When Su Wan arrived at the laboratory entrance, it was already bright outside, and the sun was high in the sky.
The glaring sunlight made her uncomfortable, so she raised her hand to shield her eyes and saw Jiang Wenpei standing outside the door, looking at the glittering gold and silver jewelry scattered on the ground, deep in thought.
After talking with Zhang Ying, she was no longer surprised. This Jiang Wenpei was clearly a new clone.
Unlike Zhang Ying, who only changed bodies, they don't seem to retain their previous memories.
“Mr. Jiang,” she said, walking to the door, “what are you looking at here?”
Jiang Wenpei was startled and turned to look at her. When he saw the Resurrection Pendant on her chest, he cupped his hands and said, "So you are the goddess. I apologize for being lost in thought."
Su Wan asked, "Seeing all this gold and silver treasure on the ground, what should we do?"
Jiang Wenpei said, “The goddess is right. Everyone loves money. These treasures obviously belong to someone. I don’t know what to do with them. If I take them without permission, it will be considered as hiding them. If the owner comes to me and says that I have hidden some items, I will have no way to defend myself. But if I leave them here, this place needs to be cleaned up.”
Su Wan said, "These are all my dowry, I need to pack them up."
With a flick of her sleeve, she used her mind to gather all the jewelry scattered on the floor back into the apartment, not even forgetting the broken boxes.
Jiang Wenpei stared in disbelief and said, "Is this the divine power of the Resurrection Pendant? It's truly unbelievable."
Su Wan walked outside and said, "Mr. Jiang, the Creator has agreed to treat my husband. I need to take him into the operating room first. Then I need to find someone. Could you get me a boat?"
She needed to find Bai Zhiyi to retrieve those life-giving factors, but she had to find Bai Zhiyi first. However, she only remembered that Bai Zhiyi and Xie Maoliang had traveled downstream by boat; she didn't know exactly where they had gone.
Jiang Wenpei, standing beside her, asked, "Who is the goddess going to see?"
Su Wan said, "This is a matter between the Creator and me, Mr. Jiang, you don't need to know. You and the Jiang family master should fully cooperate with me."
Neither Jiang Yan nor Jiang Wenpei were qualified to meet Zhang Ying; at most, they could receive instructions, so they naturally wouldn't understand the concept of life factors. She didn't need to explain; she just needed them to cooperate.
Jiang Wenpei nodded repeatedly and said, "The patriarch and I will naturally obey the goddess's orders. But the Holy Land doesn't have any ships... Sigh, if only that thing hadn't been lost. Let me go and ask the patriarch for a solution."
Su Wan said, "Sir, please go find the head of the family in front. I'm going to push A-Jin inside now."
She broke up with Jiang Wenpei and came to the house next to the herb garden.
Chu Yi and his sister Chu Mingyao stood at the door. Chu Yi had his hands behind his head and was looking up at the sky, while Chu Mingyao was sitting on a stool by the door. When she saw her arrive, Chu Mingyao stood up and greeted her, saying, "Sister, why have you been inside for so long? We couldn't go in to find you, and we were getting anxious waiting for you."
Su Wan smiled and said, "It's nothing, I just talked to the person who was having surgery."
Chu Yi leaned closer and said, "Could this be the person who cured me? Is the person male or female? They must be quite old?"
Su Wan said, "It is indeed very big, probably over five hundred years old, an old bastard who won't die."
After saying that, she went into the room.
Chu Yi scratched his head from behind and said, "No wonder you were able to cure me, you're over five hundred years old?"
Chu Mingyao said, "Seventh brother, you too. Can't you tell that your sister is joking? There's no one in this world who can live to be five hundred years old. These are secrets of the divine physician family. We must be careful with our words and actions in the Holy Land and not ask too many questions."
Su Wan pushed Wei Jingzhuo out and said to Lin Qingfeng, who was following behind, "Qingfeng, you don't need to come along. I will take Ajin into the operating room." Lin Qingfeng nodded and saw him off.
Chu Mingyao asked, "Is that divine physician going to perform surgery on His Highness?"
Su Wan said, "Yes, during the time I'm having surgery, I need to leave the Holy Land temporarily. Where in Southern Chu can I find ships?"
Chu Yi said, "Madam Su, there are large ships at the mouth of the Gui River, but the floodwaters rush downstream from there. Even if we can build a raft, I'm afraid we won't be able to go upstream."
Seeing that she couldn't get a result from the questioning, Su Wan decided to put the matter aside for the time being and pushed Wei Jingzhuo into the operating room.
Zhang Ying's voice echoed from the ceiling of the operating room: "Su Wan, you can leave Wei Jingzhuo here. Go find Bai Zhiyi to retrieve your life factor."
Su Wan said, "Why don't you check on A-Jin's condition first?"
Zhang Ying said, "You hate me so much, I wouldn't dare show my face in front of you. After you leave the consultation room, I will close all the passageways and not let anyone in. Don't worry, since we have already made a deal, I will keep my word."
Su Wan said, "But the entire Jinhua Mountain is surrounded by floods, and there are no boats. How can I leave?"
Zhang Ying said, "That's easy... Although the memories aren't pleasant, I can still tell you. Do you know how your mother escaped from here back then?"
Su Wan said, "I don't know, didn't you have powerful trackers? How come they didn't work?"
Zhang Ying smiled and said, "No matter how powerful the trackers are, they can only deal with people on the ground."
Su Wan was taken aback and looked up, saying, "You mean my mother... flew away in the sky back then?"
"Yes. You've met Jiang Wenpei and know he has the ability to control beasts, right?"
“I’ve seen him control tigers.”
“He can not only control tigers, but he can actually control all birds and beasts,” Zhang Ying said confidently. “Nineteen years ago, your mother got very close to Jiang Wenpei and tricked him into giving her a whistle. Jiang Wenpei was good in every way, except that he was a little too obedient. Your mother took the whistle and ran away with it.”
