What are you doing to the seventh brother?
"Acupuncture, I'm getting acupuncture right now."
"You...you filthy men, how dare you barge in! None of you leave!"
"Look! There's a silver needle stuck in the back of Seventh Brother's neck!"
"Quickly, grab her! She is Wei Jingzhuo's wife, Su Wan!"
"Sister-in-law, please help me!"
A man's loud shout rang out from inside the room, followed by overturned tables and chairs, interspersed with a woman's screams.
The noise startled not only the customers queuing upstairs, but also the customers dining in the lobby downstairs, who all looked up.
Lin Qingfeng, who was sitting in the lobby, immediately stood up and shouted when he heard the commotion: "Protect the madam!"
The disguised guards drew their weapons and rushed upstairs, only to be blocked by the people fleeing downstairs.
There was a loud bang in the examination room, as if the window inside had been smashed. Then there was another loud bang, and the wooden door of the examination room was smashed into pieces. A figure flew out, broke the second-floor railing, and fell headfirst down.
The customers dining in the lobby gasped in surprise and stood up to avoid the commotion, spilling food and drinks all over the floor.
Seeing that the man's head was about to hit the ground, Lin Qingfeng quickly reached out and flicked the man's body, flipping him halfway through the air so that his head wouldn't hit the ground.
The man landed safely on the ground, clutching his chest in pain as he gasped for breath. He drew a curved knife and roared, "Those who block my way shall die!" before charging toward the main entrance.
Lin Qingfeng's eyes immediately turned red when he saw the curved blade.
The eight guards sent to pick up Su Yuze were all brothers he had spent every day with. Now that his enemy was right in front of him, how could he possibly let him go?
He drew his longsword, kicked two tables away in quick succession, and smashed them in front of the man.
Seeing that his path was blocked and having no time to find a way around, the man had no choice but to brandish his scimitar and fight Lin Qingfeng.
There was a series of loud bangs and crashes coming from the room upstairs. Su Wan rushed out and, holding onto the broken railing, shouted, "Qingfeng, hold on!"
Lin Qingfeng said, "Don't worry, Mistress, I can handle it!"
Su Wan pointed outside the inn and shouted to the guards at the bottom of the stairs, "Go outside and catch them! Someone was knocked out of the window by my sworn sister and fell down."
The guards rushed to the main gate.
After Su Wan finished giving her instructions, she heard a loud bang from the room behind her, like the sound of bones breaking.
Meng Ruliu rushed out of the room, holding two iron hammers, and said to Su Wan, "Sister-in-law, the one inside has been dealt with. I'll come and help Guard Lin."
Lin Qingfeng's swordsmanship was skillful, and he had already cornered the man. The man swung his sword several times in quick succession, his swordsmanship fierce and ruthless. Seeing the overwhelming force of the attack, Lin Qingfeng leaped away to dodge the opponent's blade.
Meng Ruliu watched closely from upstairs, then with a flick of her right hand, the iron hammer flew out of her hand.
The man, already aware of Meng Ruliu's extraordinary strength after being kicked off the second floor, was surprised to learn of this particular move. Seeing the hammer hurtling down, he had no time to dodge and was struck in the chest, immediately collapsing to the ground.
After the chaos subsided, Lin Qingfeng led his guards to inspect each item.
There were four people on the other side. Besides the injured one, one person was kicked out of the window by Meng Ruliu, landing on his head and falling into a deep coma; it was unknown whether he would wake up. Another person had his ribs broken by a flying hammer and died. A third person had his head smashed open and also died.
After all that commotion, Su Wan still had to interrogate the one lying in bed.
This interrogation went much more smoothly.
