Before leaving, she turned back and waved to Wei Jingzhuo with a smile: "Ah Jin, I'm leaving. Remember, if you need anything, you can have Qingfeng come to Baohetang to find me."
The moonlight shone on her smile, making her small face appear even brighter and more carefree.
Wei Jingzhuo squinted and slowly lowered the carriage curtain.
Su Wan didn't mind that he didn't reply. Soon she would be able to see Su Yuze, and once she raised him to adulthood, she would be free.
Lin Qingfeng, leading the little donkey, looked sullen.
He had thought that his master and Miss Su would live a good life together, but he never expected that they would separate so soon.
Does this mean that the master is destined to be alone for the rest of his life?
The two remained silent the entire way, with only Su Wan still able to appreciate the beautiful scenery of the fields late at night.
Although it's only July, the nights in the Northwest are already quite chilly.
The wind rustled through the grass, and the air was exceptionally fresh on the desolate path. The only regret was that the moonlight was extremely faint.
Lin Qingfeng remained silent.

"Not good!" Lin Qingfeng drew his sword from his waist. "It's the enemy, Madam. Go find the master quickly. I'll handle things here."
Su Wan estimated that there were more than ten people in total. With so many people, Lin Qingfeng would be committing suicide if he went up now.
Although she didn't know his fighting prowess, she knew that even the strongest man couldn't defeat a group of people.
She quickly took some anesthetic from the pharmacy.
"Qingfeng, here you go. If you can't beat them, just stab them," she patted the donkey's back. "I'm leaving now."
It wasn't that she didn't want to save Lin Qingfeng, but rather that she lacked martial arts skills. The things she had were only enough to deal with one or two people, not so many.
It was good enough that she wasn't holding Lin Qingfeng back. She patted the donkey's back vigorously, and only then did she realize that she should have changed to a horse in the first place.
Lin Qingfeng watched her walk away and then went to meet her.
"Guard Lin, we meet again!"
