Chapter Thirty-Six: College Entrance Examination Scores and Application Forms

From a great distance, Xu An saw Xu Heping pack his things, lie under the shade of a tree, legs crossed, playing on his phone, with a wild grass he'd picked from somewhere dangling from his mouth, swaying it up and down, looking quite carefree.

"Peace, let's pack up and head home!"

"Hey there! It's only 12:30. Why are you here so early today?"

Upon hearing Xu An's shout, Xu Heping jumped up from the ground, glanced at his phone and saw that it was only 12:30. He usually didn't get back until after 1 a.m.

"There's a college near the Shanghai Library. Twenty or thirty people came in a flash, and the whole place was sold out in one go."

Xu An helped move the baskets and other items onto the tricycle.

"Hey, things are going well here today too. Twenty servings sold out in just over ten minutes, and they're all from regular customers. I think we can get some more tomorrow."

Xu An thought for a moment and nodded, saying, "Twenty portions here is indeed a bit few. Let's add ten more. I'll leave mine as is. I'm just worried that those students are only interested for a short time and won't come back once the hype dies down."

After packing their things, the two of them, one on a tricycle and the other on a bicycle, slowly rode towards Xujia Village.

"Anzi, what were your college entrance exam scores? Which university did you apply to?" Xu Heping suddenly remembered the class monitor's instructions and quickly asked.

College entrance exam results?

School?

Choosing a university major?

Xu An froze for a moment.

For the past two weeks, I've been busy either with the boxed lunch business or taking care of my family.

After deciding never to go to university again, Xu An completely forgot about his college entrance exam scores and choosing a major.

Although I've already decided not to go to university, I still have to go through the motions of maintaining appearances.

"Heping, have you checked your own grades?" Xu An didn't answer Xu Heping's question, but asked him back.

"No need to check, I definitely won't pass. I checked the answers right after the exam, and I got less than 300 points. Only the university of life will accept me." Xu Heping didn't care at all about going to university.

Then, seemingly worried about Xu An's persuasion, he added, "After my parents finish their business and come back, I'll run the fishpond with them. I can't be a cultured person; I'm born to be a big boss."

After saying that, she seemed to remember something and added, "Anzi, don't worry about your family. Focus on your university studies. I'll take good care of you in the village."

Xu An was about to say, "I don't plan to go to university," but Xu Heping's words stopped him from saying it.

Never mind, I'll talk about it later.

"Peace, come with me to an internet cafe."

“Okay, we just closed up shop early today, it’s not too late to go play for an hour or two.”
