Chapter 182 Who is more powerful, the tiger or the lion?

Having learned from his previous experience, Xu An originally planned to tell the two boys about taking them to the zoo in the afternoon after they woke up the next morning. However, the two boys clearly remembered that Xu An had broken his promise and didn't take them out to play. They kept muttering, "Bad brother, brother lied to me," so Xu An couldn't help but tell the two little ones the news.

Upon hearing that they were going to the zoo the next day, the two were overjoyed. They divided the tasks very clearly: one ran to find a bag, and the other ran to pack animal-related picture books and toys, planning to take them to the zoo together the next day.

Seeing that there weren't many, Xu An let them do as they pleased and went about his own business. When Xu An finished and returned to the bedroom, preparing to get the two little ones ready for bed, he found the bed piled high with picture books and toys, and the two of them were lying on top of them, quietly arguing.

"Tigers are the most powerful!"

"The lion is the most powerful!"

"No, that's not true. My brother said that the tiger is the king of all animals." Xu Le said, pointing her little finger at the picture book. "Look, the tiger has the character 'king' on its forehead, but the lion doesn't, so the lion isn't the boss!"

Well-reasoned and logically presented, Xu Kang, though still unconvinced, couldn't find a reason to refute it. However, when he looked up, he saw Xu An standing at the door watching the show, and immediately felt like he had seen a savior, throwing this age-old question at Xu An: "Brother, tell me, which is stronger, the tiger or the lion!"

Xu An went from being a bystander to being involved, and he genuinely didn't know the answer to this question. What 9-to-5 office worker has the leisure to figure out who's stronger, a tiger or a lion? They'd be better off looking up a couple of recipes and cooking something delicious to treat themselves.

Although Xu An didn't know the answer, he remained calm and said in a drawn-out tone, "Put away your picture books and toys on the bed, lie down properly, and I'll tell you which is stronger, the tiger or the lion!"

Upon hearing this, the two children jumped up from the bed and hurriedly tidied up the picture books and toys on the bed. Xu An quietly turned to the side, took out his phone, opened the browser, entered the question "Who is stronger, a lion or a tiger?" into the search bar, and pressed the confirm button.

I don't know the answer, but the all-knowing Baidu knows! No worries!

In terms of size, most tigers are larger than lions. Tigers are solitary animals, while lions are social animals. Tigers are better hunters than lions. Therefore, tigers have a slight advantage. However, they live in different places and have almost no interaction. In their respective territories, they are both kings.

Xu An had just finished looking up the answer and organizing his thoughts when Xu Kang and Xu Le had already packed up their toy picture books. Their big, dark eyes were fixed on Xu An, their faces full of anticipation, hoping to hear the answer they wanted from him.

Cough cough ————

After coughing twice in a mock manner, Xu An slowly said, "Which is more powerful, a tiger or a lion? Well, tigers live in the forest and are the kings of the forest; lions live on the grasslands and are the kings of the grasslands. They are both kings in their respective places!"

Disappointment flickered in both their eyes as they reluctantly accepted the answer. But a new question arose: their focus shifted from who was stronger, the tiger or the lion, to what forests and grasslands were like, what kinds of animals lived there, and whether they could see forests and grasslands at the zoo the next day.

Xu An lay on the bed, staring blankly at the wooden beams of the roof, listening to the chattering sounds around him. He made a decision in his heart—never again would he tell the two of them where he planned to take them to play at night. From now on, his main activity would be opening blind boxes, and he would never tell them until the last second!

The next morning, Xu An groggily opened his eyes and found that it was already bright outside, with the sun shining directly onto the bedside. He checked his phone; it was 9:20 AM.

Holy crap! In the store

Just as he was about to leap up, Xu An's dazed mind suddenly came to its senses. Wang Fulong was watching over the shop, and he had told him that he had something to do today and wouldn't be going to the shop, so he had asked Wang Fulong to manage it in his place.

"Phew, that's alright then," Xu An breathed a sigh of relief, stretched lazily, and turned to look beside him. The two little ones were curled up in a ball, fast asleep. Xu An clicked his tongue in slight disgust. They should be sleeping at night, but they shouldn't be getting up in the morning. They're so young, yet they already have the potential to be night owls. Despite his displeasure, Xu An still pulled the blanket over their round little bellies.

Xu An didn't know exactly what time the two little ones fell asleep last night. The last time he checked the time before falling asleep was 11:40 PM, after which he drifted off to sleep. But before he fell asleep, the two little ones were still chatting away energetically.

After a quick wash, Xu An went into the kitchen. It was already 9:30, and by the time he got to the shop, it would be past 10 or 11. He decided to just have a simple breakfast.

He pulled out a bag of flour and three eggs, then diced ham and scallions, added milk and salt, and mixed all the ingredients well. He then quickly set up a fire, heated a pan, added oil, and began frying the pancakes. In no time, the sticky mixture had transformed into three round, golden-orange ham and egg pancakes with a subtle meaty aroma.

Although Wang Fulong and the others hadn't been with the company for long, they were already quite adept at working at Xu's Fast Food Restaurant. Xu An took a stroll around the store and found everyone performing their duties efficiently, with no problems arising from his absence.
