Wei Jingzhuo hugged her tightly and whispered, "Awan, it's all my fault. I was distracted by the Lin family's affairs."
Su Wan said, "It's alright, I'm just glad to see you safe. I was really scared, I thought you got into that carriage."
Wei Jingzhuo asked, "What carriage?"
Su Wan quickly told him about Xie Maoliang and Ge Fanghai's conspiracy, including using the Western Rong army to attack Youzhou and planting explosives.
Two soldiers brought Ge Fanghai over. Wei Jingzhuo turned to look at Ge Fanghai and said, "Did you and Xie Maoliang plant explosives on the Shence vehicle?"
Wei Jingzhuo wore a butterfly mask, so Ge Fanghai couldn't see his expression, but his words were filled with murderous intent, making Ge Fanghai tremble like a leaf. Ignoring the pain in his shoulder, he knelt down and kowtowed, saying, "General Jade Face, spare my life! This was General Xie's plan."
Wei Jingzhuo lifted the cloak behind his back with his left hand, revealing it to cover Su Wan's eyes. With his right hand, he drew the long sword from his waist and plunged it into Ge Fanghai's throat.
Without even glancing at Ge Fanghai's corpse, Wei Jingzhuo turned around, holding Su Wan, and said, "Wan, my grandfather and I were originally traveling together in the Shence chariot. Halfway there, Lin Qingfeng told me that Xie Maoliang had led his soldiers to besiege Suiyang City last night. That's why I led my cavalry here."
Su Wan was shocked and exclaimed, "Grandfather is in the car? Oh no, we have to go and inform him quickly!"
Wei Jingzhuo pulled her back. His voice remained calm, but Su Wan could hear a hint of sorrow in it.

Wei Jingzhuo said, "Prince Danma is imprisoned in Suiyang City, guarded by Xie Maoliang's two thousand soldiers. My current forces are insufficient to fight against him, and I cannot rescue the prince for the time being. I will send troops to rescue him later."
Chu Mingyao said, "General Wei, there's no need to worry. They wouldn't dare do anything to His Highness. The most important thing now is for us to get to Youzhou as soon as possible and stop the Western Rong army from advancing further."

She and Wei Jingzhuo arrived at the mountain, searching left and right but couldn't find Chu Yi anywhere. She quickly asked the captain of the guards, who was bandaging his wounds, "Where's Brother Chu? Where did he go?"
The captain of the guards looked up and around, bewildered, and said, "They were just here a moment ago, how come they're gone?"
