"Brother Chu, that's still a bit dangerous," she said softly. "Let's try stealing the defensive gun first."
Chu Yi nodded, turned over and left the broken tower, then climbed down the back side.
Jiang Yan walked into the courtyard and wandered around aimlessly. Chu Yi, hiding at the bottom of the tower, observed Jiang Yan's actions.

Jiang Yan seemed to take the defensive rifle very seriously. The moment Chu Yi's hand gripped the barrel, Jiang Yan pressed his hand firmly onto the rifle as well. He turned and roared at Chu Yi, spitting all over his face. His other hand whistled through the air as he grabbed it.
"Watch out!" Su Wan shouted.
Chu Yi was prepared. He released his grip, ducked to avoid the sweeping claw, turned and ran, shouting, "Madam Su, we can't steal it now. Here's another way."
He had just leaped onto the wall when Jiang Yan caught up.
Jiang Yan didn't use a defensive gun, nor did he leap like Chu Yi, simply smashing the courtyard wall to pieces with his claws. Chu Yi had already flown down the wall and ran off into the distance, calling out, "Patriarch Jiang, how about we go to the mountaintop to enjoy the scenery?"
Jiang Yan screamed repeatedly, giving chase. The two, one fleeing and the other pursuing, disappeared into the darkness.
Su Wan was a little worried, but Chu Yi had escaped from Jiang Yan before, so he should be alright. She managed to get down from the broken tower and ran towards the treatment room.
