Su Wan raised her hands in a gesture of surrender and said to Jiang Wenpei, "Mr. Jiang, what are you doing here?"
Not only are they here, but they've also brought hundreds of clone army soldiers with them, which is really getting in the way.
Jiang Wenpei said, "The Creator was worried that the cloning facility would be destroyed, so he sent me to lead soldiers to guard it here. Sure enough, we encountered you guys."

Seeing that everyone's weapons had been confiscated, and even their hairpins had been taken, Su Wan asked Jiang Wenpei, "Mr. Jiang, what do you plan to do with us?"
Jiang Wenpei said, "I will not kill you, but you cannot hinder the Creator. Guards, take them to the prison and lock them up."
Cloning soldiers came over, two guarding each person. Fifty soldiers led the way, with Su Wan and her three companions in the middle, and another fifty soldiers guarding the rear. They left the cloning pod and came to a long corridor.
Seeing that she had no chance at all, Su Wan could only chat with Jiang Wenpei as she walked.
Unlike Zhang Ying, Jiang Wenpei felt that she might be able to persuade Jiang Wenpei.
The reason is simple: during her mother Jiang Yiling's generation of goddess, Jiang Wenpei secretly gave her a hawk-riding whistle, allowing her to escape the sacred land on a giant hawk. Later, Jiang Wenpei went against Bai Zhiyi's wishes and notified the people downstream of the Gui River to take refuge in time.
Most recently, Jiang Wenpei sent magpies to inform them that Zhang Ying was about to attack the capital of Southern Chu.
These past events reveal that Jiang Wenpei is the most humane person in the Holy Land. His kindness is ingrained in his bones; regardless of whether he has been cloned or not, he is still Jiang Wenpei. Perhaps we can reason with him and appeal to his emotions.
"Mr. Jiang, don't you think Zhang Ying's actions are wrong?"
"I do not judge the Creator, for I cannot go against the Creator's will."
Even if she's wrong?
“I have advised you many times. You are no match for the Creator, yet you insist on fighting against her. You have only yourself to blame for things coming to this point.”
After Jiang Wenpei finished speaking, Meng Ruliu and Chu Yi were both unconvinced and wanted to interrupt, but Wei Jingzhuo waved his hand to stop them: "Let Awan talk to him."
Su Wan said, "Does the gentleman mean that you succumbed to Zhang Ying because you couldn't fight her?"

Su Wan went inside and saw rows of transparent glass partitions, probably numbering in the hundreds.

Two clone army soldiers escorted her to a glass enclosure and locked her inside. Meng Ruliu was in the cell next to hers, followed by Wei Jingzhuo and Chu Yi. The four of them occupied four adjacent cells.
Su Wan asked the soldier imprisoning her, "Could you lock me up with A Jin?"
The soldier said, "Single cell, one person per cell," and slammed the door shut.
"It's over." Su Wan slumped against the glass wall and sat on the ground.
Everyone was locked up in jail, and they had no weapons. It was all over.
Meng Ruliu was unconvinced and punched the glass door so hard that her hand went numb, but the glass door didn't even shake.
She sat down next to Su Wan through the glass wall and said, "Sister-in-law, is there really no other way?"
Su Wan said, "What else can we do? They're all locked up in prison."
