When will Chapter 30 be released next?

When will Chapter 30 be released next?

Jiang Xinglan knew nothing about what was happening in Haishi.

I just kept organizing data and preparing materials, and finally sent the materials to the editor on the last day of September.

Jiang Xinglan looked at the message displayed on her computer screen: "Email successfully sent."

I glanced at the time; there was still some time before the movie started, so I had plenty of time.

Jiang Xinglan quickly tidied herself up and drove to the cinema.

After all, this is the first and most likely only film for which I serve as an advisor, so I have to support it no matter what.

When Jiang Xinglan arrived at the cinema, she found it quite crowded. Was this due to the fan effect?

Jiang Xinglan picked up her ticket and casually found a seat.

While checking the time on my phone, I also put it on silent.

Just then, two girls carrying large bags walked over. "Excuse me, is this place taken?"

Jiang Xinglan looked up, shook her head, and said, "No."

"Great!" The two put the things on the table, and one of the girls took out her phone, fiddled with it for a while, and even took a picture.

Before long, people started arriving one after another. One of the two girls was responsible for verifying the information, and the other for distributing the items.

Jiang Xinglan couldn't figure out what was being promoted, but she thought the packaging design was quite nice.

Moreover, they were quite orderly, arriving in twos and threes, rather than all rushing over at once.

"It seems like we've distributed almost all of them." A girl counted the number of items in the bag.

"Well, a few more won't arrive for a while, so we can go in later."

The two took two more out of the bag, opened the packaging, took out the badges, and pinned them to their clothes.

"Sister, this is for you." The girl in charge of checking handed a badge to Jiang Xinglan.

"No need, just leave it for whoever needs it." Jiang Xinglan declined the two girls' offer.

The exquisite packaging alone shows that a lot of thought and effort has been put into it.

"Please accept this, sister," the girl in charge of distributing the food advised. "There was traffic on the way here, so I couldn't get a seat with a table."

"Luckily, my sister was willing to let us use the table, otherwise we would have had to squat on the ground to distribute the food, which would have been too embarrassing."

Jiang Xinglan glanced at the two girls and said, "Alright then, I'll accept them."

She took out the badge, which featured a cute little figure. "But who is this?"

"Shen Yuheng!" the two girls answered in unison. "Sister, do you know him?"

"Huh? Is that so?" Jiang Xinglan looked at the badge in her hand again.

“Yes,” the girl took out her phone, opened a photo, and held it in front of Jiang Xinglan, “it was drawn based on this one.”

Jiang Xinglan compared them and said, "Looking at them now, they do look somewhat similar."

Jiang Xinglan carefully wrapped the badge again and put it in her bag. "Thank you. I'll be leaving for a bit."

After getting up, she first went to the restroom, and when she returned to the lobby, she went to the counter, ordered two glasses of juice, and gave them to the two girls, saying, "Thank you for the badges."

"Sister, no need!"

"It's only fair to reciprocate." Jiang Xinglan smiled, her tone gentle yet firm.

"Okay, thank you, sister." The two girls took the juice, but then took some small souvenirs from their bags and gave them to Jiang Xinglan. "We're just returning the favor!"

Jiang Xinglan chuckled, "Alright, I can't take any more. You guys keep them, I'm going to line up."

"Does your sister also watch 'Starlight Never Fades'?"

Jiang Xinglan nodded.

After Jiang Xinglan left, the two girls exchanged another glance.

"Don't you think this woman looks a little familiar?"

"Hmm, but I can't remember where I've seen it before."

"Wait!" The girl in charge of checking picked up her phone, pulled out a group photo of the film crew, and showed it to another girl.

"This..." The two looked at the juice in their hands, somewhat surprised.

---

Jiang Xinglan was quickly immersed in the movie after it started.

The film tells the story of researchers in different fields through several segments. There are moments of laughter, but most of the stories are filled with failure and loneliness.

As a fellow researcher, Jiang Xinglan naturally understands every choice they make, and also understands their silence in the face of failure.

As soon as the lights in the theater came on, Jiang Xinglan subconsciously squinted, but then heard a scream.

