Come to my clan, orcs of the earth, who will run...

The next day.

Lorelei, following the original plan, led his people in a frontal attack on the Bear-orc clan. After luring out the Bear-orcs who possessed the power of nature, he feigned defeat and retreated.

As Jiang Yunlan had predicted, the Bear Beastman Clan failed to detect the Dragon and Xia Clan Beastmen lurking nearby and easily took the bait.

A bear-orc with the power of wind led a group of bear-orcs out of their habitat to capture the newly appeared Zelan, kicking a wood-power bear-orc who had also broken out of the clan back to guard Zelan. Her wind blades were far more powerful than those of the bear-orcs who could only control plant growth. The bear-orcs who had been kicked to guard the clan dared not utter a word of anger, and slowly shuffled back to the clan, holding their breath.

The bear-orc who could control trees walked back alone, only to find his feet frozen solid. His expression twisted, and his hands, hanging at his sides, clenched into fists.

The vines growing on the animal hide knocked away many arrows flying towards him, then snaked downwards, chiseling through the ice and digging out his feet.

He turned towards the direction from which the attack had come, looked at Hida and the other orcs, and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Oh? So there's Zeran here too. I'm already annoyed, so you'd better behave yourselves and stop making a futile struggle...?"

His keen instincts spurred him forward, rolling several times to barely dodge the sharp sword that appeared behind him. His arm, which was bracing himself on the ground, was frozen. What troubled him even more was that he realized someone was vying with him for control of the vines.

He clicked his tongue in disapproval, scrambling with Zelan for the vines while directing the long, wild grasses he had forced to grow to defend against the sword's attacks. He also took the opportunity to attack Shida and the other Zelan members who were standing together not far away during the gaps in the attack.

The Xia clan orcs stood guard beside the Zelans, wielding their weapons to cut down the plants.

The ice freezing the bear-orc's arm was spreading, forcing him to abandon his attack and cover his body with wild grass to resist the cold.

Then he discovered that the Zeran were not only vying for control of the vines, but also for the wild grass, trying to pierce his body with the plants covering him. He was caught in a dilemma, yet he still had to fight against the expressionless orcs attacking him with weapons.

He panicked and threatened, "Zelan orcs! You dare to hurt me? Aren't you afraid my men will kill your own kind?!"

"If you want your people to live, kill that ice-wielding orc and this orc in front of me now!"

Sheida's expression grew even colder as she forcefully seized control of a plant around him and pierced its way through his body.

"Die! My people, Yulan, will save them!" Shida shouted, her light green eyes suddenly turning dark green, and her feet gradually becoming transparent.

A Zelan called out Shida's name and suddenly rammed into him, interrupting his actions.

The bear-beastman coughed up blood and had no choice but to give up resisting the ice. He seized the plant controlled by Shida and forcibly tore it away from his wounds. Half of his body was frozen, rendering him immobile, and his control over the plant gradually weakened.

Seeing that his reaction to waving the plants had slowed down, Heitu made a feint, using the shield on his left arm to clear away another bunch of plants blocking him, and pointed his sword at his throat, saying coldly, "No Zelan will die. Lan has already led Yan Duoyu and the others to rescue the orcs you captured."

The habitat of the bear-beastmen.

After the bear-beastman with the power of wind led many bear-beastmen to hunt down Lorelei and his group, Jiang Yunlan and her people suddenly knocked down the bear-beastmen guarding the gate, quickly covered their mouths, and made no unnecessary noise throughout the process.

The bear-orc clan remained quiet. Jiang Yunlan observed her surroundings, gestured to her clansmen to proceed along the planned route, and then led Feng Hong and several other orcs who were cooperating with her in attacking the other bear-orcs, straight to the location of Ze Lan and the others.

It wasn't until Jiang Yunlan and her group defeated the third group of bear-beastmen they encountered that the bear-beastman clan made a sound.

"Enemy attack!"

Upon hearing this, 022, who was staying in the vine shed, knew that the time had come. He whispered to the orc leader, Bai Shui, and others, "Begin the operation."

The emaciated orcs, including Bai Shui, who hadn't eaten in a long time, smashed the vines binding their feet, bared their claws, and pounced on the only bear-orc guarding them. They laboriously pinned down the bear-orc, who was being held back by 022, and clawed and clawed again and again—

They finally killed the bear-beastman.

The hatred that had been lurking in their hearts erupted in an instant, and they turned their gaze to the place 022 had told them about, the location of the cubs.

Those bear-beastmen thought that locking the captured beastmen in the vine shed would solve everything, never imagining that the group of beastmen, unable to run fast, could actually drag their sick and injured companions all the way to the location of the cubs.

Those bear-orcs who encounter them on the way will only suffer the pain of being killed by a group attack.

Unhindered by wind blades and vegetation, the orcs, including Bai Shui, were fearless, their eyes filled with murderous intent. They moved silently, like a surging tide, pressing forward relentlessly!

