The door to the ward was pushed open, and a figure quietly appeared in the room, walking straight toward the bed.
The little girl sitting on the hospital bed looked in the direction of the voice, and upon recognizing the person, she became excited and exclaimed, "Uncle, why did it take you so long to come see Sisi?"

Less than twenty seconds after Li Yong left the ward, Zhang Dezhen's wife pushed open the door. Before she could speak, she noticed the large fruit basket on the bedside table and the sunflower her daughter was holding.
"Sisi, did someone come to see you just now? Do you know that person?"
As Zhang Dezhen's wife asked questions, she set up a small table on the hospital bed and placed the food she had just brought back on the table one by one.
"Yes!" Sisi nodded vigorously, excitedly saying, "It's Uncle who came to see Sisi!"
"Uncle?" Zhang Dezhen's wife's hand trembled as she held the dishes, spilling a few drops of soup onto the small table. She suddenly looked up at her daughter and asked again, "Sisi, are you sure it's your uncle who's here to see you?"
"Yes!" Sisi proudly held up a sunflower, "My uncle even brought me a sunflower!"
After saying that, Sisi suddenly remembered what her uncle had just told her and quickly said, "Mom, Uncle just told me to tell you that he's not working at the hotel anymore. He plans to work in another city and told you not to worry about me. Where is Uncle going to work?"
Zhang Dezhen's wife didn't answer, nor did she know how to answer her daughter's question. After giving a vague answer, she went straight to the bedside table where the fruit basket was placed. After searching for a moment, she found a greeting card and two thick stacks of RMB in the basket.
"Sis, I'm planning to open a small braised food shop in another city. I'll tell you when the shop is up and running. This money is what I earned after coming to Haishi. Sisi had such a big operation, so let's save it to help her get better nutrition. I heard about my husband from Zhang Hong and Zhang Guang. I misjudged him before. He's a capable man, so you won't have to suffer anymore."
At the same time, in another location, a figure stealthily approached the courtyard of Xu An's family in Xu Family Village. Peeking through the crack in the wooden door, the figure breathed a sigh of relief only when Grandma Xu emerged from the main room and headed towards the kitchen. He then quickly knocked on the door and called out loudly:

The familiar shout made Grandma Xu stop in her tracks on her way to the kitchen. After standing still for three seconds, she sighed softly and muttered, "It's finally here." Then she slowly walked to the gate, unlatched it, and opened it a crack to look at her daughter standing outside, remaining silent.
"Mom, I brought you oatmeal specially made for older people. It has calcium and stuff in it, which is good for your health. I also brought you red date milk, red date flavored, it's very nutritious."
After showing the two gifts she was holding, Xu Juan reached out to push open the courtyard gate, but a second before her fingers touched it, Grandma Xu stopped her and said calmly, "The house is too cluttered and inconvenient inside. Let's talk here."
A hint of displeasure flashed quickly in Xu Juan's eyes. She forcibly suppressed her dissatisfaction, putting on a pitiful and miserable appearance, and said in a tearful voice, "Mom, you know how much I've suffered and how many scoldings I've endured all these years because I don't have children. I never imagined the problem wasn't with me."
"Mom, I can't live with him anymore. I plan to divorce him, move my household registration back here, and live a good life with you. From now on, we'll live together.