She slowly opened her eyes, and the person she had just seen on the screen appeared right in front of her.

Jiang Xinglan's vision gradually blurred.

If these predecessors could see the country today, they would surely feel happy and gratified.

Shen Yuheng received Jiang Xinglan's photo on his way home after the roadshow, and only then did he realize that Jiang Xinglan had also been there.

"The movie was great, and your appearance was a pleasant surprise."

Was Teacher Jiang present just now?

Shen Yuheng asked Wei Yu for the group photo after the roadshow.

It was only thanks to the use of a professional camera that Shen Yuheng was able to find it.

Group photo +1, not bad!

"Since I helped direct the film, I should at least come and check on the results!"

Where is Teacher Jiang now?

Shen Yuheng calculated that it had been almost a month since he and she had last seen each other.

"Just got off at the parking lot."

"How about we have dinner together later to celebrate the box office surpassing 100 million?" Shen Yuheng asked.

Upon receiving the message, Jiang Xinglan immediately thought of the previously postponed verification, but she had already promised to go home for dinner today.

"No, I have to go home today."

"Okay, then we'll have to wait until next time. Driving safely, Teacher Jiang."

"Okay." Jiang Xinglan put her phone aside and tapped her fingers lightly on the steering wheel.

Next time?

When is the next time?

Jiang Xinglan shook her head but then suddenly stopped. Was she also looking forward to the next time?

This feeling of anticipation is somewhat similar to, yet different from, the anticipation of receiving a reply from a journal editor.

Is this kind of expectation also a manifestation of "liking"?

With this question in mind, Jiang Xinglan returned home.

Not long after, Jiang Xinglan's incredulous voice rang out in the living room.

"Mom, did I hear that right?" Jiang Xinglan frowned, unable to understand Lin Zhi's thoughts. "Me? A romance novel?"

“Yes, there are a lot of people this time, from all walks of life, so I’ll register you…” Lin Zhi paused for a moment.

Jiang Xinglan opened her mouth, about to refute.

"Listen to me first," Lin Zhi pulled Jiang Xinglan to sit down, "Didn't you say before that you wanted to get to know people and see if there were any suitable people around you?"

"Um."

"It's been so long, how come there's not even a trace of them!"

"Mom, it's only been... five months!"

"Look at Su Wan! She's already in a relationship, and look at yourself!"

"Mom, how did you know?" Jiang Xinglan blinked; she had deliberately not told Lin Zhi about it.

That's the day I'm most afraid of.

“I added Su Wan as a friend before,” Lin Zhi explained, “so that I can contact her in time if anything happens!”

"Oh, I see," Jiang Xinglan asked, "Mom, when did you add this? I didn't even know!"

"It seems so... Don't change the subject!" Lin Zhi crossed her arms, seeing through Jiang Xinglan's little scheme. "Anyway, I've already registered you."

"Mom, what do you think I should do there?" Jiang Xinglan sighed. "I'd rather use that time to do some experiments!"

Jiang Xinglan leaned back on the sofa, trying to persuade Lin Zhi.

Do you know what it means to like someone?

Do you know how to date?

Do you know what it's like to be in a relationship?

“…”

Jiang Xinglan was speechless after being stumped by these questions.

But that didn't stop Shen Yuheng's face from flashing through her mind.

If she knew, she wouldn't have needed to design a special experiment to verify it.

Perhaps, there's no need to rack our brains here trying to change Ms. Lin's mind!

"See? You didn't know." Lin Zhi knew the answer just by looking at Jiang Xinglan's expression.

She gave her an "I knew it" look. "So, why don't you just treat it as a learning experience, a chance to observe up close?"

Jiang Xinglan was somewhat tempted, but still wanted to resist a little. "Can't I just watch the broadcast directly?"

"How can that be the same?" Lin Zhi immediately retorted, full of disapproval. "The broadcast versions are all edited, not objective facts, which will affect your judgment."

"So, Mom signed me up as an observer?" Jiang Xinglan asked.

“Yes, that’s right!” Lin Zhi nodded. “I called the production team and asked them to give you a spot so you can learn up close.”

