remarkably innocent and harmless face, standing quietly in the corner, yet inexplicably evoking feelings of pity.
A look of amazement flashed in his eyes.
As the elevator doors opened, his gaze followed them forward. When he saw the girl enter with the waiter, he raised an eyebrow.
It was right next door!
