Chapter 19 Still not doing it?
Before Chen Congyu had time to get into Qi Ming's car, he answered a phone call and looked visibly panicked.
He quickly comforted the other person, "Don't worry, I'll be there now."
Shen Congyu looked at him, and as expected, he left her behind.
An unreliable man.
There was no taxi available, so Shen Congyu had to walk out first. As she walked along the roadside, she wanted to go back and explain things to Qi Ming, hoping that he would keep his word.
A car drove up from afar on the quiet road and stopped beside Shen Congyu. Before she could react, the car window rolled down, revealing Jiang Xilin's familiar face.
He questioned her: "Didn't I tell you to wait for me in the car?"
Shen Congyu didn’t expect him to come out so soon. She couldn’t help but look back, not wanting to be seen.
“I wasn’t looking at my phone.”
Jiang Xilin frowned, as if pondering the credibility.
He still said, “Get in the car.”
Chen Congyu didn't move, "You go, I can take a taxi back by myself."
She refused without a second thought, knowing in her heart that Jiang Xilin definitely wasn't so kind as to send her back.
Jiang Xilin: "Do you want me to go down and invite you?"
It seemed like another car was coming. Judging from Jiang Xilin's expression, if she didn't get in the car, he would stay here and wait for her.
Chen Congyu just walked on two legs, and no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't beat him.
As the sound of other cars approaching got closer, Shen Congyu bit her lip anxiously and looked at Jiang Xilin, who remained unmoved.
Chen Congyu finally opened the car door and got in.

"What if someone sees us? Isn't your girlfriend still here?"

Jiang Xilin picked up the phone, and a woman's voice came through the car's Bluetooth.
"I didn't see you. Did you leave first?"
Chen Congyu didn't recognize the voice, but she saw Jiang Xilin's caller note on the display: Ke.
Duan Ke.
Chen Congyu pinched his palm and turned his face to the side to look outside.
Jiang Xilin: "Well, something happened."
"Well, I was thinking of going to a newly opened restaurant with you later. It should suit your taste."
Jiang Xilin: "Tomorrow? I'll pick you up."
Duan Ke: "Okay, then you drive, I'll go talk to Zhenzhen."
Jiang Xilin: "Okay."
It was a very brief conversation, but you could tell that the two people got along very well and naturally.
Duan Ke sounded like a person with a good personality, and Jiang Xilin's attitude towards her was completely different from usual.
