Having learned from his previous experience, Xu An originally planned to tell the two boys about taking them to the zoo in the afternoon after they woke up the next morning. Despite his displeasure, Xu An still pulled the blanket over their round little bellies.
Xu An didn't know exactly what time the two little ones fell asleep last night. The last time he checked the time before falling asleep was 11:40 PM, after which he drifted off to sleep. But before he fell asleep, the two little ones were still chatting away energetically.
After a quick wash, Xu An went into the kitchen. It was already 9:30, and by the time he got to the shop, it would be past 10 or 11. He decided to just have a simple breakfast.
He pulled out a bag of flour and three eggs, then diced ham and scallions, added milk and salt, and mixed all the ingredients well. He then quickly set up a fire, heated a pan, added oil, and began frying the pancakes.
