Chapter 29: Conspiracy?

What are the different levels?

“There are four levels: Heaven, Earth, Profound, and Yellow.” Liu Wangcai said with a smile. “The Yellow level is the cheapest, with a starting price of 500 credits per hire. The Profound level is 2,000, the Earth level is 5,000, and the Heaven level is priceless. These prices do not include material costs. We will need to discuss the specifics in person.”

Jiang Wuyuan thought about his credits. With the 1150 he had just received, he now had about 8,000 credits, which should be enough to find a Rank 1 craftsman.

Bar?

"Earth rank, I suppose."

Liu Wangcai sensed Jiang Wuyuan's wealth and responded, "We happen to have a free Earth-rank craftswoman at our Jubao Tower right now. Would you like to meet her?"

"good."

Liu Wangcai immediately led the way for Jiang Wuyuan. The two walked through the Jubao Building and stopped in front of a room that looked very high-class: "This is the rest room for masters of crafting, alchemy and other life professions. Sometimes they come here to discuss business. Master Xu is inside now."

Jiang Wuyuan nodded and raised his hand to knock on the door.

Knock knock knock.

"Come in." A calm, serene female voice came from inside the door.

Liu Wangcai pushed open the door and gestured for Jiang Wuyuan to come in.

A serene woman sat gracefully on the sofa inside the door. She wore a light blue cheongsam, and her fair, delicate fingers held a white jade teacup as she slowly savored the steaming tea.

“Master Xu, hello.” Jiang Wuyuan remembered how Liu Wangcai addressed this woman. “I would like to commission you to forge a weapon.”

Xu Qingyun didn't reply immediately: "Are you a freshman who just enrolled?"

"Yes," Jiang Wuyuan replied.

"Being able to enter the school so early shows that you have quite a bit of talent." Xu Qingyun glanced at Jiang Wuyuan, and when he sensed the strong blood energy emanating from him, he smiled slightly. "You should know the price of a Rank 1 Craftsman?"

“I know,” Jiang Wuyuan nodded. “Price is not a problem.”

If he doesn't have enough credits, he can do more tasks at any time.

As if understanding Jiang Wuyuan's unspoken meaning, Xu Qingyun smiled and said, "Alright, please sit down. Tell me your needs first."

Jiang Wuyuan took out the Devouring Star, the seventh-grade refined iron given to him by the sword spirit, and the broken boundary stone: "Use the seventh-grade meteorite iron to upgrade this sword, and then inlay the boundary stone into the sword."

As soon as the Star Devourer appeared, Xu Qingyun's gaze became intense.

As a Tier 1 craftsman, she could naturally see the value of Devouring Star: "A weapon that can grow, not bad."

His gaze then swept over the boundary stone, and he looked at Jiang Wuyuan with a meaningful smile: "Not bad luck either."

Jiang Wuyuan remained noncommittal.

“You have prepared all the materials you need. In that case, I won’t charge you any extra credits. Seven thousand, how about that?” Xu Qingyun offered his price.

Jiang Wuyuan nodded: "Okay."

Xu Qingyun nodded in satisfaction, put the pile of things Jiang Wuyuan had taken out into his storage ring, and then took out a contract: "A simple contract. Come here in two days to pick up your things."

Jiang Wuyuan took out his student card and handed it to Xu Qingyun: "Okay."
