Chapter 172 The Third Day

Chapter 172 The Third Day

The original case said: "Looking at the video at the scene, Chen Congyu seems to have fainted. The specific situation is still unclear. I have contacted the publisher of the video."

Jiang Xilin's face was solemn. "Call the police and check the road surveillance. They should be able to find out where Chen Yao and his men went."

Before leaving, Yuan An deliberately took a closer look at Jiang Xilin's reaction. He seemed to be tense. As someone who knew him very well, Yuan An knew that he was worried about Chen Congyu.

At this time, Yuan An suddenly remembered what Xue Mingrui said last time. Maybe she was right to ask Brother Jiang for help.

No matter how much hatred and dissatisfaction there is, I don't want the other person to be in danger.

Chen Congyu had been lying in the room. There was probably no electronic equipment in the room except for surveillance. The only way she could tell the time was the sky outside the window.

After the sky darkened, Chen Yao opened the door and came in, holding dinner in his hands.

Putting it down at the bedside, Chen Yao said, "I'll have the doctor check on you after dinner."

Chen Congyu was always on guard and spoke with veiled venom.

"Why are you checking? If I'm knocked out, won't you be able to do whatever you want?"

Chen Yao lowered his eyes to look at her and said calmly, "I don't want to see you get hurt."

Chen Congyu laughed out loud without hiding anything.

Chen Yao said helplessly: "I hope you are well, so eat your meal and recover soon."

"You want me to get better quickly so you can take me out, right?"

Chen Yao: "I don't want you to get hurt, it's you who always goes against me."

Chen Congyu was too lazy to continue.

Seeing her condition, Chen Yao simply said, "If you don't eat, I'll have to feed you myself."

Just as he was about to sit down, Chen Congyu said like a stressed cat, "I can do it myself!"

Chen Yao looked at her unwillingly and left in silence.

In fact, Shen Congyu didn't want to eat not only because she had no appetite, but also because she was afraid that Chen Yao would put something in it, so she had to remain vigilant.

So after Chen Yao left, Chen Congyu sat at the head of the bed with her legs hugged, not moving.

After a while, Chen Yao's voice suddenly rang out in the room through electronic equipment.

He was talking to her through the surveillance camera, "I have to go out for a while now. If you don't eat when I come back, don't blame me for tying you up and feeding you."

The feeling of having all her actions under his eyes all the time was too bad. Chen Congyu felt like she was naked and being stared at by him.

After Chen Yao finished speaking, there was no movement. Shen Congyu couldn't be sure if he had really gone out, and she didn't want to be tied up and fed. After hesitating for a long time, she chose to eat two mouthfuls of rice.

Just two sips would be enough to deal with Chen Yao. Even if he put drugs in it, two sips should be enough.

After that, Chen Yao didn't say anything else. Chen Congyu lay back in the quilt and covered herself from head to toe.

After an unknown amount of time, Chen Yao opened the door again, stood at the doorway and said to her, "The doctor is here."

When the doctor came to examine her, Chen Yao stood by and watched her intently, not giving her the slightest chance to say anything.

The doctor replaced the gauze patch on Shen Congyu's forehead, gave her some instructions, and left with Chen Yao accompanying her throughout the process.

This time, Shen Congyu got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

This was the first time she saw her current condition. Her face was pale, and the wound on her forehead had been treated so it was no longer visible. She just looked very haggard.

She still felt a little sore, probably from the collision.

The wound on her forehead hurt slightly, but it also kept her awake.

After leaving the bathroom, Chen Yao returned again. He looked at the almost untouched food on the bedside table and asked Chen Congyu: "Are you going on a hunger strike to force me? Do you really want to be tied up by me?"

Chen Congyu didn't look at him, but walked over and sat down. "I ate, but I just didn't have an appetite. Who would still be in the mood to eat in this situation?"

Chen Yao didn't know whether he really believed it, and his words were ambiguous.

"How are you going to recover if you don't eat?"

Chen Congyu said coldly: "What you made is too disgusting. I can't eat it today."

Chen Yao: "Okay, have a good rest tonight. I'll buy you whatever you want to eat tomorrow."

"I have no appetite now. Don't you understand what I'm saying?"

She wanted to ask him if he was really mentally ill. Would it be useful for him to say these words of concern for her now?

Chen Congyu had a cold face, and his whole body gave off an aura that showed that he didn't want to communicate with him or even look at him.

Chen Yao felt a tightness in his chest and urgently needed to find an outlet to vent.

But facing Chen Congyu, he still endured it.

"Okay, I get it. Just stay here and think about it."

There was no response. Chen Yao took a deep breath and brought the food out.

Chen Yao did not appear again until Chen Congyu fell asleep. Even so, she did not dare to let her guard down. She got out of bed and moved the single sofa to block the door, and placed a vase in front of the sofa, so that if Chen Yao sneaked in at night, he would make a noise.

After doing all this, Chen Congyu turned off the lights, left a table lamp on, wrapped himself tightly with a quilt, and leaned against the head of the bed.

Late at night, she couldn't resist the fatigue and fell asleep, but her brain remained alert and did not enter a deep sleep. She woke up several times to check the situation at the door.

The next day was almost the same process. Chen Yao brought her food, asked the doctor to change her dressing, and asked her if she had made up her mind.

Chen Congyu still didn't eat the food he brought her. When she was thirsty, she would rather drink water from the bathroom than touch the water he brought her.

Chen Yao saw it all, and even though he didn't show it, Shen Congyu could tell that he was tolerating her.

On the third day, Chen Congyu woke up hungry early in the morning. After realizing that another day had passed, he could not control his emotions and had negative fluctuations.

Looking at Chen Yao's condition, she really didn't know whether Jiang Xilin had made any movement.

She didn't know how much longer she could hold on like this.

Thinking of these two men, each one worse than the other, Shen Congyu burst into tears.

She was wiping her tears silently. Chen Yao probably saw it from the surveillance video and quickly pushed the door open.

"Why are you crying?"

As soon as he spoke, Shen Congyu turned his face away and wiped the moisture from the corners of his eyes.

Chen Yao was almost used to not getting a response.

He walked up to her without thinking, "Haven't you made up your mind yet? How long can you keep going like this?"

Chen Congyu closed his eyes and said, “If you don’t let me go, I would rather starve to death.”

Chen Yao laughed at her angry words, but he didn't care anymore.

He opened the bread and milk in his hands one by one, showing rare patience.

"You won't starve to death. I told you, if you don't eat, I'll feed you myself."

He held Shen Congyu's chin and poured milk into her mouth.

Before he could touch it, Chen Congyu spilled the milk.

It quickly soaked the quilt next to it.

Chen Yao watched quietly, picked up the milk carton, and wiped the wet area with a tissue.

After doing all this, he said, "You are really disobedient. It seems that you really need me to tie you up before you behave."
