Chapter 44 I'll try it for you
Early in the morning, Xu Jialan went to knock on Chen Yaoan's door.
Chen Yao'an was already dressed and ready. She opened the door and looked at him, asking, "What are you doing here?"
Xu Jialan leaned against the door frame, dangling the car keys in front of her with her index finger, "I'll take you to work."
Chen Yaoan turned and went inside. "I made breakfast. Eat before you leave."
Xu Jialan smiled and sat down at the dining table with a clear conscience.
After breakfast, Xu Jialan drove her to Xu Yan's company, and the car was parked in the underground parking lot.
Chen Yao'an did not get out of the car immediately, but instead sat in the passenger seat and took a few deep breaths.
Xu Jialan turned to look at her, "What's wrong? Nervous?"
"A little." She's been working alone for so many years and hasn't been in a professional environment for a long time. She doesn't know if she can adapt.
"Relax," Xu Jialan comforted her.

Chen Yaoan turned and walked upstairs. She hadn't gone far when she heard footsteps behind her. She turned around and saw that Xu Jialan had caught up with her.
"What's wrong?"
He walked to her side. "I'll go up with you."
"No need, that's not a good idea."
Xu Jialan wouldn't listen to her and pulled her to take the elevator. "Since we're already here, I'll go up and say hello to Xu Yan."
After going upstairs, the two went into Xu Yan's office together.
Xu Yan had been waiting for her for a while, and after seeing Xu Jialan following behind her, he gave her a meaningful look.
This made Chen Yao'an feel quite uncomfortable.
"Why did you come too? Were you worried?"

After chatting for a few minutes, Xu Jialan stood up to say goodbye, saying, "I'm leaving the person in your care."
"Don't worry," Xu Yan replied.
Before leaving, Xu Jialan suddenly bent down and whispered in her ear, startling her. She glanced at Xu Yan instinctively, but Xu Yan turned away.
"I'll pick you up after get off work tonight."
Chen Yaoan nodded.
"They're gone."
Xu Jialan quickly disappeared at the office door.
Xu Yan smiled and said, "You finally changed your mind. Xu Jialan's efforts were worthwhile."
"Going to great lengths?"
Xu Yan nodded. "Our company never lacks interns, and we only hire college students. He went to great lengths to convince me."
Of course, he also had conditions.
Chen Yao'an's lowered eyelashes trembled. He always seemed to know what she wanted and would try his best to make it happen for her.
Then, Xu Yan called in the director of the design department and introduced the two of them.
"This is Director Li, the head of the design department, and this is Chen Yao'an, the intern who just arrived."

Chen Yaoan noticed her movements and asked, "Is your foot alright?"
Before Shen Moke could speak, her assistant began to press her, "How do you walk? We still have a shoot today. If you get hurt, will you take responsibility?"
Chen Yao'an then launched into a series of apologies.
The assistant wanted to say something more, but Shen Moke frowned and said, "Alright, why say such useless things? It's not a big deal for me."
The assistant then shut up.
Chen Yao'an asked again, "Are you sure your foot is okay? Should we go to the hospital?"
Her tone was somewhat apprehensive.
Shen Moke waved her hand dismissively, "It was just a slight twist, I don't feel anything now. It's all because the shoes at the company are so uncomfortable!"
Chen Yaoan lowered her head and looked at her feet; the shoes on her feet did indeed not fit very well.
She apologized again, "It's alright, I'm sorry."
Shen Moke nodded and called to her assistant, "Let's go."
The two left together.
After they had walked away, Chen Yaoan asked Xia Miao, "Was that one of our company's models?"
"Yes, her name is Shen Moke. She is our company's official model and also a friend of our company's boss."
Is he Xu Yan's friend?

As soon as Xu Jialan drove off, Shen Moke and her assistant came out of the building.
The two went to a nearby shopping mall and chose a Huaiyang cuisine restaurant.
The mall was packed with people, as it was lunchtime and many were eating. The two sat at the entrance waiting for a table, and it took them more than half an hour to get a turn.
After finishing our meal and leaving the restaurant, it felt like there were even more people than before.
Is there some kind of event today? Why are there so many people?
"I don't know, how about we take a look around?" Xu Jialan replied.

The two wandered around upstairs for a while before finally going down to the first floor.
Unexpectedly, there were even more people on the first floor, and everyone was walking in one direction. In an instant, it seemed as if everyone had gathered on the first floor.
Chen Yaoan and Xu Jialan were also swept along in that direction by the crowd.

Chen Yaoan looked up at the ceiling. There were many balloons tied to the roof of the shopping mall. The host explained that there were many mysterious prizes hidden inside the balloons, and everyone would have a chance to grab them when the balloons fell.
Knowing full well that these were just gimmicks from the shopping mall, neither she nor Xu Jialan were interested.
Despite the constant flow of people gathering there, the two were eventually squeezed to the entrance of a gold shop.
Seeing the couple holding hands, the shop assistants were quick to notice and approached them, saying, "Would you like to come into our store? We're having a special promotion for Qixi Festival today."
"Qixi Festival?" Chen Yaoan suddenly realized why there were so many people today, and they all looked like couples.
Xu Jialan pulled her directly into the store, saying, "Let's go in and take a look."
