Chapter 33 Qing Yan’s Song

"Xiao Yuan, how come you suddenly have long hair?" Ruan Kongyin hesitated for a moment, but in the end, she couldn't control her curiosity.

The long-haired boy looked like a black-clad swordsman who had traveled from ancient times; although aloof, he possessed an air of elegance.

Jiang Wuyuan didn't explain it too clearly: "It gets longer when you break through, so you can't shorten it."

Seeing the helplessness on Jiang Wuyuan's face, Ruan Kongyin chuckled and said, "Do you need me to teach you how to tie your hair?"

Since he couldn't cut it off, Jiang Wuyuan could only nod and accept it.

Soon, Liu Wangcai led the two to the room where swords and other weapons were stored.

"Hey, we've arrived, students." Liu Wangcai reached out and pushed open the door.

Jiang Wuyuan went in first.

The longswords on the shelves gleamed under the lights, giving Jiang Wuyuan a more accurate understanding of Jubaolou's wealth and power.

There are at least a hundred swords here.

"Where is the weapon you mentioned earlier, crafted by a Heavenly Rank blacksmith?"

Liu Wangcai immediately pointed the way to Jiang Wuyuan: "It's over here. It's a fourth-tier longsword called Qingyan Tage. Although it's not a high-tier weapon, it's made from rare ores from fourth-tier refined iron, so its performance is almost comparable to a fifth-tier weapon."

Soon, Jiang Wuyuan saw it.

It was a long sword that was entirely emerald green, as upright as a bamboo shoot, with a slender and sharp blade.

Jiang Wuyuan's eyes lit up.

Fine sword.

"May I pick it up and take a look?"

"Of course," Liu Wangcai said, gesturing for him to do as he pleased.

Jiang Wuyuan gripped the hilt and gently lifted the sword.

In an instant, the longsword emitted a clear, crisp sword hum.

Jiang Wuyuan was pleasantly surprised.

I thought this sword was slender and would be very light, but I was surprised to find that it was extremely heavy when I held it in my hand, comparable to the weight of Galactus.

“It seems to like you very much.” Ruan Kongyin was amazed by this scene.

The young swordsman looked quite dashing wielding his sword.

"I'll take this sword," Jiang Wuyuan said to Liu Wangcai.

Liu Wangcai happily replied, "Okay, is there anything else you need?"

"No need." Jiang Wuyuan's eyes were now only on this sword; nothing else was on his mind.

Ruan Kongyin found it somewhat amusing to see Jiang Wuyuan staring intently at her.

It's just like a child who has received candy.

"Because this sword was crafted by a top-tier master blacksmith, and its quality is also exceptional, the price..."

Jiang Wuyuan, thinking of the 160,000 credits in his account, remained completely calm: "Check out the rest of the bill along with the potions."

"Okay!" Liu Wangcai's eyes crinkled with laughter.

He earns a commission on every transaction, so the more he sells and the higher the price, the happier he is.

The three returned to the main hall, where Jiang Wuyuan had already put Qingyan Tage into the sword box and stored away forty vials of medicine.

"A total of 35,000 credits, thank you for your patronage." Liu Wangcai happily swiped his card for Jiang Wuyuan.

Thirty-five thousand was within Jiang Wuyuan's budget.

Ruan Kongyin, however, raised her eyebrows in surprise upon hearing the price.

I never expected Jiang Wuyuan to make so much money in the Battle Tower. It seems that the last level really can make people rich.

"We've already bought the equipment for entering the abyss this afternoon. We'll give you a general introduction after we meet tomorrow morning," Ruan Kongyin said with a smile. "We've recruited five new people this time, so we won't give you a separate introduction."

Jiang Wuyuan nodded.

After bidding farewell to Ruan Kongyin, he flew back to his dormitory on his sword.

Arriving at the familiar place, I went straight to the training room.

The problem of unstable Qi and blood should be addressed as soon as possible.

——

At four o'clock the next morning, Jiang Wuyuan hurriedly came out of the training room, tied his hair up high behind his head according to the method Ruan Kongyin had taught him the day before, changed into his academy uniform, had a simple breakfast, and headed straight for Jubaolou again.

Last night, Xu Qingyun sent him a message saying that he had heard that he was going out on a mission with the hunting group today, so he asked him to come and take away Devouring Star ahead of time.

After signing the contract, the two added each other as friends on the bracelet.

Jiang Wuyuan knew that his every move was being watched by the Zhan Tian Academy, and he understood such behavior.

As long as it doesn't hinder his growth, he is willing to accept and is very grateful for the care and help from his seniors.

So before dawn, Jiang Wuyuan went to Jubaolou to retrieve his Devouring Star.

The reforged Star Devourer is now a Tier 3 weapon.

Its dark blue blade is even more profound and mysterious, with silver fragments of boundary stone inlaid on the hilt, displaying a soft and bright luster.

Jiang Wuyuan was delighted with the sword. After thanking Xu Qingyun, he put it back into its case.

"The Star Devourer has excellent growth potential, with almost no limitations on its development," Xu Qingyun said with satisfaction. "I look forward to the day when it becomes a ninth-tier weapon."

"Thank you, I appreciate your kind words."

After destroying the contract, Jiang Wuyuan took his leave.

Ruan Kongyin set a very early meeting time, so Jiang Wuyuan didn't dare to hesitate after obtaining the Devouring Star and went straight to the Mission Pavilion.

It was just dawn, but a large crowd had already gathered in front of the mission pavilion.

Jiang Wuyuan glanced over and saw the signs of at least a dozen hunting groups.

Compared to yesterday's lively atmosphere, today's scene was much more serious, with almost no joking or laughing sounds.

Jiang Wuyuan followed the markings on the badge to the Dawn Hunting Group's meeting point and saw Yan Shengzi and the young man from yesterday.

Yan Shengzi's eyes lit up slightly when she saw Jiang Wuyuan: "Jiang, come here quickly."

Jiang Wuyuan nodded and walked over: "Senior Sister Yan."
