Thunder Dragon Soars to the Sky!
A sense of unease instantly surged in the alien's heart. It quickly recovered from Ruan Kongyin's mental interference, and a mad glint appeared in its eyes: "Since that's the case, then all of you shall die!"
The Demon's Three Palms - The Third, Darkness Descends!
The alien's eight arms throbbed simultaneously, and Jiang Wuyuan and Xu Angran, who were relatively close, were almost overturned by the dark aura that gathered around it.
"Xiao Yuan! Ang Ran! Retreat quickly!"
Xu Angran obediently sheathed her sword and was about to retreat when she saw Jiang Wuyuan take a step back to steady himself before charging forward again without hesitation.
Xu Angran's eyes widened: "What are you doing! Come back here!"
Jiang Wuyuan didn't even turn his head: "I have a way."
Before Xu Angran could say anything more, Ruan Kongyin couldn't hold back any longer and summoned a gentle breeze to pull Xu Angran back.
As for Jiang Wuyuan... Ruan Kongyin's gaze was deep.
He chose to believe.
The alien race's combined attacks grew increasingly massive, and a gigantic palm print formed from dark energy, almost blotting out the sky, appeared in mid-air.
Jiang Wuyuan gritted his teeth and used all his strength to activate the Dragon Step, just to leave more sword marks on the alien race.
In the last second, golden light shone brightly in Jiang Wuyuan's eyes, the dragon shadow became more solid, and a soul-stirring dragon roar was emitted.
The ultimate move of the Dragon Step – Dragon Slash!
Sensing the danger of this attack, the alien race's eyes flashed with madness, and they charged directly into the attack.
Blood splattered instantly as its four arms were shattered by the attack.
"Human! You deserve to die!!"
As the second part of "A Gentle Breeze" ended, Jiang Wuyuan vanished from its sight in an instant.
The next instant, Ruan Kongyin and Qin Tianan's attacks were aimed straight at the alien race's face.
Despite the pain of losing its arm, it slammed out its finally formed, towering hand.
A strong wind rose, and sand and stones flew everywhere.
Jiang Wuyuan returned to his original spot, nearly losing his footing due to the massive aftershock of the collision.
"Be careful." Ruan Kongyin quickly helped him up.
"I don't know if we can withstand it." Qin Tianan frowned as he looked at the two attacks that seemed to tear the heavens and earth apart, and nervously gripped the staff in his hand.
Jiang Wuyuan, on the other hand, had a faint smile on his lips.
"burst."
boom--
As if to celebrate Jiang Wuyuan's rare smile, the sword marks on the alien race's body, almost invisible to the naked eye, exploded instantly.
The environment for stacking sword marks was so good that Jiang Wuyuan didn't even know how many layers he had stacked.
To everyone's astonishment, the alien race was riddled with holes from the explosion.
Its body went limp and it slowly collapsed to the ground, even its eyes becoming clouded with shadows.
Jiang Wuyuan slightly raised his hand, and several long swords that had been prepared for a long time descended from the sky, directly piercing the alien's brain and heart, pinning it hard to the ground.
Dirty, reddish-black blood flowed from its wound, staining the yellow earth beneath it.
boom--
Another loud bang.
The attack, which had been deadlocked, was decided by the death of one side.
The tornado and thunder dragon, having exhausted much of their power, gradually dissipated into the world under the control of Ruan Kongyin and Qin Tianan.
The wind, carrying yellow sand, blew in, burying this land where a great battle had taken place.
Jiang Wuyuan was exhausted and took out two bottles of stamina potions to drink.
Fang Miao also took out several bottles of healing potions and gave them to Si Kai, who was still unconscious.
“This is my dereliction of duty,” Ruan Kongyin sighed. “I didn’t expect there to be a fourth-tier peak alien race here. I failed to investigate the situation beforehand.”
"You can't blame yourself for this. You were originally listed as a third-tier alien race on the mission description. Hmph, I didn't expect the information from the Mission Pavilion to be getting less and less reliable." Qin Tianan crossed his arms and said coldly.
"Yes, Commander Ruan, if it weren't for you, we might have been wiped out this time." Fang Miao's eyes seemed to well up with tears. She looked at Ruan Kongyin with sadness and shyness.
At this point, Xu Angran and Qin Tianan both glanced at Jiang Wuyuan.
This freshman definitely deserves the most credit.
Jiang Wuyuan didn't say much; he was used to being taciturn.
Besides, he's neither the captain nor the commander, so there's no need for him to speak.
Ruan Kongyin shook her head at Fang Miao: "The biggest hero this time is Xiao Yuan. Without him, you would all be dead by now."
"By the way, where's Yu Mian?" Xu Angran looked around in confusion.
“Here it is,” Yu Mian’s calm voice rang out. “I think you might want to take a look at your lower body.”
The people flying in the sky exchanged glances and then landed on the ground.
"Are you alright, Yu Mian?" Fang Miao asked him worriedly.
“No.” Yu Mian shook her head. “It was almost over when I arrived.”
The seven people reunited, and Si Kai, who had fallen into a coma, was carried on Xu Angran's back.
Si Kai's heavy armor was mostly destroyed by the explosion, so even though he looked bigger, he wasn't very heavy.
Jiang Wuyuan looked in the direction where Guo Tianming had died, his expression calm and indifferent.
Ruan Kongyin followed his gaze and seemed to understand something.
He didn't witness all of this firsthand, and he's faced many life-or-death situations, but this feeling...
Ruan Kongyin's words are hard to describe; perhaps they are filled with sorrow, or perhaps they are gratified by the glory of the soldiers who died on the battlefield.
“Yu Mian, you will take Tianming’s place and follow Fang Miao to purify the dark sludge. Ang Ran, come with me. Xiao Yuan, you stay here to protect them.”
Jiang Wuyuan nodded and followed Qin Tianan.
Ruan Kongyin led Xu Angran to continue clearing out the nearby monsters.
Qin Tianan glanced at Jiang Wuyuan standing next to him out of the corner of his eye, and pursed his lips: "I apologize for what I said before."