"Should we just call the production team?"

“Yes, this program was planned by your brother’s company,” Lin Zhi said. “It’s their own program, otherwise I wouldn’t have let you participate.”

"I'll think about it," Jiang Xinglan said, then went straight back to her room.

Lin Zhi watched Jiang Xinglan go upstairs before taking out her phone to call the production team, repeatedly instructing them not to reveal any information to Jiang Xinglan or Jiang Yunye.

Jiang Xinglan sat on the sofa in the bedroom, deep in thought.

It's not impossible to participate.

Although there are huge individual differences when it comes to dating, we can still draw some basic conclusions.

Moreover, in the observation room, one can communicate with others in a timely manner.

Surely none of the members in the observation room are completely without dating experience.

You can gain more experience by communicating with experienced people.

Jiang Xinglan thought about it more and more and felt that this seemed like a good idea.

After the film's release, it received unanimous praise. Coupled with the recent awards and Best Actor nomination for "Against the Current," Shen Yuheng's team has welcomed many new "Hengxing" (stars).

[@珩星-小熊饼干: I don't understand, why does my brother's activity count sometimes increase, but I don't see any new activity?]

"I know the answer to this question! Here's a link to the video for more information."

"My brother said he didn't want to create a secondary account, so we're just recording our thoughts and feelings here as well, but we won't make them public. It might feel strange at first, but you'll get used to it!"

[@珩星-小熊饼干: I have another question. #StarTrailsFragments# is a topic my brother shares about his daily life, right?]

"Theoretically, yes, but there are new speculations recently, maybe it's a secret love diary."

"Take a look at @KeXuejia, and you'll understand after reading it."

"What! A crush? No way, I just became a fan and I'm already heartbroken???"

"Welcome new star, but just focus on your brother's work! He has never tried to cultivate a boyfriend persona!"

"I've finished watching it and come back, but that doesn't prove anything, does it?"

"It's true that I can't say anything, but my brother has never been involved in any scandals. The only one was with that teacher Jiang from before, although he quickly clarified it."

"But don't you guys think that a lot of what my brother shared was related to that teacher? I remember he also shared an introduction to physics!"

"I remember that. I even thought someone suggested my brother watch the latest version!"

"Which Teacher Jiang is it?"

"Directions: @JiangXinglan, @HengXing-WorkingMan. New HengXing members, check out the popular posts; most questions can be answered there. I'm off to work now!"

"I'm back! I worship the great god!"

"Worship the master +1"

"Why is it starting again!?"

[Hengxing - Don't Want to Go to Work: Seriously, when @Hengxingxingqiu and @Hengyuzhouguanzhan were giving out merchandise today, the person sitting next to them looked like Teacher Jiang!]

Do you have any photos?

"No."

"What? Do you seem difficult to get along with?"

"No, I just forgot."

“…”

"@Hengxing Planet @Heng Universe Observatory, was that really Teacher Jiang today?"

"Yes, and it's not as serious as you think, it's very easy to get along with."

"Qiuqiu and I originally gave Teacher Jiang some merchandise as a thank you for letting us distribute it. Later, Teacher Jiang even treated us to juice in return! (Picture)"

Wow! She truly lives up to her goddess title!

"When did I become your goddess?! Did you switch your allegiance?!"

"What do you mean by 'climbing the wall'? I'm a biology student, and Professor Jiang is my idol. I even signed up for her class this semester!"

"How was it? How was it!"

"It hasn't even started yet, classes won't begin until the second semester! Hmm, if you think about it that way, my brother and I are practically classmates!"

"I'll repeat myself! That's not how you use rounding!"

The posts, one after another, dazzled New Star.

I quickly opened the popular posts and started catching up on the information while "digesting" it.

Meanwhile, Zhou Cuo's expression grew increasingly grim as he looked at the posts in the group.

Want to see a movie?

Zhou Cuo recalled again that he and Jiang Xinglan had known each other for so many years, yet they had never watched a movie together.

Damn it! What have I done in the past?!

Seeing Zhou Cuo's gloomy face, which looked like it was about to drip ink, Song Huai said, "Why are you doing this?"
