Chapter 13 Really Ugly

Moonlight streamed through the window and shone on the basin of water, revealing the terrifying face of a woman.

Su Wan stared at her reflection in the water, remaining silent for a long time.

The face in the mirror looked as if it had been painted white, with a blood-red lip print painted diagonally across it. The eyebrows were short and thick, and arched upwards. This makeup reminded her of a kabuki performer from a certain island nation.

If it were truly Kabuki makeup, that would be fine, but she had several bumps on her forehead from being hit by the bridal sedan chair, and her hair was all frizzy. At first glance, she really did look like a vengeful ghost.

No wonder the assassin said she looked like a hanged ghost; it's a miracle she didn't scare people to death with that ghostly appearance.

Granny Cui was alright, at least she had seen her true face. But for Wei Jingzhuo to say she was passable when he first saw her was truly a challenge.

Because he praised her, she forgave Wei Jingzhuo's rude behavior towards her earlier.

She bent down, scooped up some water, and began to wash away the messy makeup from her face. She changed the water several times before her stunningly beautiful face gradually became clear.

The bump on her forehead was quite noticeable, but it didn't detract from her beautiful and refined appearance.

She smiled contentedly, took out a box of anti-inflammatory and analgesic ointment from the pharmacy, and gently applied it to her forehead. It felt cool and refreshing, and had a faint floral scent, which smelled very nice.

She then rummaged through her dowry and found a small white box, which was perfect as a medicine box. After putting the ointment inside, Su Wan also put in all the medicines that Wei Jingzhuo used.

There was a pot of rice porridge on the kitchen stove. She heated it up, took a couple of bites, and found it tasteless. So she took some minced meat from the apartment's refrigerator, stir-fried it, and cooked it with the rice porridge to make a pot of lean meat porridge.

After drinking two bowls of meat porridge, she got up to go see Wei Jingzhuo in the room.

The IV drip was almost finished, and she skillfully changed to another bag.

Wei Jingzhuo's complexion gradually returned to normal. Knowing that this method worked, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

Half an hour later, all three bags of IV fluid were finished. Su Wan cleaned up and threw the empty bags into the pharmacy's trash can.

She took Wei Jingzhuo's pulse one last time, and it was now steady and strong.

The three packets of medicine are really effective. I'll just need to urinate more often to gradually flush out the toxins from my body.

But what if this person accidentally spills water on the bed after receiving so much IV fluid?

After thinking for a moment, she had no choice but to take out another urine collection device from the pharmacy.

After unpacking and reading the instructions, she assembled the parts according to the instructions, then decisively lifted Wei Jingzhuo's clothes, tore off his pants, and even removed the last piece of clothing covering him, revealing his impressive assets.

Su Wan: "..."

Suddenly seeing this thing in front of her, she really didn't know where to start.

Although she was a medical doctoral student before she transmigrated and frequently observed human anatomy, she had never done anything like this for anyone. Moreover, she had always been focused on her studies and had never even been in a relationship, let alone seen such a thing.

Embarrassed, she picked up Wei Jingzhuo's impressive assets, placed them into the urine collection device, secured it, and then pulled over a thin blanket to cover Wei Jingzhuo.

She was pulling the blanket up with both hands when she suddenly met a pair of dark, deep eyes.

Good heavens! When did this person wake up? They didn't even make a sound.

Did he see everything I just did?

Thinking about what she had just done, she almost threw the urine collection device at his face.

"You...cough...when did you wake up?" Su Wan asked, her face flushed.

Wei Jingzhuo felt ashamed and angry, a hint of anger appearing on his handsome face. However, his body was weak and powerless, so he could only turn his head away and say coldly, "Take that thing away."

Su Wan: "..."

This patient is really something else; he can't get out of bed on his own. He won't let others take care of him, so let him just wet the bed then.

She had already thought of what to say, but she was so embarrassed that she opened her mouth several times, but the words that came out were something else entirely.

"I'll go prepare some food for you." She said, then dashed to the door, leaning against the doorframe as she turned back and said, "Take it yourself if you want, just pull it out."

What a joke. She could pretend not to know when he was asleep, but now that he's awake, asking her to do *that* again? Dream on.

Wei Jingzhuo glanced down at the strange thing hanging on his lower body, his face cold, and laboriously raised his hand to pull it out.

Then he picked it up and examined it closely.

This thing is made of some unknown material; it's both tough and soft, and even transparent, including the tube. This is something the Great Jin Dynasty wouldn't possess. Remembering the Righteous Qi Divine Water she mentioned before, could this also be part of her dowry?

Why would there be a dowry item placed on a man's private parts? That's so strange.

The thought of that woman putting this thing on him without batting an eye made him feel extremely uncomfortable.

He unfolded the entire urine collection device and carefully examined its purpose, his expression growing increasingly grim as he looked at it.

When he finally understood what it was, he froze.

This woman is truly audacious...

After thinking for a long time, I still couldn't find a way to describe it, so I angrily threw the things aside.

After Su Wan ran out the door, she patted her face.

This was the first time she had ever encountered such an embarrassing situation.

She rubbed her face and looked up at the sky. The sky was filled with stars, and the bright moon hung high. When she saw the scene in the courtyard by the moonlight, she was utterly stunned.

this……

She had expected that the life of a deposed crown prince would be difficult, but she never imagined it would turn out like this.

The yard was full of weeds, which had grown almost up to my waist, and some of them looked to be nearly a meter tall.
