After confirming the location, she smiled happily: "Cousin, I'm about to start. Enjoy yourself."
Before she finished speaking, she aimed at the acupoint and quickly inserted the hairpin, treating it as an acupuncture practice.
Yang Yaozu didn't even utter a sound. Staring with disbelief in his eyes, he slid straight off the chair.
Su Wan looked at the person lying on the ground, kicked him hard twice, and feeling that wasn't enough, she picked up the steamed bun on the table and slammed it hard on Yang Yaozu's forehead, instantly giving him a big bump.
Yang Yaozu was so dizzy from the impact that he saw stars, but he couldn't move and could only stare at Su Wan, who was smiling and chatting in front of him.
"Cousin, is it comfortable?" Su Wan smiled. "I forgot to tell you, cousin, lust is a dangerous thing. Your cousin is no innocent flower. If you mess with me, you'll get your kidneys ripped off."
She made a scissor gesture on Yang Yaozu's kidney, which startled him so much that he trembled all over.
Su Wan glanced at him with disgust, then her gaze lingered on his lower body.
Let's forget about the kidneys. This guy's been indulging in sex for so long, he probably won't have any healthy kidneys anyway. We should get rid of the root of this trouble first, so he won't go around ruining decent girls later.
She rummaged through the trunk and found a pair of scissors, then began snipping away as she walked towards Yang Yaozu.
Yang Yaozu saw through her intention and turned pale with fright. Seeing Su Wan squatting beside his legs, he instinctively tried to close his legs together.
Just as Su Wan was about to take action, a fire broke out outside the window, and at the same time, she heard voices.
Su Wan paused, her hand holding the scissors still, and squinted as she looked outside.
It turned out that the servants who had been kicked out earlier had been scolded by Madam Yang and told to keep a close eye on Su Wan, so they had no choice but to return to the courtyard to check on her.
Yang Yaozu, like a drowning man grasping at a straw, desperately opened his mouth to cry for help, "Ah...woo..."
His voice was extremely suppressed, and the servants stopped in their tracks.
"Let's not go over there, they're busy inside..." a servant said with a knowing smile.
Su Wan took the opportunity to back down and said gently in a voice that could be heard outside, "Cousin, you're really not cooperating. Spread your legs a little wider."
"Hurry up, hurry up!" The servants turned around in unison as soon as they reached the door. "If we disturb Young Master Yang's good time, he'll skin us alive."
As long as they knew Su Wan was still inside, they didn't want to offend Yang Yaozu.
As the footsteps faded into the distance, Su Wan let out a cold laugh.
Yang Yaozu had been hoping that the servants would notice something was wrong in the room and come to his rescue. But when he heard that everyone was leaving, he was filled with despair.
Su Wan sneered, "If you want to call for help, I advise you not to waste your time!"
Yang Yaozu struggled desperately. He shook his head, then nodded, as if trying to tell her something.
Su Wan gently tapped the back of his neck, and Yang Yaozu was finally able to hum, though his voice was weak and powerless.
"Say what you want to say quickly," Su Wan sat down in front of Yang Yaozu, crossing her legs. "If what you say is useful, maybe I'll be happy and let you go. If it's not useful..."
She leaned closer and held the scissors to his neck.
"You choose for yourself." Su Wan sat up straight, keeping a close eye on everything happening outside.
Yang Yaozu stared at the woman in front of him with fear in his eyes. She was still his beautiful cousin, but her words and actions were chilling.
Su Wan stared at him intently, and Yang Yaozu, startled, blurted out, "My aunt will arrest my little cousin tonight."
He only hoped that Su Wan would let him go, considering that he had told the truth.
"What?" Su Wan stood up abruptly. Her face was cold as she asked again, "Are you telling the truth?"
Yang Yaozu wanted to nod but nodded instead, and could only roll his eyes and say, "What I said is true. If you don't believe me, you can go and see for yourself at your little cousin's place."
Su Wan stared at him with her clear eyes for a long time, as if she could see right through him. She slowly bent down and said, word by word, "Before I go to find my brother, I'll take care of you first."
Yang Yaozu was terrified, his whole body trembled, but he was too weak to move.
Su Wan held the scissors to his throat and threatened, "Tell me now, what else are you hiding from me?"
"Yes...yes..." Seeing Su Wan hold the scissors close to his neck, Yang Yaozu was so frightened that he blurted out, "Your aunt wants to use him to blackmail you into handing over the jade pendant left by the First Madam."
Su Wan was taken aback, not expecting to elicit such an answer from the question.
She thought that Yang was planning to use Su Yuze to threaten her and make her afraid to run away again.
Unexpectedly, it was because of a jade pendant.
She had no memory of the jade pendant.
She then asked, "Why does Madam Yang want that jade pendant?"
Before her death, the original owner's mother, Madam Lin, entrusted a box to her for safekeeping, which could only be opened on her wedding day. As for the jade pendant, Madam Lin never mentioned it.
Could it be that the jade pendant was in that box?
"I don't know either, my aunt didn't say." Yang Yaozu glanced at her fearfully and confessed honestly.
Su Wan carefully observed Yang Yaozu's gaze and, seeing that he was not deceiving her, asked again, "Do you know where my younger brother is being held by the Yang family?"
Yang Yaozu shook his head.
“I don’t know. When I came over tonight, my aunt had already ordered the servants to arrest my little cousin,” Yang Yaozu said, seeing Su Wan’s ugly expression. He was afraid that Su Wan might kill him if she got upset. “My aunt will definitely not do anything to my little cousin before she sees the jade pendant.”
Su Wan knew this, of course, but she was still worried about Su Yuze being arrested by Madam Yang, so she wanted to go and see for herself.
She immediately got up, preparing to go to Yang's house to demand the person back.
She glanced at Yang Yaozu lying on the ground, then with a swift movement of her knife, two ounces of meat fell to the ground with a snap.
Yang Yaozu screamed in agony, his eyes rolled back in his head, and he completely lost consciousness.
Su Wan threw away the scissors in her hand, wiped her hands on the table in disgust, turned around and left to find a rope.
“Cousin,” she said as she tied him up, “I’ve found you a new place. You’re going to be promoted soon and go to the palace to be with the emperor. How glorious that will be! Don’t forget my contribution today! I’ll be enjoying the good life with you then.”
After doing all this, she got up and went to Yang's courtyard.
Everything she did was observed by the man in black watching from the opposite rooftop. After Su Wan left, the man in black also quietly left the Su family home.
