Chapter 63 Infertility

He gripped my wrist tightly, with more force than usual.

He was clearly quite angry.

Su Wan hissed and tried to pull her hand back, but then she heard Wei Jingzhuo say, "Since Miss Bai's medical skills are so superb, why don't you come and teach those military doctors with Doctor Su?"

After saying this, he looked at Su Wan, who was standing there in a daze, and a triumphant smile flashed in his cold eyes.

Su Wan originally wanted to get rid of Bai Zhiyi as soon as possible, and let whoever provoked her deal with it, but unexpectedly Wei Jingzhuo dumped her on her.

She was about to refuse when she heard Bai Zhiyi say softly, "I thank you for your kindness, young master. I have always wanted to share what I have learned. Now that you have spoken, I will humbly join Doctor Su in teaching the doctors."

Su Wan wanted to refuse, but she didn't know Bai Zhiyi's capabilities.

She wanted to refuse, but Wei Jingzhuo gently wrote a word in her palm.

That was the word "no".

Wei Jingzhuo instructed Bai Zhiyi, "Doctor Su's medical skills are superb. You can assist him from the side. If anything happens, just follow Doctor Su's arrangements."

Then, before leaving, he suddenly whispered in her ear, "Ah Wan, wait for me to come back to my room tonight."

He left without waiting for Su Wan's reaction.

Since Su Wan still doesn't understand, he'll take the initiative to make her understand.

Bai Zhiyi glanced at the two of them, her eyes flashing. She smiled and asked Su Wan, "Doctor Su, did Young Master Jin give any instructions just now?"

Su Wan was still standing there, stunned. What did he mean by what he just said?

What important thing does he want to tell her tonight?

She was in a daze all afternoon, but luckily she had prepared medical information beforehand, which she then sent to the doctors.

She left the rest to Bai Zhiyi.

Bai Zhiyi didn't keep Wei Jingzhuo to listen to her, but at least she stayed behind herself.

She can now come to the General's Mansion openly and legitimately, and she can even see His Highness at any time.

She didn't focus on medicine all afternoon, nor did she know how, and she was afraid of being noticed by Su Wan.

So whenever there was a problem, she would push the blame onto Su Wan.

Although she couldn't discern anything about Doctor Su yet, she wanted to see what kind of relationship she had with His Highness.

She never believed that His Highness would like such a man.

But the way the two of them were pulling and tugging just now made her wary of this exceptionally handsome Doctor Su.

Although it was a man.

In the evening, after the two had dinner with their own thoughts, Bai Zhiyi came to see Su Wan about medical matters.

Just as Su Wan finished washing up and was about to lie down to sleep, she heard the sound of the door opening.

She turned around and looked towards the doorway, where Wei Jingzhuo stepped into the house under the moonlight.

"Why are you back?" she asked Wei Jingzhuo in surprise.

Since arriving at the general's mansion, this person has been leaving early and returning late every day, and the two rarely meet at night.

For some reason, Wei Jingzhuo returned very early today, his gaze terrifyingly deep and somber.

She jolted awake and immediately sat up. "Why are you back?"

These words sounded to Wei Jingzhuo as if he was being disliked for coming back.

His face darkened, and without saying a word, he went straight to the back bathhouse to wash up, then put on a silk robe, revealing a patch of skin on his chest.

Su Wan couldn't help but admire the man's great physique.

Especially since he has recovered much better than before, when he removed his handsome face that had been hidden, he looked like an immortal who had stepped out of a painting.

Untouched by worldly affairs, like a hermit, always ready to ascend to immortality.

He walked to the bedside and looked at Su Wan, his voice clear and melodious, "A-Wan seems to dislike my return."

The two had always slept separately, but now that she saw him sitting on the edge of her bed, she hugged the blanket and said in a muffled voice, "No, it's not that. I was just a little surprised to see you come back so early today."

Wei Jingzhuo never left her sight and suddenly asked, "Is A-Wan complaining about me?"

Su Wan sensed a hint of danger in his words.

"I know you're complaining about the Northwest Army, how could I possibly blame you?" She yawned. "Alright, it's getting late, let's go to sleep."

This person is acting unusually strange today.

Although the two had kissed just a few days ago, they naturally went for it in that atmosphere.

Afterwards, she didn't feel there was anything wrong with it; she just felt that such a perfect man was now hers.

She didn't think much about anything else.

After she finished speaking, she lay down on the bed and immediately closed her eyes, pretending to be asleep.

Then she pressed her ear to listen carefully to the sounds around her, only to find that the person remained motionless for a long time.

Wei Jingzhuo watched her curl up in the blankets like an ostrich, and smiled slightly. This time, he didn't go to the other bed in the room.

Instead, she lifted a corner of the blanket and lay down.

Su Wan felt the blanket being gently pulled away, and her heart tightened for no reason.

Then she heard that familiar voice, tinged with tenderness, "Ah Wan, what are you so nervous about?"

A tingling, numb sensation ran through her, and she instinctively wanted to rub her ears.

When she raised her hand, Wei Jingzhuo gently grasped it. She tried to pull her hand back.

But he found himself no match for him and had no choice but to give up.

She stubbornly replied, "What a joke, how could I be nervous?"

Wei Jingzhuo smiled and did not expose her lie.

He raised his hand and the bed curtains fell down, leaving only a warm feeling inside.
