Chapter 2: Run over and kick your feet

Jiang Huaixu, who had fallen to the ground, had been helped up by Qian Xiuzhu. She stared blankly at the original owner's mother in front of her, feeling very strange.

In my memory, Qian Xiuzhu didn’t care much about her original body. She would always provide her with food and clothing, but that was all.

Liu was used to secretly torturing the original owner and even threatened to sell her out if she told anyone. The original owner was young and only knew fear, and didn't dare to tell anyone. I don't know how much suffering she suffered at her hands.

The original owner's parents treated her sister more affectionately than herself, so she thought that she was not loved by her parents because she was mute.

After the nine-year-old girl grew up, she huddled in a corner, licking her wounds in the day-to-day suffering and silence.

Jiang Huaixu looked up at Qian Xiuzhu again, and the confusion and worry on her face were obvious.

Sensing the gaze of the person in her arms, Qian Xiuzhu smiled at her with a complicated expression and pulled Jiang Wei aside, "Take good care of your sister. I'll go see your father."

Jiang Wei felt that her mother was a little strange today. She had always been tolerant of her grandmother. If she couldn't tolerate it anymore, she would go to her father, and then her father would go to her grandfather. She had never opposed her grandmother in every way like today.

Thinking of this, she glanced at the mute girl. When she was little, she loved playing with the mute girl the most. The mute girl was very well-behaved and very quiet because she couldn't speak. She was also a talkative person, so every time she talked to the mute girl, she listened very carefully.

Later, as she grew up, she suddenly found that the children in the village did not like the dumb girl. Whenever she played with the dumb girl, she would be laughed at. She was ignorant at the time and gradually distanced herself from the dumb girl.

After the eldest and second brothers found out about this, they taught everyone in the village who had laughed at the mute girl a lesson. No one dared to say anything, but unfortunately the mute girl refused to play with them and wouldn't even let them touch her.

She knew that the mute girl was angry with her...

She was a little conflicted, but looking at the mute girl's messy hair, she still tried to pull the mute girl's little hand. Seeing that the mute girl did not dodge, she held on to it without letting go.

Jiang Huaixu followed Jiang Wei to a place far away from the crowd without any resistance. She could feel that this body was very weak and painful all over.

Apart from not being able to speak, she has adapted to everything else. For her, she can go anywhere without her parents.

In modern times, her father is a soldier and her mother is a doctor. Influenced by her parents, she became a special forces soldier and also became proficient in medical skills.

Ever since her parents died unexpectedly when she was twenty years old, a bunch of evildoers claiming to be her relatives came to her house, with nothing but profit on their faces and in their hearts.

But she is not a pushover. She is not afraid of anyone, whether it is civil or military.

After this incident, she felt no sense of belonging anywhere except the house her parents left her. For her, modern times made no difference to ancient times; she could live an optimistic and positive life.

Jiang Huaixu let out a sigh of relief. Let her be called Mute Girl. She can change her name later.

She calmed herself down and began to sort out the memories in her mind.

The Jin Dynasty was unlike any other dynasty China had ever experienced. After years of war, the Cang family conquered the country. When the new emperor ascended the throne, the border was unstable and the people suffered a lot.

Old man Jiang Mingde was the only son in his family. His parents worked hard to support him in his studies and he became the only student in Shili Village. When he was young, he fell in love with his first wife Wang. They had a son and a daughter, the eldest son Jiang Boliang and the second daughter Jiang Tao.

Later, Wang fell ill and died. Old man Jiang married his distant cousin Liu Meixiang at the behest of his parents. They had a son named Jiang Shujian.

Liu was a hot-tempered and unreasonable person who would make trouble even if it was unreasonable. Most importantly, she was shameless and did not hide her harsh treatment of Jiang Lao Da and Jiang Tao, but treated her own son like a treasure.

When Jiang Lao Da was young, he also studied with Old Man Jiang. After Liu gave birth to Jiang Shujian, she started to complain that Jiang Lao Da was not good at studying, causing chaos in the family.

The young Jiang Lao Da couldn't bear to see his father in trouble, so he gave in. This concession was serious, and he couldn't make any progress for the next ten or twenty years.

After Jiang Lao Da married Qian Xiuzhu from the neighboring Dahuai Village, they had three sons and two daughters. The eldest son, Jiang Zheng, was seventeen years old and married Zheng Li'niang; the second son, Jiang Xun, was fourteen years old; the third son, Jiang Che, was twelve years old; and the last were ten-year-old Jiang Wei and nine-year-old Jiang Yamei.

After Jiang Tao got married, she rarely visited her parents' home. After Jiang Shujian married Zhao, Liu started to make a fuss about dividing the family property. Old man Jiang gritted his teeth and resisted for a while, but finally couldn't resist and agreed.

After the family split up, Liu became more and more proud and was just waiting for her son to pass the imperial examination. The only thing that made her unhappy was that Jiang Shujian had only two daughters, eight-year-old Jiang Fu and three-year-old Jiang Rong.

Liu wanted a grandson more and more. She not only bullied Zhao, but also looked down on her granddaughters at home. However, Jiang Fu and Jiang Rong were her own granddaughters after all, so she couldn't bring herself to do anything.

After thinking it over, he took out all his anger on the mute girl who couldn't speak. At first he just ordered her around, but later he started to order her around openly but abused her secretly.

Thinking of this, the mute girl looked at the crowd. Liu had dark yellow skin, a relatively high forehead, three white spots under her eyes, deep nasolabial folds, and a thin mouth. It was obvious that she had a face that was not easy to get along with.

Appearance is determined by the heart. The ancients were right. She nodded secretly.

On the other side, Qian Xiuzhu stepped forward and pulled out Boss Jiang who was involved.

The two men walked to a quiet place and talked for a while when Jiang Dalang and Jiang Erlang came over.

Jiang Dalang has a calm personality and is still able to remain stable at this time.

Jiang Erlang was different. His eyes were filled with a biting coldness. "Mom, we can't pick up this mess. Second Uncle's house is a bottomless pit. No matter how much you put in, it's useless. I've told you many times, don't be as confused as Dad!"
