Xiuzhu said seriously, "Even though I have broken the precepts, I can still turn to Buddha."
Chen Kuang smiled and said, "You mean, he just wants to preach to me?"
Xiuzhu nodded.
Chen Kuang said calmly: "Buddhism says that if you put down your butcher knife, you will become a Buddha instantly."
"But I have countless lives on my hands. These are my unfinished earthly ties. I let them go, but can those I killed also let go?"

Xiuzhu said firmly, "Once you break free from the fate of reincarnation, it means that everything that was born and destroyed by you will have nothing to do with you except yourself."
"Those you killed are still alive, and those you saved are still dead. You have no worries in life or after death."
"From now on, all worries are gone, and all obsessions are gone."
Chen Kuang didn't care much at first, but when he heard the latter part, his eyes suddenly fixed.
He slowly said: "Then...if they are already entangled——"
"What about luck, or destiny? Can it be stripped away?"