The blood on the ground grew thicker and thicker. The beastmen dragged their exhausted bodies, staring intently at their destination in their field of vision, taking one step after another.

When the thorn cages imprisoning the cubs came into view, Bai Shui and the other orcs relaxed, collapsing to the ground and panting heavily.

Xia's orcs lured away most of the bear orcs; they encountered only a few bear orcs on their way here.

They had arrived at their destination, and Bai Shui and the other orcs saw the unfamiliar orcs appearing in their line of sight. Those orcs must be from the Xia clan.

I could have relaxed, but looking at the cubs inside the thorn cage, so weak that they couldn't even make a sound.

Bai Shui and the other orcs were unwilling to simply lie on the ground. They wanted to go over and check on the cubs.

Their intense emotions compelled them to raise their arms, and their hands were supported by Xia's orcs.

The beastmen were stunned. They looked up and saw the strong and robust Xia clan beastmen smiling brightly at them, saying, "You're going to check on the cubs, right? We'll carry you there."

Yan Duoyu crouched down, supported the orc Bai Shui who was closest to her, and placed Bai Shui in front of the thorn cage.

They opened the thorn cage, but lacked the strength to carry the cubs out. In the end, it was Yan Duoyu and other Xia clan beastmen who carried the cubs out.

Bai Shui laughed unconsciously, and the laughter grew louder and louder. The beastmen, who had been trapped for a long time, also couldn't stop laughing, laughing until they were breathless.

Hearing her companions' listless laughter, Bai Shui turned to Yan Duoyu, her voice hoarse, "I don't see Lan, where is Lan?"

She didn't see Lan and was very worried about the cub that said it would rescue them.

"Lan took Feng Hong and the others to rescue the Ze Lans. We're here to handle things. Another group of tribesmen is still clearing out the other bear-beastmen and looking for any beastmen who might have been left behind," Yan Duoyu said.

If Bai Shui and the others hadn't arrived here, Yan Duoyu would have followed the route 022 had taken them to the vine shed to find them after rescuing the cubs.

"I'm going to find Lan over there. Yan Duoyu, you're in charge of them." 022 said, flying towards the place where Ze Lan and the others were being held.

Jiang Yunlan saw the Ze Lan in the thorn cage at almost the same time that Yan Duoyu found the cubs.

She counted the number of bear-beastmen; there were ten.

Ten bear-orcs sat calmly on the ground, surrounding the enormous spiked cage. The sounds from the tribe gradually subsided; they assumed it was because their people had captured an enemy who had invaded their habitat, and scoffed.

The orcs who attacked the clan this time were really weak; they were defeated so quickly.

Their smug smiles didn't last long before they noticed one of their kin suddenly collapse, struck in the chest by a long, branch-like object. Orcs, seemingly appearing out of nowhere, were attacking them with strange, sharp weapons.

Jiang Yunlan, hiding in the shadows, fired sneak attacks, assisting Feng Hong and the other orcs in stopping the bear orcs from piercing the cage.

Another member of their clan fell, and the bear-beastmen guarding the area finally realized that their clan had been breached. Terrified, they hid from the bloodthirsty Maple and his beastmen, desperate to escape the clan and flee as far away as possible.

The four surviving bear-beastmen fled in different directions, three of them being subdued. The last one, thinking he had escaped, beamed with joy, only to be tripped by 022 who happened to arrive, and was also captured.

The grassland orcs, including Feng Shier, hated them to the core and, the moment they pinned them down, chopped off their heads.

Xia's orc turned to the thorn cage, narrowed his eyes, and smashed the thorn cage in a few moves, carrying out the Zelans lying on the stone.

The bear-beastmen knew that Zelan could burrow underground, so they never allowed Zelan to come into direct contact with the ground. The stones where the Zelan lay were the hardest stones they had ever found, large boulders that even they themselves found difficult to grind.

Jiang Yunlan ran over and looked at the Zelans, who were being held in the arms of Feng Hong and the other orcs and were barely moving, and asked worriedly, "Are you all alright?"

"It's just that I've used up too much strength and can't lift my hand," the Zelans said, smiling at her.

Their voices were soft, and their joy was almost overflowing. "I know you are the Lan that 022 mentioned. I'm so happy to finally meet you."

022 said that when they see Lan, that will be the time when they are free.

We are free.

Not far away, Bai Shui and the other orcs lay on the ground, tears streaming down their faces after their laughter subsided.

They are free, but where can they go? Having lost half of their tribe and their homeland, where can they return to?

"Come to my clan. I hope you can become my people, become a part of Xia," Jiang Yunlan said to the bewildered beastmen.

Bai Shui and the other orcs froze, instinctively glancing at the Xia clan orcs beside them, then at their companions, their hearts pounding. Was there somewhere we could go back to?

Suppressing their excitement, they anxiously asked again, "Is it really possible? Is the Xia clan truly willing to accept us, even though we are so weak, injured, and sick?"

"Of course. Xia welcomes you."
