The Wild Horse Club is only two kilometers away from the location where the bridge is blocked.
Led by the running group, in just about 5 minutes, a huge sign hanging on a 5-story building ahead could be seen: Wild Horse Club.
They did not stop the seven men who stormed into the club, after all, they were not there to cause trouble.
The heavy truck stopped at the club's entrance, and at the same time, its mental perception area extended into the club.
The club had already lost power and the elevators were not working. Instead of staying on the first floor, the seven people rushed up the stairs next to it.
In a private room on the third floor, with the doors and windows open and the sunlight streaming in, four men and seven women sat chatting casually.
Four men and one woman sat on the sofa next to the central table, chatting, while the other six women sat silently to the side.
"Once they come back at noon, we don't need to keep watch anymore. We can go straight to the residential area to collect supplies."
The man, who was sitting in the middle, wearing a black T-shirt, brown shorts, slightly overweight with a buzz cut, and wearing black-rimmed glasses, and who appeared to be around 30 years old, spoke.
A man sitting to the side, wearing a red shirt and checkered shorts, waved his thin but seemingly powerful arm and answered:
"I've been wanting to rush over there and kill zombies for ages! Brother Jie, you're too conservative. I could kill a hundred of those mindless zombies!"
"Awei, you were just too careless."
"Zombies may be mindless, but there are way more than just a hundred of them. What if there were ten thousand? Could you possibly kill them all?"
It seems that the man in black sitting in the middle is the "Brother Jie" mentioned by the blond guy, and the one who spoke to him is another flesh-based ability user, Awei.
Before the conversation could continue, the roar of a heavy truck engine outside the club grew closer, and Huang Mao's shouts came from the stairwell next door.
"Let's go out and take a look."
Brother Jie took the lead, followed by three men and one woman, and then six other women also got up and followed behind.
The seven people who rushed up to the third floor also saw Brother Jie and the others in the lobby. The group, who had been running for two or three kilometers, were panting heavily.
Looking at the disheveled group resting in the hall, I was curious about what had happened and what was going on with the blond guy's new hairstyle.
But Brother Jie stood aside and waited for them to rest, and the others didn't say anything.
The first to recover, the blond-haired guy, explained to Brother Jie what happened while blocking the bridge:
They flagged down a heavy truck, encountered two men in armor, and were then taught a lesson.
I inquired about the club's situation; these two men in their heavy truck should already be at the club's entrance.
Terrified, the blond-haired man didn't dare embellish the story and reported it truthfully.
After learning what had happened, Brother Jie's lips twitched, and he was speechless at this yellow-haired traitor.
'So you told other people all the club's information?'
They even brought the enemy to our currently undefended base camp?
The blond-haired man realized he had said something he shouldn't have and begged for forgiveness:
"Brother Jie, if we don't tell them, they're going to kill us and throw us under the bridge to feed the fish!"
You have no idea how ruthless those two were!
"Brother Jie, we were forced into this!"
The other six henchmen also looked dejected and tried to explain to Brother Jie.
Although he wanted to kick the blond guy's butt hard, Brother Jie held back.
He asked the people in front of him:
"Have you figured out their superpowers yet?"
What is their approximate strength?
The blond-haired guy answered again:
"There's one wielding a big hammer; he must be as strong as we are."
But they were much stronger than me, and I couldn't fight back at all.
The other man's abilities were unknown; he simply reached out his hand.
It blew the car behind us away, and it also blew away my hair.
Oh, my flowing hair!
His pupils contracted; Brother Jie knew there was no escaping it now, but for a moment he didn't know what to do.
According to Huang Mao, neither of these two people are someone the current club members can compete with.
In his mental perception, he saw that Huang Mao had clearly explained the whole story, and he was quite satisfied that the guy hadn't embellished anything.
'You're quite sensible. You really need to be a little tougher, otherwise nobody will be afraid of you.'
Seeing that the group was going to continue their conversation on the third floor, Huang Zhao gestured for Qin Yi to step on the accelerator of the heavy truck twice.
Honking the horn might attract zombies from the surrounding area, which would be a real hassle. We're not out here to mow the lawn!
The roar of the truck engine repeatedly reminded everyone in the club to get out as soon as possible.
With a disapproving glance at the seven people in front of him, Brother Jie led everyone down the stairs.
Seeing that everyone from the club was already coming downstairs, Huang Zhao also beckoned Qin Yi to get out of the cab of the heavy truck.
As he walked out of the club, two men and one woman stood behind him, while other men and women stood further back.
Seeing Huang Zhao and Qin Yi standing in front of the club after getting out of the car, both dressed in full armor, Brother Jie's lips twitched slightly.
'You two have certainly managed to make the apocalypse more interesting.'
Huang Zhao was also observing this "Brother Jie" mentioned by everyone with his eyes, without looking closely through his mental perception.
This guy, Jay, seemed to be trying to project a refined and kind image, but his buzz cut and somewhat roguish smile didn't match the persona he wanted at all.
Looking at Brother Jie dressed like this, Huang Zhao seemed to have a vague recollection of him, as if he had seen him somewhere before.
After all, people who have seen this image will have a deep impression of it, but they can't remember it for a while.
After sizing up the two men in front of him, who were clad in armor and whose identities were obscured, Brother Jie broke the silence and asked:
"Friend, what's your approach?"
"Your underlings blocked the road and robbed people, so I taught them a lesson. Brother Jie, you won't mind, will you?"
Hearing a fluent Shanghai dialect, and a voice that seemed somewhat familiar, Brother Jie was a little puzzled.
While trying to recall where he had heard that name before, he replied awkwardly:
"They are blind to the situation, so they can't blame their brother."
“I didn’t want to offend Brother Jie, so I came here in person to meet him and to bring things up.”
"Oh? Interesting."
What do you mean by that?
"The zombie crisis has broken out, and monsters that have turned into zombies are everywhere. I think you have all seen them."
I've built a shelter in Fusen Country Park to the east, and now I need help with its construction.
I invite you to come over in exchange for food, shelter, and the guarantee of your safety in the shelter.
I wonder if Brother Jie would be willing to bring his brothers over as guests?
Hearing the increasingly familiar voice, and then hearing Huang Zhao mention the refuge in the east, a flood of memories rushed through my mind.
A surprised smile appeared on his face, and he quickly asked:
"A refuge in the east?"
Are you General Manager Chen of the Chen Group?
