Chapter 46: Road Blockage

Chapter 46: Road Blockage

Mr. Wang frowned slightly, revealing a look of disdain: "He died so quickly."

He looked at Yunniang who was leaning aside, and his eyes gradually became cold.

Yunniang said in a hoarse voice: "Master, please kill me."

Her voice was slurred because of an injury to her tongue.

Mr. Wang noticed it immediately, pinched her cheeks to make her open her mouth, and then slapped her in the face.

"Bite your tongue to commit suicide? Want to die for love? Why don't you bite your tongue off? How are you still alive?"

Master Wang sneered, "You're scared! You're a coward! I thought you were a heroine, but it turns out you're afraid of death too!"

Yunniang showed a look of humiliation, her expression was so weak and full of self-blame.

Yunniang is undoubtedly a beautiful woman, but she also knows how to make good use of her beauty.

With tears in her eyes, she said, "Yes, I am scared. Kill me, just kill me."

Mr. Wang looked down at her, looking at her disheveled hair, looking at her face that was covered in dust but could not be concealed, looking at the beautiful curves of her face and neck, looking at her humiliated expression and tearful eyes, which were so vivid and beautiful.

Mr. Wang felt pleased.

It's not just the pleasure of being in a superior position to decide life and death, the pleasure of humiliating her at will, but also the pleasure of seeing the weakness of the betrayer and conquering her again.

"Want to die? I won't let you die." Master Wang patted her face and said, "Aren't you a heroine? Just commit suicide."

Yunniang shed tears of humiliation, and her expression made Master Wang feel even happier.

Mr. Wang stood up and said, "Send her back to her room and keep an eye on her. Don't let her run away again."

Two strong servants immediately came up and lifted Yunniang up. She struggled hard, but it was useless.

Another servant beside Master Wang asked in confusion, "Master, are you just going to let her go just like that?"

Mr. Wang sneered, "Forgive? Humph, I didn't forgive her."

"You don't understand. Killing her now will only help her die. I have to give her hope so that she can despair."

Yunniang sobbed and struggled as she was taken to a room and locked up.

Only when she was alone did she reach out and touch her belly. She became completely quiet, like a puppet.

To tame an unruly wild horse, you need to use both kindness and force.

Master Wang is confident that he can conquer this woman again as long as he is a little patient.

But these past two days have been a bit of a hassle. Taoist Master Zhen’s matter is the biggest matter for the Wang family, and we cannot be careless at all.

The Wang family's cargo ship will dock at the dock in Yongkang County in the evening of the 15th. Before that, Mr. Wang needs to make arrangements to avoid inspections and clear the dock.

While it was still dark, the goods were unloaded and pulled to Xilongshan by horse-drawn carriage.

Before dawn, the carriage arrived at Xilong Mountain and took away the goods. In this way, everything would return to normal after dawn and the pilgrims would not discover anything.

Mr. Wang was busy for two days, taking care of everything, and finally the fifteenth day arrived.

As the sky gradually darkened, a cargo ship entered the dock.

Mr. Wang was standing in a high building outside the dock, looking into the distance. When he saw the cargo ship approaching and the Wang family flag on the mast, he immediately smiled and felt at ease.

He had promised Master Zhen that he would handle this matter properly. If he made any mistakes, he really could not bear the punishment from Master Zhen.

When he thought of the secret teachings that Taoist Master Zhen had told him, his heart became hot again.

The cargo ship docked and it was completely dark.

There was a little blue and purple cloud curtain in the west, and the bright moon hung obliquely in the sky like a jade wheel.

There were a few dim lights on the cargo ship, and dim lanterns were hung at the dock.

The lights were dim, illuminating the shadows in the dock. The shadows of ships, people, carriages, and cargo crisscrossed and kept changing in the dim light.

It seemed like something strange was hiding in the darkness, watching this transaction.

“Hurry! Hurry!”

Mr. Wang directed the boatmen to unload the cargo.

Some of the goods placed outside were normal goods, while the other part was tied into sacks, lifted out of the cabin and quickly stuffed into the carriage.

Seventeen sacks filled four carriages, and Mr. Wang personally escorted them with eight guards.

The four carriages started moving immediately and headed towards Xilong Mountain.

The night was dark, and although there was a bright moonlight, we couldn't walk fast.

Master Wang urged, "Hurry up."

The driver said, "Sir, we can't go any faster. If we injure the horse, it will only delay our journey."

Mr. Wang knew that he was getting anxious.

He couldn't help but be anxious.

If anyone knows about this taboo, the person will be beheaded.

Although he had experience, he didn't know why he felt uneasy and scared today.

But soon, his ominous premonition came true.

When the carriage reached the deserted forest, suddenly a noise came from the forest.

Mr. Wang's expression changed and he said, "Let's go!"

The driver pulled the reins and said, "Sir, the road is blocked."

Mr. Wang stretched his head and saw a huge rock blocking the middle of the road, blocking the carriage's way.

"Be on guard!" Fear arose in Mr. Wang's heart, but a wolf-like ferocity appeared on his face.

In just a moment, a group of twenty bandits emerged from the woods and surrounded the carriage.

The coachman and guards on the carriage immediately drew their swords and confronted each other.

The torches crackled in the air, illuminating the faces of these bandits.

They were all pale and thin, with only pitchforks and sickles in their hands as weapons.

Mr. Wang was certain in his heart and sneered, "Where did these unruly people come from to rob my Wang family's carriages and horses?"

"It's Master Wang." A voice came from the crowd, and a burly man walked out from the bandits.

The man was tall and had a ferocious face. He dragged a long sword along the ground as he walked. His voice was filled with hatred. "Do you still remember me?"

Mr. Wang looked over and was shocked: "It turned out to be you!"

He was furious and said, "You are not dead yet."

The big man sneered, "You embezzled my family's assets and killed my parents and brothers. You didn't die, so how dare I die?"

Mr. Wang couldn't help but recall the experience many years ago, feeling both fear and hatred. "Are you relying on just a few of you?"

The big man said, "Of course not only that."

"Go!" The big man shouted loudly, took the lead, dragged his sword forward, and slashed at Master Wang.

The sharp blade flashed before his eyes, and Master Wang once again felt the smell of death from that year.

But he was different today as he had some skills. He immediately rolled over and jumped off the carriage, avoiding the beheading attack.

The guards on the carriage drew their swords and stepped forward to chop at the big man.

The big man raised his long sword, knocking away the guard's blade, and slashed with his backhand, causing half of the guard's cheek to fall to the ground. Blood spurted out and splashed all over the big man.

The big man said cheerfully, "Great revenge will be achieved today!"

The Han Dynasty pursued and killed Master Wang.

The guards and grooms hurriedly helped Master Wang retreat.

With the blade in front of him, a ferocious look appeared on Mr. Wang's face. He reached into his arms, took out a pill and put it into his mouth.

"You forced me to do this!"
